If they're used properly, I don't find swearing lazy. Just randomly dropping a fuck or shit is, but if flows well with the rest of the track, I prefer swearing.

Agreed, which is why I'm saying now is the time to start talking about the other tracks, seeing as they're probably done, at least most of them.

GATS is really good, probably my favorite lead single the band has released, but the band knows there are more songs on the album (I'd hope) so why not show some of them off? This is a great chance to release UIG and start promoting and showcasing some of the other tracks on the record.

So glad my testing ended last Friday. I've got nothing important that I should get a ton of sleep for tomorrow, so I'm good to stay up late. Sorry Søuł, that sucks.

Admittedly, I was hoping GATS would open the album. I also preferred 'Warrior' and 'Wastelands of Today' over 'War' and 'Wastelands'

I meant a little of both, for Chester at least. I can't speak for Mike or the rest of the band, and neither can Chester, but it seems he (and Mike based on recent interviews) isn't too big on making the generic, radio friendly songs anymore. I mean moreso than what's usual for LP (Numb, In The End, What I've Done, Shadow Of The Day, New Divide etc.). Those are their biggest hits for a reason. I also thought Chester was hinting that he is getting tired of playing the songs that haven't been dropped in years, like Numb, What I've Done, New Divide, Faint etc. I didn't mean that he's tired of playing slow stuff, but that he's tired of playing the same songs over and over again.

He did say that, but I also thought he said that when they play those songs live, they just kind of stand there and perform. That's why the made LIVING THINGS. Maybe it was just my interpretation that was off.

Good interview. Not exactly news that Chester is relatively bored singing songs like Numb, but this is the first time he's publicly stated it, right? Or one of the first times.

The last two lines are good (meaning decent enough to work), but those first two could be so much fucking better. We know what Mike is capable of, there's no reason he couldn't have thought of something that isn't repeating the same line three times in a row.

Clearly fake. No mention of two of the actual confirmed guests, but mentions an unconfirmed and potentially fake guest? 10 tracks while the management is only doing listening sessions with 5? Fake. That's not to say the track names aren't legit, but the CD itself is. Also, like AndOne said, "For Promotional Use Only" makes no fucking sense on these types of CDs.

I'd guess we'll get pre-order info sometime this week or next week. I wonder if they'll actually release a Making Of DVD with this one.
