  1. When was the last time they didn't play Crawling? I can't remember :S It's a good set, but I don't like WID as a closer. I guess they're going to play the same songs plus a few more here in Chile. I'm excited, Waiting for the End and Iridescent are two amazing songs Can''t wait!
  2. Thanks for the rip guys! The songs sound amazing! Can't wait til October 9th
  3. Mr. Hahn singing just made my day! lol
  4. Agreed 10000000000% with the review. It's awesome!
  5. I'll try to predict the setlist they might play here in Santiago on October 9th. The order of the songs is really random, but here it is: 1.Session 2.Given Up 3.From the Inside 4.Somewhere I Belong 5.No More Sorrow 6.What I've Done 7.Points Of Authority 8.The Little Things Give You Away 9.Leave Out All the Rest 10.Breaking the Habit 11.Shadow Of the Day 12.One Step Closer 13.Pushing Me Away 14.Numb 15.Waiting for the End 16.Crawling 17.In the End 18.The Catalyst Encore 19.New Divide 20.Iridescent 21.Faint 22.Bleed It Out
  6. Well, I don't have much to add to the ones who have said the album is a masterpiece, and the best Linkin Pärk album to date. I love HT, but my mind was blown with this album, from beginning to end. Everytime I listen to it, I love it more and more. It's just beautiful to listen to it as a whole. The melodies are awesome, and I really appreciate the band's effort to try new things, to experiment with different song structures, and to used everything we know they can do, but in a different way this time. It worked for me. This journey has a lot of 'moments', being the highlights for me the songs Wating for the End, Iridescent, and The Messenger. I must say the climax for me was the whole band singing in Iridescent. It really gave me chills the first time I listened to it. I'm highly pleased with this album, and I can't wait to receive my preordered special edition of the album. I can't describe how excited I am, knowing that I'll be seeing them for the first time in Santiago next month!. I hope they play Waiting for the End and Iridescent, because both songs are already part of my favorite LP songs of all time.
  7. Robot Boy is my least favorite. I don't think it's a bad song though.
  8. Waiting for the End gets my vote. I also love Iridescent and The Messenger.
  9. I can't judge a song by listening to 30 sec. of it, but I like what I hear so far. I look forward to Blackout, Waiting for the End, and The Messenger. Btw, where is Rob?
  10. I had exactly the same feeling. I like the song , though.
  11. As far as I know, 'A Thousand Suns: The Full Experience' is the whole album in one single track, which is the 'journey' the band wants the listener to experience. The DVD is called 'Meeting A Thousand Suns'.

  13. The song is great. The beat is amazing, and the sound is really catchy. I love Chester's vocals in this song. However, I felt (or wanted) like something was about to happen towards the end; a bridge, another chorus, or something unexpected, but it just ends with the speech and the 'hey hey' chant. That makes it a bit repetitive, and monotonous. Anyway, I'd give it a 8/10.
  14. Hahahaha great! Brad speaking in Spanish is funny! Although I'm a spanish speaker, I can't get a lot of the stuff he says. "El gobierno está buscando (something else I can't get) toda la gente, escuchénme ahora escuchénme todos escuchénme preste atención (something else I can't get) ahora mismo (or ahora es tiempo) preste atención obedezcan necesitan obedecer (something else I can't get) momento oficial -> not sure estoy alertando a estar seguros' " <- not sure about this Translation would be: Government is searching (something else I can't get) All the people, listen to me now everyone listen to me listen to me pay attention (something else I can't get) pay atenttion right now (or 'now it's time) obey you need to obey (something else I can't get) official moment I'm warning you to be safe " But still, a lot of noise makes it difficult to understand.
  15. MTV has just posted an article/review for A Thousand Suns. If you want to continue reading, go to http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1646930/2...831/story.jhtml It may contain spoilers.
  16. Ben Jones of U.K.'s Absolute Radio recently conducted an interview with Mike Shinoda. You can watch the 23 minutes long chat below: Really interesting.
  17. Ehhh... no. As I said before, Linkin Park are scheduled to play 1 hour and a half here in Chile. I personally believe they're not going to play a lot ATS stuff. You may say 'It's ridiculous; they're releasing a new album and they need to promote it!''. Yes, that's true, but it is also the FIRST time ever they'll be playing here (same for Argentina, and the first time in 6 years for Brazil), so I expect them to play the 'hits' (you have to consider that at least in Chile and Brazil, they will play HUGE festivals) and probably The Catalyst and some other song off ATS. I'm expecting a similar setlist to the one they played last year, and instead of the 3 DBS songs, I'd add three ATS songs, and that's it.
  18. Well, at least here in Chile, the band is confirmed to be playing from 21:30 PM to 23:00 PM, which the typical LP set (1 hour and a half). I'm happy with that.
  19. Great! This is going to be awesome. BTW, will BlackChester post his review of "A Thousand Suns"? I'd love to read what he thought about it.
  20. It's not my favorite LP song ever, but I like the song. I love the synth sound which a lot of people seem to hate, but I really don't like the electronic drums. I wish they had played real drums throughout the whole song. The end is great. I would like to see how they're going to perform this song live. I give this song 6/10. If this is one of the weakest tracks on the album, or THE weakest track, I'll be very satisfied. Can't wait til the album arrives.
  21. Check your mail Mark; I've just sent you a scan of my ticket (Maquinaria Festival, Chile).
  22. Yes, it's just hard for Linkin Park. lol See Limp Bizkit schedule for their first South and Central America tour: October 2010 * 14 San José, Costa Rica * 16 Panamá, Panamá * 20 Bogotá, Colombia * 22 Sao Paulo, Brasil * 24 Rio de Janeiro, Brasil * 26 Buenos Aires, Argentina * 28 Santiago, Chile * 30 Asunción, Paraguay November 2010 * 2 Lima, Perú * 4 Quito, Ecuador * 6 Caracas, Venezuela
  23. Great The more shows in South America, the better You're lucky, fans from Argentina; it seems like they'll be playing their own show there and not a festival like Maquinaria here in Chile, and SWU in Brazil. We can proudly say that this is LP's First South American tour EVER! We, the fans from South America, need to show them that we know how to rock! They need to come back
  24. I've just preordered my CD/DVD set!
