  1. The proposition is definitely intriguing. Allow me to consult with my colleagues on the matter of my 'sass level' to see if I warrant the legendary name of "CASTLE OF SASS" EDIT: After a rather lengthy discussion with my associates, we have determined that my level is sass is appropriate for the name change to "CASTLE OF SASS" from this point onwards. In simpler terms, NAME CHANGE MOFOS!
  2. Ah, ok. My name is COG, but I can totally see how you made that mistake. No sarcasm.
  3. Why? POA was played at every show there. The only set it wasn't in was Set C, and that was only played a few times.
  4. Some sets I threw together. Not my best, but I'm tired, bored, and relatively upset, so why the fuck not, right?
  5. Why is POA on this list? It was played in pretty much every show (if I'm not mistaken) during the LT era.
  6. Top 10 has changed again: 1. CASTLE OF GLASS 2. Iridescent 3. I'LL BE GONE 4. The Little Things Give You Away 5. Leave Out All The Rest 6. Burning In The Skies 7. Breaking The Habit 8. Waiting For The End 9. When They Come For Me 10. Until It's Gone
  7. I'm pretty sure it was Berlin. I know ATS+ was Madrid.
  8. That's such bullshit. Why the fuck is the DVD European exclusive?
  9. I feel SOTD has better lyrics, but I'm not denying LFY being a good song. It's my second favorite on Meteora, but SOTD has more meaning to me lyrically. To each their own, I guess.
  10. I'll stand in the minority and say I like this song more than GATS, just barely.
  11. That's the attitude of a lot of people, sadly.
  12. …what? SOTD is miles and miles ahead of LFY lyrically.
  13. So, is it safe to assume pre-orders happen tonight?
  14. I wouldn't complain if that were the case. I feel I should post my review of the song: To start off, if you were expecting another song as heavy as Guilty All The Same, don't even bother. This song is nowhere near as heavy, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. This track reassures some concerns I had that this new album would be nothing but heavy songs made just to be heavy. The instrumental, while not being heavy, is probably the most atmospheric and ambient since A Thousand Suns days. The synth blends really well with the more natural instruments, instead of overpowering them. All in all, Linkin Park have yet again showed how they learn and improve upon themselves. Chester's vocals are very different from the previous single, and in a good way. It progresses instead of staying the same throughout, and that really saves the chorus. It goes from a quiet, but emotional, whisper to a cleaner vocal to a signature raspy Chester scream at the end. It adds to the overall feel and gives it an extra punch. Everything is pretty good so far, but the lyrics are this song's weakest point. The cliche of "You don't know what you've got until it's gone" is the primary source for the lyrical content, and that brings it down a bit. The verses are pretty good for a Linkin Park single, and amplify the effect of the cliche, but the chorus is incredibly repetitive lyrically. Chester's delivery saves it a little, but on paper, the lyrics are very bland. All in all, the track is far from bad. I personally enjoyed it a lot, but that's because I could connect with the lyrics very well at this point of my life. It may vary for you. Instrumentation - 10/10 Vocals - 9/10 Lyrics - 6/10 Overall: 8.5/10
  15. There are a few songs on HT and Meteora that have good lyrics (BTH being the prime example), but the majority of those tracks have very poor lyrics.
  16. Ok. I did it. The lyrics are far from bad. HT and Meteora had far worse lyrics on the majority of their songs.
  17. I don't understand why a lot of you are shitting on the track. It was much better than I expected. It wasn't as heavy as GATS, but we knew it wouldn't be. It isn't much worse lyrically than a lot of other LP songs, and Chester's vocals definitely keep the "repetitive" lyrics from getting old. The instrumental is also great. It's not their best song by any means, but I like it a lot.
  18. It's 7:30 BST, not GMT. Adam corrected himself on like page 2
  19. It doesn't matter to me, I'll be at school when it happens by me, so I'll just listen to it on YouTube (assuming someone records it) or buy it on iTunes.
  20. Holy. Fucking. Balls. Tomorrow can't come fast enough.
  21. As poorly as it sounds, the band enjoys playing it, which is more than I can say for some songs that sound better.
  22. Agreed. I don't think I've ever dismissed an artist because they play a certain genre, and people who do are missing out on some great music.
  23. I included By Myself as I intended for it to be kept AFTER Download. I know it'll be played, but it should stay in at least one set post-Europe.
  24. Songs We Need To See More Of: Like Geki and Joe said, high energy shit. Songs The Band Has Been Nailing Live: Papercut, OSC, WY, POA, APFMH, LFY, WID (sometimes), WTCFM, LITE, LGM, COG Songs That Should Admittedly Take A Break: Numb, ND, Ballad Medley, Catalyst, GU, Faint, BID, BIO Songs That Would Be Welcomed Back: Reading My Eyes, And One, High Voltage, By Myself, P5hng Me Aw*y, Figure .09, From The Inside, No More Sorrow, Blackout, Wretches and Kings
  25. W&K and IBG (Remix) are definitely promo singles, and I would add them both under streaming. I'm not sure a about Primo.
