Can't post this on social media because Vorterix followed us: if you download the Vorterix app onto your phone (the purple one) you can watch the stream from there. -
This is more concerning the positions/song selection, extensions are just a bonus or little extra fun.

I don't understand how you could've thought that was real... the text is blurrier than the rest of the picture lmao. LP doesn't format written sets like that either.

Jesus, lighten up people. We've known for awhile now this video had a silly tone to it. Enjoy it for what it is instead of whining that it's not another dramatic video like 'Numb.' I think it's a welcome change of pace. Kid at the end is badass.

Looks like I'm doing the two Florida shows, along with something pretty special.

Really interested in what the set's gonna look like. Wonder what surprises they'll have. And extensions! -
The rumors were true! Linkin Park and Blink-182 will be performing together this summer! Along with Wu-Tang Clan and Machine Gun Kelly the whole event is coming to the northeast for two shows. The dates were announced via Funny or Die, who has a promotional video featuring both LP and Blink. All bands will perform at these dates: 2017.07.28 Citi Field - Flushing, New York 2017.07.30 Hersheypark Stadium - Hershey, Pennsylvania These shows come after rumors of Blink-182 and Linkin Park performing an entire tour together. Linkin Park's One More Light North American Tour was just announced yesterday with One OK Rock and Machine Gun Kelly opening shows, but there was a distinct lack of Blink in there. The stage is now set. These are going to be some pretty crazy shows. For one - Linkin Park is playing in U.S. stadiums. That's been long overdue. These shows are being playing at absolutely huge venues, so you won't want to miss out on them if you can go. What we're seeing here is basically a stripped down Projekt Revolution taken to some huge venues. Another thing that's overdue: playing with Blink-182. Members of Blink have joined the band over the past few years, almost like a tease. Travis Barker joined up with the band in 2014 for the Concert For The Philippines when he played drums on 'Bleed It Out,' and also joined Mike, Chester, and Steve Aoki for a performance of 'A Light That Never Comes' in 2013. At the last show of The Hunting Party tour, the Relief! Live event, Mark Hoppus played bass on 'Numb' with the band. Perhaps now we'll see that all come to the big stage. Check out Travis Barker duke it out on the drums with Rob during the bridge of 'Bleed It Out.' Who won this battle? It'd be great to see that happen live in these stadiums. Who's going to go? Linkin Park's summer North American tour is already looking pretty massive so we're not sure if the band will return again for a couple of years, let alone do something of this size, so make sure you don't miss your shot. If you can't go, be sure to check out the other tour dates announced to see if the band will be coming to a stop near you. Follow us on Twitter and like our Facebook page for updates. Check out the rest of Linkin Park's 2017 touring schedule here.

That's Bleed It Out. No doubt they'll play Faint though. Chester sounds great in the background there.
-
Yep. there's a video of them rehearsing it on their Instagram story.
-
I'll add everything to the post now, as well as a vague structure of the set since it seems GG and LITE will be back to back. Guess we'll know everything Saturday.

Damn, looks like I'm missing out on LP this cycle. I'll be on the west coast from July 24 to August 10. Big tour so it looks like it might be the only one of the cycle. Pretty interesting set up they have going on, though.

This thread was originally in the Got News subforum. There's no point in cluttering the Got News subforum with small interviews that only have one or two details in them. We can move it back to that subforum but still, this thread is great for what it does.

Rapology 10, anyone?

Another official remix of 'Heavy' is now out! This time, DJ Disero has tackled the song with his own unique style. This remix has a lot of things going on within it, like melody changes, changing of the chord structure, and lots of interesting little bits added in. This is so far the second remix of 'Heavy,' the first being done by Nicky Romero released last month. The remix is available on most streaming platforms like Apple Music and Spotify, so be sure to check it out there. What are your thoughts on this remix? Will we be getting monthly remixes of the track? Follow us on Twitter and like our Facebook page for updates on the band.

Bumping the thread as the band is back in rehearsals for this tour. Dissect literally anything you find in the pictures, and we'll see if it's accurate.

We've only just released Rapology 12, the CD featuring the super-rare Xero track 'Closing,' but we're already onto the next thing. We're still going backwards, and that took us to start looking for Rapology 11. We've found the cover of it, and there's an interesting detail on it. At first glance, you may recognize the artwork as being in the style of Mr. Hahn. Pay close attention to the turntable - on it, you can see "xero" and the Styles Of Beyond logo on it. We haven't found a tracklist or any details about the content of the CD, but this may be a glaring indicator of another Xero track to be found. What do you think? Is there yet another Xero track to be found, or is this just purely an artistic shoutout by Joe? Follow us on Twitter and like our Facebook page for more updates.

Why would they play the KeyArena on an amphitheater tour...? My best guess for Washington would either be Tacoma Dome or Auburn (for my girlfriend's sake )

You can change the city you want to get presale tickets for at any time before the actual pre-sale starts. The tour dates will probably be announced before then so you can change your city when those dates come. As long as you're an LPU member you shouldn't have to worry about falling down in the tiers for the presale.
-
Didn't mean for it to be that way - none of us knew either lol. Just posted what we knew. Fixed it to prevent any confusion.

United States and Canada fans, our time has come. Linkin Park has gone live with a Ticketmaster Fan Presale for the LPU for the One More Light North American Tour this summer! The pre-sale doesn't reveal any dates, but it does tell us what cities the band will be playing around. Linkin Park's One More Light North American Tour will be hitting the markets around the following cities: Arlington, Virginia Austin, Texas Baltimore, Maryland Birmingham, Alabama Boston, Massachusetts Buffalo, New York Charlotte, North Carolina Chicago, Illinois Cincinnati, Ohio Cleveland, Ohio Colorado Springs, Colorado Columbus, Ohio Dallas, Texas Denver, Colorado Detroit, Michigan Durham, North Carolina Gilbert, Arizona Hamilton, Ontario Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Houston, Texas Indianapolis, Indiana Jacksonville, Florida Kansas City, Missouri Las Vegas, Nevada Los Angeles, California Louisville, Kentucky Madison, Wisconsin Memphis, Tennessee Miami, Florida Milwaukee, Wisconsin Minneapolis, Minnesota Montreal, Quebec Nashville, Tennessee New Orleans, Louisiana New York City, New York Newark, New Jersey Oakland, California Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Omaha, Nebraska Orlando, Florida Ottawa, Ontario Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Phoenix, Arizona Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Portland, Oregon Providence, Rhode Island Quebec City, Quebec Raleigh, North Carolina Sacramento, California Salt Lake City, Utah San Antonio, Texas San Diego, California San Francisco, California San Jose, California Santa Barbara, California Seattle, Washington St. Paul, Minnesota Tampa, Florida Toronto, Ontario Tuscon, Arizona Tulsa, Oklahoma Vancouver, British Columbia Virginia Beach, Virginia Washington, D.C. Waterloo, Ontario West Palm Beach, Florida Wichita, Kansas You can sign up for the presale here. The presale will begin on Tuesday, May 9. Note that the band will not be performing a show in all of these cities, just nearby. Sign up for your own city (or which ever show you plan on going to should there be a show there) so that you gain access to the closest show possible. We've been waiting patiently for this tour announcement, and it's finally upon is. It's almost May and we haven't gotten the tour dates yet, so it's looking like this tour won't start until the end of August at the earliest. We're probably looking at a tour that starts around the end of August into the end of September/early October. We're definitely getting antsy - this will be Linkin Park's first North American tour since 2015, and the first summer (and proper) North American tour since the Carnivores Tour in 2014. That's far too long. Remember for markets, they could mean some arenas as well as the usual amphitheatre dates. For example, Boston usually means Mansfield whereas Detroit could mean Clarkston (amphitheatre) or Auburn Hills (arena). The announcement doesn't reveal any opening acts, yet there's quite a bit of speculation. The Blink-182 rumors are still looking pretty strong. Blink seems to be pretty busy touring-wise in September and August... maybe that rumor won't be true, or this will be a really short show. Perhaps just a few shows will feature Blink. It'll be great to see Linkin Park and Blink share the same stage - they've played with members of the band plenty of times before: Travis Barker performed drums at the Concert For The Philippines in 2014 and Mark Hoppus performed with the band at Relief! Live at the end of the last touring cycle. We'll definitely see some on-stage guests coming, but how will this all shape up? There's also the question of who will perform before Blink - we gotta have a third opening act for this party. Let us know who you think it is. Watch Travis Barker and Rob duke it out on the drums during this wild performance of 'Bleed It Out' and the Concert For The Philippines in January 2014. Let's hope we see more collaborations like this happen! For those unfamiliar with the system of Ticketmaster's Fan Presales, here's how it works for this one. It's pretty simple: all you have to do is connect to your Facebook account and select the show you want to attend. Sadly, it seems like the presale is limited to one show per person. Still confused? Here are the steps straight from LP.com: Register for the Linkin Park pre-sale powered by Ticketmaster #VerifiedFan. Improve your spot in line by buying One More Light, getting friends to register, or sharing the program. The day before the pre-sale, login to your account to find out your spot in line. All Linkin Park registrants will be separated into 4 different tiers, each with their own purchase window. Qualifying registrants will receive unique offer codes via web, email, and text message 2-4 hours before the presale begins. Buy tickets without worrying about bots or scalpers. Who's pumped? Venues, exact show locations, and actual dates should be coming within a few days. Make sure you sign up for the presale so you don't miss out! Looking at the markets, what shows are you planning on going to? I'm eyeing the Philadelphia (Camden?) and Newark/New York shows myself. In other Linkin Park news, Chester's pre-LP band Grey Daze has confirmed that they will be reuniting this year for one or two shows (in August or October - probably before or after this tour). Mike and Chester are currently in Japan doing promo, so check out this thread for updates on everything we find from there. Linkin Park's One More Light World Tour kicks off in two weeks on May 6 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Be sure to follow us on Twitter and like our Facebook page for the latest updates! Check out the rest of Linkin Park's 2017 touring schedule here.

A new week, a new round of promo. The band will be spending quite a bit of time in Japan before they head to South America to begin touring for One More Light, Joe and Mike having already been there for a couple of weeks and Chester joining in yesterday. Mike and Chester are beginning to do promo in Tokyo, and will be playing at least one show there (on NTV News Zero) so look out for a few acoustic songs later. Here's all the interviews we can gather from today - let us know if you find any more! For the sake of not repeating the same "we focussed on lyrics" and "its a softer album," we'll only highlight some of the newer information. QQ China: Every member of the band pretty much sticks to their own niche. On Living Things, Brad tried to write songs on piano and Mike played all of the guitar. Chester even said he asked him "when are you going to play guitar?" The band want to return to China, but haven't solidified any dates yet. The band has rehearsed songs both full band and stripped down. At the band's first show in China, they could tell fans who weren't very familiar with them, there was a reaction that they didn't really understand the angrier songs, but by the end they all sort of understood it. The next album could be literally anything; Chester joked that it might be a polka/reggae record. Chester used to hate love songs early in the bands career, until he wrote 'The Messenger.' For everyone who keeps asking the band why they changed sound, Chester says to look back at who you were five, ten years ago and see how much you've changed.
