Chester feels in his element here 100%. Like, it’s a very simple song but super effective

Couldn't have said it better myself. Chester really shines and sounds so natural playing straight up rock n roll. what a legend

Did anyone notice that the word "Go!" that Chester screams in the bridge sounds almost exactly the same as one he screamed in "Blackout", specifically when he screamed it in that one LPTV episode when they are recording the song?

Chester's singing style was typical for this era.

Same person singing the same word in the same period of time (2010), kinda normal it sounds the same 😀

Virgin Radio Italy says that the reason why the song didn’t end up on Slash’s album was that Warner didn’t want such a huge collaboration to “shift” the attention from A thousand suns coming out within few months … it feels kinda weird because fans don’t act like “who cares about new LP, we have Slash and Chester” lol…

That's correct. Then they allowed Chester to appear on the Santana album that came out the same month as A Thousand Suns. lol

I was going to suggest that it was the same label but it isn't!

Different genre so not a threat?

I doubt even WB could explain their decision process. Maybe the day the Slash question arrived the decision maker's gf cheated on him so he said no to everything, took the day off and got drunk.

LMAO yes, way, way too close to it. Even if he recorded both songs during that era it's kinda suspicious. Not crazy over this dad Gen X Rock sound but each to his own.
