I remember noticing this back in 2009, but I don't think it was ever properly discussed. The mp3 of DBS performing "Crawl Back In" in Knebworth that was sent via email to subscribers of some website (don't remember what it was) seems like a different performance than what you can hear in the proshot video from the same show. The are very similar, but some parts like "I wanna crawl back In" line right before the guitar solo are COMPLETELY different. Can anyone AB that mp3, the proshot video and DSPs to figure out what exactly is going on? EDIT: After a very quick check, it seems like that site (I believe it was the official Sonisphere website) released the recording from Ferropolis for some reason. Also, if you AB that mp3 and DSP recording from Ferropolis you'll notice that this "fake" Knebworth recording is actually a little rawer, because you can hear a really minor vocal fix in the Ferropolis DSP version of the song.

I agree. I realize all of the flaws of this mix, but I'd prefer all of the Linkin Park mixes to be like this, than listening to any Pooch stuff anymore. He is a nice guy and professional, but has a REALLY bad taste.

I don't think I've ever heard a bad live version of Out Of Time. And I like Black Heart live, but hate the studio version. Not sure how you can tell that from the videos I posted. You almost can't hear Chester in OOT video at all.

While I agree on the majority of the picks on this thread, I feel like I need to say, that Chester stepped up a little bit in comparison to the last few years. And he REALLY surprised me singing every song on every STP show without any obvious issues. Seriously, I can think of only one or two times when his voice cracked during STP performance. To a certain degree, STP songs are not as demanding as Linkin Park's, because there's not as much extreme notes and zero screaming, but they heavily rely on melodic singing and there's a lot of little nuances and switches before higher and lower register that not every singer can handle with ease. Plus, I think Chester sounds better when he sings a little bit lower, even though it's not entirely natural for him. I think some parts in LP songs would sound better if Chester will try to sing them a little bit lower.
