ChuckCheese Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 According to French online magazine canoe, in a recent interview Q&A, Michael Bublè confirmed working with Linkin Park vocalist Mike Shinoda on a song. Whether Mike took a producing spot we don't know, but this marks a really interesting collaboration. Check out the translated excerpt below. An album of covers, heavy metal or hip-hop collaborations? - "Hip-hop collaborations. I recently made a song with Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park. I can easily imagine that I have written pieces that can be sampled in hip-hop stuff in the future." Source: canoe.com Quote
LPjahova808 Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Pretty cool. Hope this gets released at some point instead of never seeing the light of day like the "Head like a hole" cover Quote
maik_gianino Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Nice... Michel Buble ? super pop artist... (?) Quote
Astat Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I think this has a lot of potential. I know Michael Buble probably isn't all that popular with the LP fanbase, but if you're into classic "crooner" style singers like Frank Sinatra or Bing Crosby, Michael Buble is kind of resurrecting that style. I think he's pretty cool. Quote

RiderSSPU Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I actually like Michael Buble. This will be awesome. My 2nd favorite rapper and Michael together. Can't wait. Quote
denemy Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 MB actually used to do some rap so maybe it will be a hip hop track with him and mike doing a verse each? That would be sweet. Quote
AudioNick Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 This would be awesome. I look forward to it if it happens.. Quote
ShadowThanatos Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 This is a nice surprise. Though I don't like Michael much but he is cool anyway. Quote
Ashwhisker Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Hmmmm, this should be interesting. I don't really like Michael Buble but I'm curious to see how the collaboration will work out. Quote

I can't wait to see how this turns out. Quote
hi_c21 Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 this should be interesting. we're staring to see a lot of collaborations recently Quote

JayS Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 (edited) This may be one of the greatest things I've ever heard. I'm a huge Michael Bublé fan - this should be epic. For anybody that wants to check out a Bublé track :: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znBjTv6qz6A Edited August 5, 2010 by JaySinkie Quote
letdownagain Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I think it's pretty cool to see the range of stuff Mike is trying to do. Talent is talent outside of rock/hip-hop/pop or whatever, and I think Mike could be the next Rick Rubin. Quote
Michelbeats Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 lol! i rather see a Eminem collab! I'm not disliking Michael Bublé but his music isn't my thing, but i respect what he does! Quote

That's a good idea but it just wouldn't work. Radio hit collabs are generally a man and woman or a man and a man with an accented voice. Two solid rappers just won't sell the amount that it'd cost to make it. Edited August 5, 2010 by HybridThe0ry97 Quote
coreydimond Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 wether you love him or hate him, He is a amazing talent and this collaboration could only really be good news. Now I dont follow buble much but whatever genre of music your into, you can't ignore such talent. Nice to see two artists from different backgrounds, both oozing with talent, creating like they do best. Quote
LPPRJKT4 Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 I love Michael Buble, but I have to say this is an INSANELY random collaboration. Quote
