  1. Ok, first of all: don't provide download links of tracks from singles or other things that are still available to buy. Check martinez' site if you need a list of things that aren't allowed. Downloadable bonus tracks should be ok since the download codes in the CDs have expired years ago.

Second: looks like your WID from Third Encore was taken from the original iTunes edition of MTM. Is this the right show? LPLive always listed that track as being from AOL but that could be wrong. Have you compared it to the videos of Third Encore and AOL?

You guys shouldn't compare the tracks to other tracks. Compare them to the videos and you'll know exactly what performance they are from.

Thank you. Wow this place is huge!!

How do I get the community app? Can you help me please?

Oh & pleased to meet you 🎶❤️🎶

Are you talking about the one Mike is using? To subscribe you just need to send a text to Mike's phone number, but it's pretty much for the United States only. If you're outside the US, it won't work.

Thanks for the upload! A couple of questions if you don't mind, the "live from carnivores tour 2014" where they were recorded exactly? What about the numb and new divide, victimized and WFTE versions in the "other" categorie?

This community has become like a Hilary Vs Trump debate we attack each other using the same arguments over and over and over again

And I'm part of this too lol

Do we really have a proof that they stole pictures?  That would be interesting for me.

We can ask Wesley for a screenshot of the conversation if you still need further proof.

And you already know about Chester's photo from a Linkin Park show being used in Grey Daze merch:

I do not know who owns the copyrights of this specific picture though.

Are there actually seven different vinyls? I wouldn't be surprised if there were, but it looks like the store thumbnails for the first two picture discs changed to the flip sides records now. So I see those two, the Spotify one, the splatter looking one, the red one, and the blue one. Regardless, it seems like overkill.

There's a regular black vinyl in the EU Grey Daze store. Saturn also has an "exclusive color vinyl" listed but I'm not sure if it's different from the other 7 (7!) because their product picture is just the album cover.

    Edit:

Just noticed Saturn added the color of the vinyl in the description. It's the blue vinyl.

    Good move on renaming Syndrome

Could someone post the track list with the guests?

    Picture vinyl looks badass.

We'd need to go through all their older Twitter and Facebook posts to make that list. We might still miss some because they removed all their old Instagram posts.

  8. Today Rolling Stone published a very insightful article on the new Grey Daze album as well as Chester's final years. The band says the project was started in early 2017 when they picked 4 songs to recut and sent guitarist Cristin Davis into the studio to work on them. They were planning on sending the producer out on Linkin Park's North American Tour so Chester could track his vocals. Talinda's only request when Sean decided to continue the project after Chester passed away was that he kept his voice intact.

Talinda says that giving the project her blessing was easy because she trusts Dowdell implicitly, and she knew what Grey Daze meant to Chester. “He wanted to do Grey Daze again because the music was awesome, he loved it back then, and he was excited to be able to create,” she says. “Doing it now that he had all this experience under his belt — he had accomplished so much and come so far since then — he was excited about it. I can hear him now. He’s like, ‘Fuck yeah!'”

The album, now confirmed to be titled Amends, is coming out on April 10th. Confirmed songs are 'What's In The Eye', 'Sickness' (with Page Hamilton of Helmet), 'She Shines' (with Head of Korn), 'Soul Song' (with Chester's son Jaime), 'Morei Sky', 'Just Like Heroin (A Little Down)' and 'B12.' Some proceeds from sales of Amends will benefit Talinda's 320 Changes Direction and other portions of the proceeds have been allocated for Chester's kids.

If the Grey Daze album gets a good response — and both Dowdell and Talinda, independently of each other, say that they hope Linkin Park fans will be open-minded enough to give the music a chance — Dowdell says there’s enough material for one or two additional Grey Daze releases. “Depending on how this is received — and so far, the music we have put out has been received quite well — I think fans will get a second record out of it,” he says.

'Sickness,' the second single from the album, should be coming on February 5th according to a press release. Album artwork can be seen here.

  9. Here's something cool: Howard Min, an LA-based photographer and film-maker, has shared on his Instagram three pictures from a photoshoot he did with Mike Shinoda and Joe Hahn in 1998 at the LA River. "One of my first ever photoshoots was with @mrjoehahn and @m_shinoda of @linkinpark . Circa 1998." Replying to a follower, he stated, "i met mike shinonda a handful of times - he was a fun, chill guy. joe was a very good friend since the 7th grade :)"

    MikeJoe1998-1.jpg

Back in 1998 the duo was performing with Xero / Xero 818. Joe worked for the Urban Network Magazine as Lee Cadena's assistant and Xero contributed with artwork and three original tracks for the magazine's Rapology CDs called 'Closing', 'Drop' and 'Fiends'. 'Drop' was credited solely to Mike and Joe under the names Kenji and Artofficial respectively. Mike worked with Styles Of Beyond by creating their original logo and artwork for the group's debut album for which he also produced a version of 'Marco Polo' that was eventually left out of the album. Mike can actually be heard laughing on SOB's exclusive track for Rapology 12, 'Drop'.

That year Xero also had 'Rhinestone' featured on a Zomba! Music sampler which eventually found its way to the producers of The Crow: Stairway To Heaven. This was the first soundtrack appearance by the band!

In December 1998, they played their final show with original vocalist Mark Wakefield. The following year Chester Bennington would join the group and they would change their name to Hybrid Theory, later Linkin Park.

  10. Earlier today, Convolk, a rapper from Oakland, CA with a little over 60K followers on SoundCloud, announced through Twitter he is working with Linkin Park. A few hours later, the tweet was removed. Check a screenshot below, courtesy of Reddit user mennog9.

There has been no confirmation from Linkin Park's camp at this time if they are actually working together. Let's keep in mind Mike and Brad have been working with other artists as songwriters and producers for the last couple years, so it's possible this is what's happening here.

Mike has recently worked on "Fine" (solo single), "Grand Paradise (Mike Shinoda Mix)" by Foxing, "Clockwatch" by AmirSaysNothing and "Me" by Kitten. On Instagram, he said more tracks are on the way. Earlier this month, AmirSaysNothing announced a second collaboration would be released on February 23rd as part of his new album.

  11. Going through our files we've found a recording previously unlisted in our live guide. It's an audio of Linkin Park's performance at the Provinssirock festival in 2008. The first two songs weren't recorded, but all the other songs are there. In the taper's channel there are videos of Given Up and Hands Held High and the audio sounds similar, so it's possible this audio was actually ripped from a video recording.
