Those scenes are not meant to glorify rape, but rape is unfortunately something that happens in real life. To ignore it and pretend like it doesn't exist and never happens is not going to help anything. Nobody said rape was "cool" though. It's not like people are saying "ooh I can't wait to see the rape scene!"
