  1. Yes, it is currently online still. I'm not sure if we're allowed to say what site, but it's out there.
  2. Wow thanks for the tip, I'm doing the same! EDIT: I'm not sure that's how it works actually, the info seems sort of incomplete. The picture is the super deluxe, but it says 1 disc, has an option to go with CD instead, etc. I'm not feeling confident that it's the boxset...
  3. Man, I guess I'm going to pull the trigger on the big set but I really wish there was just the 5 CD collection subset of merch. Also, do we know if High Voltage/My December are here? I'm guessing they're on LPU rarities? It would be funny and tragic if they're nowhere to be found among all these songs.
  4. Can someone break down the track list on all the discs/vinyls? I'm so confused lol. Mainly, I'm not sure what's on the "LPU rarities" and what's on the HT EP. I'm guessing HT EP is all the stuff we've seen on Mike's computer and on the campaign, and LPU rarities are other songs like Step Up, So Far Away, etc.?
  5. No it wasn't hard to figure out lol. But we were slightly biased having seen the tracks when Mike accidentally shared them anyways. But yeah, it's crazy how people are like "are they gonna announce a new singer?" and all these wild guesses.
  6. That's why I'm thinking we'll definitely get that, or POA, during the promotion for the release for sure. Fan favorites that everyone can enjoy hearing some new verses to.
  7. I'm thinking they just renamed it to indicate that the in yourself jam was a short "edit" of the full song. But that we're not actually going to get an edited file of it. Also, just heard the song. Definitely sounds real, definitely sounds like Mike, Mark, Joe's scratching. Sweet! Also some of the grooviest bass I think I've heard on an LP song
  8. Agreed. I'm thinking they'll release something hardcore fans already know but is a totally new song to casual fans, like Carousel. And then they'll probably release whatever versions of Points of Authority, Essaul, etc. on the way to the release date to keep the general audience who knows the real versions of those songs intrigued. I'm curious if it will actually be on Spotify though or just a download or YouTube video. I hope it's an all-out disc + streaming + vinyl etc.
  9. I was hoping for the same. But also, I'm guessing that the song is a lot more than the short jam they played live, vocals and all. At least I'm hoping so. So it's not like we really already have the song. And that would make sense as to why the file in that folder is another "edit" of the song.
  10. I think if Hybrid Theory is part of the release it will most certainly be the edition with high voltage/my december. One thing I'd love is for them to have it where the transition between high voltage and cure for the itch happens as originally planned. Also, it's got me wondering if there will be some live recordings included as well, especially stuff that might be lesser-known by casual fans like Pushing Me Away on piano, My December live, etc.
  11. Idk how to drop this in but here's today's finding in meme form: https://imgur.com/gallery/71Gmx0q But actually, it would be super dope if it wasn't the case and they're just doing this as a tease
  12. Agreed. I'm kinda bugged that some of the songs aren't making it. Maybe these songs are all the ones that the band actually liked at some point trying to get the record deal for Hybrid Theory though, and those other songs weren't? We know So Far Away wasn't really on any of the discs that have been leaked for example. Maybe they never really took that song's potential seriously so they aren't releasing it here.
  13. So we now likely have the full list of songs. 3 that we've potentially never heard in any form, and hopefully some cleaned up versions of others we have (I really want She Couldn't to get a nice cleanup to make it a little less muddy). Hopefully we get some previews soon!
  14. Honestly just releasing the album on Spotify with the "missing" tracks would be dope af for that anniversary. I'm sure all the casual LP fans who are big enough fans to have listened to the whole album would love to hear No Roads Left, Chance of Rain, QWERTY etc. for the first time. They're all great and as much as I appreciate the desire to edit down the album to the absolute best songs, Chance of Rain and QWERTY would add a ton of color and variety to the album imo.
  15. I'm doubtful they would really touch the actual Hybrid Theory tracks though. The EP songs need some remastering and that's why we've seen that Mike is reviewing those masters. But I'm very doubtful he'd want HT itself to be remastered. I'm guessing it'll just be called "Hybrid Theory 20th anniversary edition" or something with all the EP stuff on a b-side.
  16. Yeah, and even then, the names we don't know could be just new demo names to tracks we've heard like So Far Away, High Voltage, etc. Best case is the tracks we've heard have a new mix and master though. Maybe even new guitar/bass and such. She Couldn't could use some modern cleaning
  17. Yeah if the username is also supposed to be something else, that's gonna make it a lot harder. We'll see. I don't doubt you. I wonder if Adam realizes that the password is literally impossible to get today though, versus just being sure that we most likely won't get it for a few days because it's something impossible to guess and implemented in a way that we won't get to type it until then.
  18. Well, Adam just confirmed on twitter that there is a real password when asked "is there a real password or do we have to wait". So I'm guessing that it's something really hard, and that we'll need the hints that are to be released by the day to get it. And that they just happened to make the password acceptance work later as well.
  19. So the current password field is basically gonna be invisibly changed to become active? That's a pretty crazy step to make sure no one types in the correct password lol. It must be something hard to guess, otherwise people would be guessing it now, getting it wrong, and then confused to find out why it works on Day 3. Which makes me wonder why they're going through the step you describe. Technically, we could use something like burpsuite to manually send a value for "day3-nuo" and start getting a response right? Although if there are other time variables in there that keep it from loading what it should it might not work. But we can definitely inject that password even if the current password field is dead I'd think (this is starting to get into straight up penetration testing stuff lol).
  20. So, what is that username and password?
  21. So far I'm liking vol 2 a lot more than 1! I don't follow every stream, does he talk about how he put these together? In terms of which ones he's picked? Is he trying not to put up ones where he was asked to sound like certain artists like Panic at the Disco? Some of those are my favs
  22. Oh yeah certainly. Thinking about this stuff is what is probably gonna keep me from ever having a child lol. How crazy it is to think that little comments and actions might shape huge moments in their future for better or worse. When you really feel the weight of that every moment becomes so much more like walking on egg shells.
  23. I'm a big fan of listening to philosophical podcasts and talks. I like listening to topics that, generally, have no bearing on day-to-day life such as whether free will really exists, how much of what we are comes from genetics, how parents can treat two children slightly differently and how that can have huge outcomes in how different they are, etc. Causality stuff. Usually, none of this helps me think through most things I care about. It's just fun thought experiments. But with suicide, and the natural tendency to endlessly ponder over what events caused it, I find that it does. Because the truth is, every single moment before someone takes their own life has, in some way, led to that moment. Yes, it still makes sense to talk about some events helping someone step away from suicide, and some events not weighing on a person as much as one might think, and some events weighing on someone more than we could ever have known. But imo, the lesson is just that it's not really meaningful discussion to deliberate it. Because we'll never know to what extent everything weighed on him. His breakfast that morning could have more weight than we'd ever know. Conversations overheard on a plane ride, a tweet that had absolutely nothing to do with Linkin Park but was full of hate, an interaction with a bad customer service worker, etc. There are likely even genetic reasons why someone is more likely to fall into depression than others. The only thing we can do is acknowledge that it happened and resolve to be kind, knowing that our reception to someone's art might have a profound effect on them, as well as our simple interactions with strangers in seemingly insignificant moments. And on that note, to add to a comment above, lists of "worst albums" and such maybe shouldn't even exist. I mean, what good does that do the world? Maybe calling it the "worst" just to get clicks, but then offering constructive criticism and adding disclaimers that it's all your opinion...ok. But really, suicide should just teach you that outward unproductive negativity has no place in the world.
  24. I thought that was the best part. A nice bit of color and feels like a vocal type that I haven't really heard Mike work with before.
  25. Yeah I was relieved haha. Honestly it's a strange thing to listen to knowing that the people on this track are fans, but honestly this is the kinda stuff I wanna hear Mike do regarding guests. He's an amazing writer/producer and his voice can only do so much. Collaborating with a variety of voices like these can only be good imo, even with regards to an LP album if we ever get there.
