  1. Why is the screen dark, during the extended outro of Figure 09 in Camden 2004?
  2. Unbelievable, LP showed us something more than GATS before releasing THP. Amazing trailer.
  3. Ok, this is what I think should be added Carousel HT 8 track - Contains static/distortion, Very similar mix to HT 7 track version but not sure it's same, Different vocal take (Chester, not sure about Mike) than in original HT EP version Carousel HT 9 track - Different vocal take (Chester, not sure about Mike) than in HT EP, different mix Carousel HT 7 track - Different vocal take (Chester, not sure about Mike) than in HT EP, different mix Part Of Me HT 8 track - Second half of the verse is double rapping (2 mike voices rapping), Contains "Cut myself free" scream in pre-chorus/chorus interlude, "Freedom can be frightening, if you never felt it" is whispered, Different vocal take both Chester and Mike, The second part of the bridge is different vocally and progresses differently (instrumentally) into chorus, Different last chorus, Different mix, Contains distortion/static Part Of Me HT 9 track - Contains "Cut myself free" scream in pre-chorus/chorus interlude, Different vocal take both Chester and Mike, Different vocal take of Mike than in HT 8 & 7 track version, The second part of the bridge is different vocally and progresses differently (instrumentally) into chorus, Doesn't contain Mikes vocals in the first part of the bridge, Different last chorus, Different mix Part Of Me HT 7 track - Second half of the verse is double rapping (2 mike voices rapping), Contains "Cut myself free" scream in pre-chorus/chorus interlude, "Freedom can be frightening, if you never felt it" is whispered, Different vocal take both Chester and Mike, The second part of the bridge is different vocally and progresses differently (instrumentally) into chorus, Different last chorus, Very similar mix to HT 8 track version but not sure it is same I will add more later
  4. In my opinion some song differences on COG's list should be described more accurate.
  5. I'm glad that LP isn't official TF4 band, now they can't be called "transformers band". But I don't deny they won't have a track on TF4.
  6. I would say that it depends, on the setlist, performance etc. I really like all songs (not the instrumentals) live from ATS. The Catalyst sucks when the vocal effects are added, without them the song sounds beautiful. ATS songs live do not sound good if there's too much of them in the set, like there was in 2010 and 2011. Another important factor is the place in the setlist, I wouldn't put WFTE before OSC, but before Numb it's ok.
  7. Pretty much agree with the list, maybe not that much with WFTE, it could be replaced by GU or something, but then the whole list would contain only heavy songs. So actually pretty good you kept WFTE on the list. What I would definitely change with the list is the order, 1.Papercut 2.OSC 3.LITE 4.WY 5.WFTE
  8. There's a demo of When They Come For Me with screaming and different mix
  9. Looks like it's big variety of the length, shortest is 1 min and longest 6,5 min, seems exciting, I won't look at the list anymore before listening the album, so I forget it when I listen to it.
  10. I would rather like them to play And One than High Voltage
  11. I would save APFMH for songs band have been nailing live. I think POA shouldn't be on that list, it's performed on almost every show. I think this list should contain songs that haven't been performed at least on the last few tours.
  12. That "rotate" idea is very good, LP should use it, they use to have only 3 variations of setlists during lately, if each variation would have more variations then it would be amazing, usually their setlists are predictable after first few shows.
  13. Some people like it some don't, and we discuss it, that's what forums like that are for. If everyone would say "I like it" or "I don't like it", without discussing it, the topic would be dead after 1 hour after the premiere, and it would be boring. You know you don't need to read that you don't like? so let people criticize as much as they want, because that's what forums are partially for.
  14. Looks like we have different definition of metal
  15. UIG in THP seems to be pretty much like ITE in HT, ITE was the second softest song of HT, but still a bit heavy, I think UIG is pretty much alike. We expect it because it's been said it's gonna be really heavy. "LP have never made anything that sounds like metal", looks like you don't even know what metal is. The next song is called Rebellion, and it features Daron Malakian from System Of A Down, I guess that's why.
  16. Both UIG and SOAD have very simple lyrics, but very meaningful and emotional at the same time. Some say LP do not put enough effort to write the lyrics, well, try to write such a meaningful lyrics with so much simplicity, that's poems.
  17. I think the lyrics are good and meaning full, it kind of reminds me of Shadow Of The Day. I predict that after this song there will be a heavy track on the album.
  18. Love it! very atmospheric, epic synth, bridge rocks, expected it to be a bit heavier, the screams at the end are a bit weak. I hope this song is the most radio friendly of whole THP, I want an agressive and heavy record from LP.
  19. Well I thought that they don't use the 7th string since they use a 6 string guitar to play those songs on most of the live performances. Do they tune down a regular 6 string guitar then? "7 strings were very much "in vogue" in the late 90s" I would say that they weren't that much "in vogue" as they were responsible for the nu-metal sound.
  20. There's no LP song that uses the 7th string of the guitar, my question is why did they use a 7 string guitar to record Runaway and With You, and some live shows ?
  21. I'm not going to listen to the snippet anymore before the premiere, so I forget it and feel like I hear the song for the first time during the premiere. To let me forget about the snippet easier, I will listen to an old LP album, that I don't quite remember.
  22. Woow, I got goosebumps, amazing, can't fucking wait. Now with a little criticism: I'm a little bit disappointed that they showed this snippet today, I would probably piss in my pants tomorrow from my excitement. I remember when I listened to GATS for the first time, my heart beat so fast, I became sweat etc. The screams doesn't sound that good, but still great. Electronics sound awesome, guitar is little audible, but sounds good, and drums sound ok, but nothing special. I think the part that is played in the snippet is the end of the chorus.
