  1. Wow this thread has come a long way since I posted haha. Honestly I could care less if the next album was Nu-Metal or not. I really just want some hard guitars that I can rock out to! Thats what got me into LP, just come home after a hard day and just rock out. Simple. For me personally ATS didn't have that effect and probably one of the biggest letdowns in music for me. I know it's a good album and everything, I get it rammed down my throat on every forum I go to that i'm a Nu-Metal fanboy( FIGURE .09 for the win!), whoop-de-do. I just missed the excitement of a new LP album with ATS. I became a fan with Hybrid Theory like most LP fans and when the single 'Somewhere I Belong' popped up it was so awesome. I wore that single OUT! My interest with LP peaked around the time QWERTY was unveiled, I nearly ripped my computer apart trying to get someone to send me the leak of LPU6 to hear the studio version and boy was it sweet, still today it's my favorite song. Then Minutes to Midnight rolled around. A 30 second clip of 'What I've Done' popped out on LP.com or something and I was confused. The sound had changed from what I was used to. But when the full song was unveiled I loved it! And like SWIB wore it out on my iPod, but i'll never forget hearing the clips for Given Up. Man what power! Simple but gripping. Minutes to Midnight changed the game but stayed Rock enough to where I enjoyed the whole album it had a good balance, yet it got hate. Poor thing. Then came the announcements for A Thousand Suns. I was ready, this was going to be the best yet! The remix competition started and I listened to the files. Mmmmk. What the heck was that? I hope those files are some kind of distorted 'thing' for the competition only. But the single was released and I was kind of bummed. Then the album. None of it appealed to me, even my friends who have been LP fans like me were like 'dude what the fuck is this?!' I'll admit I had a phase with Wretches and Waiting for the End. I am looking forward to the next album though! I will always be an LP fan regardless of what happens. Just wishing for some rock!
  2. He changed the a lot of people's way of living in a way. The man was awesome. R.I.P Steve Jobs
  3. Haha after all we have gotten on this site, i feel I owe him some haha
  4. Just donated $10! I've been on this site so long, so even though im kinda short on money I can spare the 10 dollars. Hope it helps.
  5. I agree with his post, besides Meteora. Because that album kicks so much ass (in my opinion of course, most of the LP community seems to hate it). ATS just wasn't my thing i guess you could say. Waiting for the End and Wretches are the only songs I can listen to without hitting skip. I dont mind when bands change sound, but when its something completely different like I feel ATS is, it just didn't feel right. Despite my dislike of ATS I will always appreciate their creativity. They took a risk and really didn't give a shit. They will always be my favorite band and I'll probably pick up whatever they make. And I see that someone posted about Evanescence, RHCP, and Blink 182 sounding the same. Uh it doesn't matter when its good music and fun to listen to. I'm currently listening to Blink's album and its awesome. Just my 2 cents
  6. Haha! Would totally buy this game. Needs to happen, it would kick Guitar hero's ass! Anywho, cool picture definatelyyy early early days. It would be cool to see more like these.
  7. Whats the hate on hybrid theory and meteora, I dont get it.
  8. That's true, didnt think about that!
  9. I don't like how Brad says he's playing less guitar. Really dissapoints me, LP with guitar just fits I'm tired of this new LP with an overabundance of electronica. Take a new direction but rock it out man! That's what made me an LP fan.
  10. Maybe if we annoy them enough QWERTY could make an appearance. My friend asked them at the Chicago summit, and Chester was immediately like no, 99.5% chance we will never play it again. While Mike and Brad looked excited haha.
  11. I'll probably get hate, but I'd love it. Especially if it was done right, like what leftshoe said some more complex rapping by Mike, FM Style. Would be pretty sick.
  12. i'm curious to what they put on LPU11. I know it wont happen but a 7 track disk with demos all with vocals would be awesome. Kind of like getting a Linkin Park EP. I'm more into the old demos they show off since i'm kind of more a pre ATS fan. And QWERTY will always be one of my favorite demos/songs ever. When that came out in studio form on LPU6 I almost blew up, the energy was crazy on it.
  13. Looking forward to it! And some more rock feeling tunes this time! ATS just didn't cut it for me.
  14. I've been gone all day haha. I have no idea what this is...
  15. Cool interview! That went way deep, probably the first interview I read all the way through haha. It always worries me when Chester says he doesn't want to scream. I guess its the fact I feel like that's just him. At concerts when he yells its just like holy crap thats awesome. But I also realize he has an amazing voice.
  16. chester is kicking some ass. This is why I love Hybrid Theory and Meteora
  17. Just got off work, how do I get to the skype chat? I entered that little thing in my adress bar and get page not found.
  18. Just found out I work till 5 tomorrow and have to miss it, i may download the app on my phone and sneak watch it. Hope the surprise is good, but with LP I haven come not to get my hopes up. My ultimate dream would be a new song and it actually be heavy haha. But thats quite a long shot for both of those to happen probably. At least a return for Fig .09 or QWERTY or sommmmething like that.
  19. I put for artists to collab with: Skillet, Three Days Grace, and Papa Roach. Songs: APFMH, Fig .09, and Faint. I kinda like this survey it was cool, but I dont really think fans should change their direction. Maybe impact it a little bit. But I do hope they could bring Figure .09 live. Damn i'd be happy. I'm more of a old LP fan than New.
