To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Dead By Sunrise's Out of Ashes and the release of the digital deluxe edition, LPLive sat down with Ryan Shuck and Amir Derakh of Dead By Sunrise, Julien-K, Orgy, etc to discuss the band, album, and much more.

Tune in to hear stories about recording the album with Chester, how "Let Down" was chosen for the inaugural 2005 acoustic performance on television, more about the Las Vegas 2009 show, performing in Linkin Park's encore in 2009, and a lot more.

A sincere thank you to Ryan and Amir for being so generous with your time! :)

Thank you so much for the warm and cozy interior, for saving us time and telling us about your plans and return, and for the kind stories about Sir Chester. Good luck to them in their career.

Really great job with this one. Loved how open and honest Ryan and Amir were with their thoughts. I hope some rock press pick this up and circulate it because there’s a lot of quotes about the state of LP, DBS, and all things Chester that people should hear.

Chester wanted his music to live on and I trust his best friends who by all accounts have always done right by the Chester and the fans over pissy internet “fans” and “family”who do nothing but criticize and spin everything in negative and unhealthy ways.

Thanks for making this interview happen. I really enjoyed it, and it sort of brought me back to 2009-10 which was an unforgettable period of my life, accompanied by song from Out of Ashes all the way. Ryan's words about LP's reunion were sweet, and I hope that the media picks up on them.

Just over 10 minutes in this interview - and this is such a wholesome interview! The way Ryan and Amir expressed their thoughts has been really heartfelt and moving. By all means, if any one would like to have a larger insight on what's happening all around (especially WHY Chester's music/legacy should continue by their closest friends) the answer lies in this interview. Been a fan of DBS since the release of Out of Ashes; I was one of those who discovered Julien K from PR and was blown away by their performance!! Kudos to these guys...looking forward to hearing the tracks and also seeing some more live stuff come out! Cheers to Ryan, Amir, and Anthony! Keep making music you guys!

Amir replied to my comment on IG confirming they are going to officially release the leaked demos somewhere in time. Cross fingers

Awesome, hope we get something new before 2029
