Tomorrow, LP will be on KTLA, a Los Angeles news network (I'm assuming). They'll be 'reminiscing about how we got our start on the Sunset Strip' tomorrow at 9:45am PST.

Greetings all LP fans,

I have come up with what I believe is a great idea in order to help ALTNC achieve radio success. I understand that this isn't for everyone, but for the fans that are into this kind of thing, like myself, this challenge is for you! I am quite a marketing buff, as I've done quite a few small things to try to get the word out on LP's new material. My plan is to get as many fans as I can to post their local radio stations, including full information on how to contact them to request ALTNC. This includes either the website of the radio station, number, or request line number. I believe that if we get enough fans, we can make a big difference. I will add more radio stations to the main post as they come in. I will begin this challenge with some radio stations that I know of. I hope this idea becomes a success, as I would love to see LP notch another #1.

I don't want to sound like "this is stupid", but i think they don't need this kind of help anymore.

But great idea anyway :)

There's no harm. A lot of radio stations won't play Linkin Park any more unless prompted. Certainly seems to be the case in Australia.

Q93 is definitely not the station to call in LA to request Linkin Park. All they play is hip-hop, r&b and .....bounce (the worst form of music ever invented).

Request Line: (504)-260-9797

Much more likely choice :)

Looks like Brad will be on Loveline tonight to talk about the upcoming MFR shows! Tune in tonight at 10PM!

EDIT: Epic fail on my part. I guess it aired last night, not tonight. My bad, sorry guys. Delete this thread. Sucks that there was such little notice. Oh well. Can't wait for the audio rip, I'm sure someone will get it.

Cool episode of Loveline, but it may have been better with Mike or someone else in the band. Lol. When I think of LP on Loveline, I don't think of Brad generally.

From altsounds.com:

Porsche Design teams up with Chester Bennington of Linkin Park to create a menswear capsule collection launching in June 2014. The 6-piece collection, titled Chester Bennington for Porsche Design, combines the lead vocalist’s eclectic alt rock style with Porsche Design’s iconic and minimalist brand aesthetic, and will retail exclusively at Porsche Design stores around the world.

“I’ve always loved fashion and had a deep appreciation for quality design,” says Chester Bennington. “The sleek approach of Porsche Design’s craftsmanship is unparalleled. This collaboration has been a dream come true, and I’m really excited to show what we’ve created together.”

“Chester is the epitome of modern rock, yet is a man of discerning taste with a strong passion for iconic design and excellent craftsmanship, two attributes that are synonymous with our brand,” says Juergen Gessler, CEO of the Porsche Design Group.

The highlight of the capsule collection will be an exclusive leather motocross jacket, made of the finest black vintage calf leather. Additional pieces of the collection Chester Bennington for Porsche Design include slim cut black coated denim, stylish boots, a sleek travel bag, sunglasses and a limited-edition T-shirt. The line will be priced between $109 and $1,950.

I got the t-shirt at the meet and greet in NYC a few months ago so I could meet Chester. I do like the design a lot, but it was really expensive. I'm sure the clothes he is releasing will look badass, but between $109-$1,950 is way out of my price range.

As I was reading the article I was thinking "I bet this shit is super expensive". lol I would have liked to buy something but yeah that's pretty steep..

Guitar Center has announce the upcoming induction of Grammy Award-winning rock band LINKIN PARK into the retailer's historic RockWalk. The private, invite-only induction ceremony is set to take place on Wednesday, June 18 at 12 noon at Guitar Center's Hollywood location on Sunset Boulevard. Adding to the celebratory nature of the day, LINKIN PARK will release its highly anticipated new album, "The Hunting Party", on June 17.

"We're honored to have our music recognized by our peers," says Chester Bennington, lead vocalist of LINKIN PARK. "But to be added to Guitar Center's RockWalk on Sunset Blvd, right where we started, is pretty surreal. We're really grateful to be here alongside so many of the artists that inspired us."
