- On the transition outro of 'Runaway', Mike rapped verse one of 'Wastelands'. Chester sang the first line of the bridge over the outro transition.

- Mike's solo portion of the show featured a 'hybrid' verse of 'Wretches And Kings', the chorus of 'Remember The Name' (by Fort Minor), and a 'hybrid' verse of 'Remember The Name'. After the 'hybrid' verse of 'Remember The Name', he went into the chorus again. The samples at the beginning of the 'Wretches and Kings' verse messed up, prompting Mike to gesture over at Tater who manages the backing tracks, and the song was restarted.

- Mike rapped the verse from 'Points Of Authority' over the extended intro of 'Until It's Gone'.

- During the bridge of 'Bleed It Out', Rob performed a drum solo before the band sang a refrain from 'The Catalyst'. For the first time, Mike and Brad started playing a chord progression based off that of 'The Catalyst' after Rob's solo.
Other Notes:
- Since this show was a part of the Minnesota State Fair, concert attendees had to pay a fair entry of $13 and doors into the fair opened at 6:00am. Along with the $13 fair entry, there was another $13 fine for parking, and, that combined with a ticket price cost over a $100 dollar investment for fans going to see Linkin Park.

- The overall production of the show had to be scaled back at this show due to the venue's limits. Because of this, the cages that would move up and down to encase Rob and Joe during their solos were not used.

- Linkin Park took the stage 25 minutes late. The show opening fireworks, etc started at the appropriate set time but the band was delayed quite a bit, likely because this was the first show for the new touring rig with new gear, etc. There was also just a 30 minute changeover before the band; Linkin Park usually requires a little longer at festival shows.

- A Portuguese flag was hung on Mike's keyboard during the show.

- Technical problems plagued the band for a second straight show, with Brad and Joe specifically having trouble during the performance.

- On the transition outro of 'Runaway', instead of rapping verse one of 'Wastelands', Mike said that he was going to skip that part of the show and threw out burned CDs to the crowd with 'Wastelands' on them.

- Mike's solo portion of the show featured a hybrid verse of 'Wretches And Kings', the chorus of 'Remember The Name' (by Fort Minor), and Mike's verse from the Nick Catchdubs remix of 'Skin To Bone'.

- Steve Aoki came out on 'A Light That Never Comes' (after watching a portion of Linkin Park's set from the side of the stage) but did not "perform" on it since he didn't have any gear set up. Before the show, Chester admitted that they didn't know Steve would be at the show until the night beforehand when they saw the festival lineup for the first time, so they didn't plan a legit collaboration with him.

- During the bridge of 'Bleed It Out', Rob performed a drum solo before the band sang a refrain from 'The Catalyst'. He broke a drumstick during the solo.

Other Notes:
- This is the first time in the band's history that they have kicked off a tour in a location that they have started a tour in before. The Living Things European Tour in May/June 2012 started at Rock In Rio Lisboa and The Hunting Party European Tour in May/June 2014 began at the festival as well. This ironically makes it two European Tours in a row that have started in Lisboa since the European Tour for fall 2012 did not end up happening. The 2008 performance at Rock In Rio didn't miss by much either, as it was just the second show of the European Tour in June 2008 after Skive Beach Party in Denmark.

- Like the 2012 show at Rock In Rio, Linkin Park had an act performing after them. Steve Aoki performed a set after the band; in 2012 it was the Smashing Pumpkins.

- A German flag was hung on Mike's keyboard during the show. It was made by Thomas Eger from BlackChester.de (German LP fansite) and featured LPLive on it as well as BCDE. It was the second Rock am Ring show (2012 and 2014) to feature both sites on a flag on stage. In 2012, the same flag was used at both Rock im Park and Rock am Ring.

- On the transition outro of 'Runaway', Mike rapped verse one of 'Wastelands'.

- Mike's solo portion of the show featured a hybrid verse of 'Wretches And Kings', the chorus of 'Remember The Name' (by Fort Minor), and verse one of 'Hands Held High'. 'Hands Held High' was done because of a request at the Meet & Greet by LPLive staff member Jonas ([AndOne]) who asked for 'Reading My Eyes'. Mike said that verse wouldn't work, but he would find something that would fit there for him. Mistakenly at the end of the medley, Mike shouted "Berlin make some noise" to the crowd.

- Chester messed up on the first verse of 'In The End'.

- During the intro of 'Bleed It Out', Mike talked about seeing footage of them playing at Rock am Ring in 2001 (earlier in the day), the first time they played the festival, and talked about it being their fifth time playing the festival. The band then had the crowd chant "Rock am Ring!". During the bridge of the song, Rob performed a drum solo before the band sang a refrain from 'The Catalyst'. Chester thanked MLK, the German promoter, for all of the successful show that Linkin Park has in Germany over the years. He hugged Andre Lieberberg, the son of Marek Lieberberg, during the song. This was all done because it was the last show at Nürburgring for Rock am Ring. After the song, Chester jumped down in between the crowd and the stage and shook hands with fans at the barricade.

Other Notes:
- A day before the show, Mike sprained his ankle. He wore a bandage throughout the entire show.

- This is the first time since 2004 Linkin Park's set at Rock am Ring was broadcasted live in full.

- Linkin Park was the second to last headliner to ever play at Nürburgring for Rock am Ring. Metallica took the honor of being the last headliner the following day on June 8th.

- This show was originally going to be Set B, but it was changed to Set A due to the filming (see Other Notes).

- A few technical problems plagued the band at this show. The bridge of 'New Divide' had some sample issues, and samples at the beginning of 'Rebellion' and end of 'Robot Boy' were also messed up.

- This is the first time the full version of 'With You' was played on The Hunting Party Tour, besides the Download Festival performance. Brad came in very late on the intro.

- The band performed a shortened version of the setlist they played for the Harman Infinity One Launch in Las Vegas, NV two days prior. 'Lost In The Echo' and 'A Light That Never Comes' were dropped.

- Chester was sick during the show and let the crowd sing large portions of 'New Divide' and 'Numb'.

- Mike rapped verse two of 'Until It Breaks' over the intro to 'Waiting For The End'.

- Ann and Nancy Wilson from Heart joined the band for 'Castle Of Glass'. This is the first time that female musicians have ever joined the Linkin Park on stage.

- Mike and Chester both sang part of the lyrics to 'Numb/Encore' over the outro of 'Numb'.

- Mike Einziger from Incubus joined the band for 'What I've Done' and 'In The End'. He had joined the band previously on the 2012 Honda Civic Tour for 'Bleed It Out'.

- Travis Barker from Blink-182 joined the band for 'Bleed It Out' and performed a dueling drum solo with Rob during the bridge. He previously joined Mike, Chester, and Steve Aoki for 'A Light That Never Comes' in November 2013.

- Mike thanked everyone who was associated with the show over the intro of 'Bleed It Out'. He thanked Stryker from KROQ, Ann and Nancy Wilson, Mike Einziger, and many others.
Other Notes:
- This show was a benefit show for the Philippines after Typhoon Haiyan devastated the country. It was announced only 30 days prior. Tickets were given to people who raised a minimum of $250 in support of the cause.

- During the soundcheck before the show, the band rehearsed 'Castle Of Glass' with Ann and Nancy Wilson numerous times. After that, Mike Einziger joined them for 'What I've Done' and 'In The End'. Travis Barker's drumset was brought out for 'Bleed It Out' but he did not appear at the soundcheck. Chester left the soundcheck very early due to being sick.

- Stryker from KROQ had a speech after the band left the stage. He thanked everyone for their work and reminded the crowd to always help others.

- Chester and Phoenix went down into the crowd after the show to meet fans, sign autographs and take pictures with people.

- The band debuted a new setlist to kick off the world tour for The Hunting Party. For the first time, the setlist was divided into three "acts" and featured several different portions of the live show, several of which included shortened song versions.

- To start the show, a new intro mashup of 'The Catalyst' and 'The Requiem' was used. It featured mostly a shortened version of the middle of 'The Catalyst' instrumentally with 'The Requiem' over it.

- 'Guilty All The Same' featured several large technical difficulties during the beginning portion of the song. Both Brad and Mike's guitars were muted at different points. There were also further technical difficulties with Brad's guitar on 'Points Of Authority', as well as difficulties with samples on several songs ('Numb', 'Until it's Gone', and 'A Light That Never Comes'.). A noteworthy subject is that this was the first show for Brad's new guitar tech, with Sean Paden (June 2003 - January 2014) leaving before the touring cycle started. Chester messed up the lyrics in the second verse of the song.

- 'Points Of Authority' featured a new, shortened intro to the song.

- This was the first time that 'One Step Closer' has been performed outside of the first three songs of the show and its other "signature" spots (end of main set and in the encore).

- 'Blackout' was played in a short instrumental form, which started "Act II" in the setlist.

- Starting with 'Papercut', quite a few songs were played in shortened forms including 'With You', 'Runaway', 'A Light That Never Comes', 'Lost In The Echo', 'Crawling', and 'New Divide'.

- Chester screamed the "c'mon" intro on 'With You' for the first time since Warsaw 2012. That show was the first time that he did it on the entire Living Things World Tour. This is the first time since March 2002 (the end of Projekt Revolution 2002) that the studio intro of 'With You' was performed. It was "Reanimated" during the entire Meteora World Tour (including Japan in 2006) and had the Ext. Scratch Intro from 2012 to early 2014.

- On the transition outro of 'Runaway', Mike rapped verse one of 'Wastelands'.

- 'Castle Of Glass' (labeled the "Experience Version") was debuted as a mashup of the album version with Mike's Recharged remix. Only the intro/first verse came from the album version before it went into the remix portion of the song.

- To start "Act III", a portion of 'Robot Boy' was performed instrumentally with the intro, the synth breakdown (extended by Mike) and the ending (including Brad on guitar). This is the first time that any portion of the song has ever been played live. When the A Thousand Suns World Tour ended in 2011, 'Robot Boy' was the first Linkin Park song off of a major album (Hybrid Theory, Meteora, Minutes To Midnight, and A Thousand Suns) to have not been performed live.

- Joe's solo portion of the show featured parts of the 'Victimized' M. Shinoda remix from Recharged, 'Session', 'Buy Myself' (Marilyn Manson Remix), 'Cure For the Itch', and 'Plc.4 Mie Haed' from Reanimation.

- Mike's solo portion of the show featured the first verse of 'Wretches And Kings', a sped up chorus of 'Remember The Name' (by Fort Minor), and Mike's verse from the 'Skin To Bone' Nick Catchdubs remix from Recharged. The instrumental of the medley incorporated part of 'Wretches And Kings', part of the 'Skin To Bone' remix, part of 'Remember The Name', and part of 'In My Remains'. The first Hip Hop Medley for Linkin Park was in 2004 with 'Step Up/Nobody's Listening/It's Goin' Down'. Joe also assisted with the Mike solo medley (the only other member of the band on stage).

- A new intro for 'Numb' came directly from the medley before it and for the first time, a part of 'Numb/Encore' started the song. 'Numb/Encore' was used for both the intro and outro of the song. Brad's guitar part during the first verse of the song also is from 'Numb/Encore'.

- Mike played guitar for the first time on 'In The End' at this show. He picked up a guitar before the bridge of the song. This is the third song to feature a change instrumentally from Hybrid Theory. Mike began playing guitar on 'One Step Closer' in 2007 and began playing keyboard on 'Runaway' in 2012.

- 'Until It's Gone' featured a new intro for the song with parts of 'The Catalyst' and 'No More Sorrow' mashed up together with parts of 'Until It's Gone'.

- A new drum outro for 'Lost In The Echo' was added to the song. This was the first performance of the song at an actual concert without the 2012 Intro that it had from Bristow 2012 (its live debut) to earlier in 2014. The Third Encore SiriusXM performance in August 2012 didn't have an intro, but it was just a rehearsal for a few lucky fan winners. Mike messed up the lyrics in the second verse.

- The tempo of 'Crawling' was sped up to fit with 'New Divide'.

- 'What I've Done' featured a new, extended bridge with a longer guitar solo by Brad.

- During the bridge of 'Bleed It Out', Rob performed a drum solo before the band sang a refrain from 'The Catalyst'.
Debut(s):
- This was the first time that 'Guilty All The Same', 'Wastelands', and 'Until It's Gone' were performed live.

- The new intro mashup debuted at this show, containing parts of 'The Catalyst, 'The Requiem', and '1stp Klosr'.

- This was the first time that 'Robot Boy' was performed. While it wasn't the full song, it was still the first time that the song has been played in any form.

- Mike and Joe got new solos. Joe's featured parts of various songs, including 'Cure For The Itch', 'Buy Myself' (Marilyn Manson Remix), 'Wretches and Kings', the 'Victimized' M. Other Notes:
- There was an incident before the Linkin Park set where Sublime With Rome accused the band (specifically Chester) of calling the police on them for smoking weed backstage. On May 27th, Mike tweeted: "LP didn't "call the cops" on @RomeMusica smoking pot. Not sure where the rumor came from. Definitely not my style, bummer it happened.", "We were at a meet & greet when Sublime was on stage, not dressing room. Wouldn't even know if there was smoke. CC: @AltPress @RomeMusica", and "If someone was "representing the band" to the cops in the venue about weed smoke, they were out of line."

- A presale for the event at local Tuscon Pizza Hut locations on April 12th featured tickets for only $35.

- An ad from KFMA incorrectly stated that the only way to meet Linkin Park at the event was to donate non-perishable food goods to the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona tent from 10:00am to 2:00pm to win a Meet And Greet pass.
