  1. I didn't think Castle of Glass would ever leave the set, it feels like WFTE in that it's a unique song that Mike is proud of and is popular enough to warrant the variety Maybe it's not popular in the region? I wonder if they've ever pulled data about certain singles not being popular in certain areas to determine setlists at all
  2. So much teasing, and the deliberately blurred computer screen too. Hopefully this year we get LPU demos, a demo version of TEM and such would be the perfect way to reignite those songs a bit and get it to the billion stream mark
  3. At least Second To None got into Transformers, I probably would not know it without that.
  4. Did not know! I love still finding stuff like this The album is incredible, I'm sure the most interesting stuff though is probably any tracks between now and back then that Mike considered for a follow-up. Like those that we had heard about around Welcome and stuff we've seen like I.O.U.
  5. Ballad Medley is one of my favorite things they've ever done live lol, imo much more interesting than just Iridescent. Super cool way to get 3 choruses people love into one coherent experience.
  6. IMO they should just change GTG to acoustic or something like Lost or Crawling 2017, let her sing it in a super comfortable key and don't try to make it powerful, cut the rap, etc. It's a great song that could easily carry over into something beatiful and it doesn't work super well trying to be replicated live rn
  7. I wonder if we'll get the instrumental/acapella of the deluxe tracks, LYF instrumental is here
  8. I often think that Mike overdoes the harmonies live, but here they really come off well, and his singing in the verses sounds better live than I thought they would too This is overall actually so much better than I ever imagined this song sounding live
  9. Anytime we get a clean recording of the faint outro it's a win I kinda wish Emily locked in for the HITC scream here tho
  10. With all the 2026 dates, maybe they don't wanna release the whole show in digital form just yet. Videos like this keep people wanting to come without giving away every moment But yeah I'm certainly eager to get a proper release of so much, like the 2017 LOATR, there WYG/WFTE combo etc.
  11. Oh I want them to record these so badly
  12. We already know GTG has a few other singers. I wonder if Friendly Fire, Tidal Wave, Ricochet and other OML stuff ever got considered or reworked like OEO did. Also curious if In My Head or any MS stuff was ever shaping up in LP style
  13. Like others say, I don't think the count is evidence of that, but it does seem clear that IGYEIH and Casualty came together late after Brad said the whole "let's make something heavier" comment. I do wish they showed more of that side of the creative process and not just tracking instruments. I wanna see them talking about what songs work together, what to cut, what sounds are missing to make the album feel whatever way etc.
  14. I must've missed that, don't they call it Villain? Maybe Two Faced is called Plaster 3
  15. Always cool to see whatever BTS we can get I really wish though that these focused more on the “why” of the songs. Like we heard this demo got started super late in the process, I wanna know why they thought they needed it, what sound they were trying to fill out etc.
  16. Holy hell Ziiggurats yes! That EP is so underrated!
  17. I think it's just some light EQ and mastering of the song for the context of the video editing to get the crowd noise in there cleanly and such, not a different source
  18. The Moscow intro feels weird to me and doesn’t really fit, I wonder if it’s just to kinda fill time I have to admit it’s my least fav song besides Unshatter, but it was more fun live than I expected kinda weird they took one where Mike messes up the verse lol I really want some pro shots of stuff like Catalyst and WFTE from this era!
  19. Mike doesn't want to seem stuck in the past and he has a very mature way of looking at music. He wants fans to gain that maturity, you can see it all the way back in LT interviews when he talks about incorporating folk influences and hoping fans can embrace the variety, or when feeling proud of the double meaning behind UIG They're asking him if it's about Chester and he's saying no, I don't really see what else he'd say besides "I don't wanna say" which is basically the same
  20. 3 Meteora songs in a row is really surprising. The band used to be obsessed with making sure every album got its fair share with stuff like the NMS/Catalyst/UIG/ALTNC mashup, Blackout/Papercut, Runaway/Wastelands etc. There's still lots of mixing albums together but I'm surprised something like 3 M songs in a row would happen bc of that, and that OML still has 0 representation
  21. It feels like there’s always one kinda mysterious song that is also super interesting that the band never talks about. Skin to bone, mark the graves, halfway right and now stained Also they all have a similar spot in the tracklist! I still love these episodes but it’s weird how all over the place they are lol. No studio footage for this one, no other discussions about the songs place etc
  22. Yeah kinda feels like from this that it was just Mike and Brad being like "we need a song that calls back to HT/M for the comeback" and they whipped it up rather quickly. The way Emily asks what part is the bridge reinforces that. Maybe guitar/bass/scratches were just filled in after those two basically did all of it and everyone agreed it was worthwhile. I would've liked to see the actual conversations about returning to this sound in such a committed way, it still blows my mind how it sounds right at home from that era. Also kinda funny Mike calls out the two minute song then when OEO and a lot of OML is optimized for length too
  23. I feel like a big rap track like WTCFM or IOU is a given for the next album, but other than that I’ve honestly got no predictions. Probably a super soft track thrown in? I feel like Overflow and Already Over Nothings There kinda came from the same place, and that there must be more material of that style sitting around. I’d personally love a lot more atmospheric stuff like that on LP9 I also want the ideas explored during LT to come back like Three Band Terror or Animals
  24. oh I agree, I just think it’s a little funny to hear them praise him in this light when the big comeback album feels pretty far from hip hop compared to a lot of the other albums. Like the opening would have felt a lot more natural to me if he had a Wretches and Kings type track on FZ rather than the reality of there not being a ton of hip hop beats on the album
