  1. Already over sped up version.
  2. Meanwhile, I've just been here on my own ignoring every thing Shinoda posts because AO was completely underwhelming to me.
  3. This x100. THP is the only time they actively went against the current trend. And it failed for them lol. I would say that with the exception of HT and Meteora, they always felt a year or two behind. OML was the most obvious case of it.
  4. Couldn't have said it better myself. Chester really shines and sounds so natural playing straight up rock n roll. what a legend
  5. That's pretty much my stance. Most people here would know more about the timeline of songs/members and supposed contributions. All I really meant to say was, if he played on anything that has been released, he should be paid accordingly. Not sure why that's a controversial opinion to some. If the worst case scenario of LP/WB completely stiffing this guy is true (personally, I doubt it) I still don't see him getting paid some exorbitant amount. If I had to bet, this will settle out of court.
  6. Pay the guy for what he played on and move on. Warner isn’t hurting for cash enough to not toss what is realistically gonna be a relatively small payment. What numbers did HT20 and some LPU releases hit? Surely nothing staggering in terms of LP’s back catalog of core releases. I don’t see this being a huge trial or some massive pay off like some people are expecting.
  7. It's just an opportunity to re-issue. Artists do it all the time. Pretty cool that he's adding the deluxe edition tracks + welcome. I have no issues with this and I usually have pretty cynical takes.
  8. 100%. Can’t wait for the bubble to pop.
  9. That's totally understandable. To be fair, I don't think the band themselves are lighting their cigars with 100 dollar bills while making these decisions. Labels gonna do what it feels it needs to do. It's just a total head scratcher that we didn't get a super deluxe vinyl only set with all of these, considering Vinyl sales have overtaken CD's recently. I'm not involved with the music business let alone from a manufacturing/sales/marketing position, but as a fan it just feels like another case of a major label being out of touch with what fans want. I touched on this a little above but it's just silly that they couldn't have compromised in some way and at least included a vinyl only set that contains the material that they heavily marketed for that particular release. I want to ask "who even cares about CD's anymore?" but since this is a hardcore fan/collector populated site, that probably won't go over too well for my argument. Thinking on my position a bit more, I think I am more annoyed by the artificial scarcity factor of the release more than having to purchase ANOTHER separate release (taking your argument in good faith that they just couldn't make an additional record work for M20). I'm probably in the minority here but I would have gladly taken a set of just records for the full price of the super deluxe M20 as opposed to some records, cd's and prints/stickers that won't really get any use from me. Anyway... Appreciate having a dialogue! You raised some great points. Discussions like this make me miss the old days of band fandom where we had to make an effort to get involved in discussions on fan sites. But now I am just being a blabbering old man reminiscing on the "good old days" haha!
  10. I don't mind purchasing material from bands I enjoy, I'm a big boy, I can afford it. My tolerance is just a tad bit lower for this kind of stuff when the band in question are millionaires. But shitposters gonna shitpost. "I would have paid extra for a bundle with this and LPU demo records included" Nowhere did I imply they should give their material out as charity. In fact I implied the opposite.
  11. Hard not to feel a bit annoyed by this. Why couldn't this have just been included in any of the M20 sets? This just feels like a way to double/triple dip into fans wallets. I would have paid extra for a bundle with this and LPU demo records included. Not to mention the artificial scarcity factor that makes it harder for actual fans to purchase when they have to compete with flippers. Not a good look in my opinion.
  12. im mostly just taking the piss. A good song is a good song regardless of length.
  13. Tik Tok songs gotta be short!
  14. That was much more along the lines of what I was expecting based on the imagery he's been providing us. Something along the lines of that and like Death Grips or Ghostemane style beats. Trying not to judge the song before I hear the whole thing but so far, it's probably another in a long line of things that just haven't been to my taste. Good for him for doing what he wants though, it's not all gonna land for everyone.
  15. I’m not sure I can defeat you in the defensively passive aggressive department.
  16. No he makes music for everyone except me and you. Please try not to make this simple mistake again my friend. Have a blessed day!
  17. Shinoda just does not make music for me anymore.
  18. Aside from the first 4 tracks, this album hasn't aged well for me
  19. Everybody wants their hands in the LP pocket.
  20. I really wish we had that version of Lost included. I'm guessing they don't have those stems anymore. Still, really cool to hear a little more of that version of the song after all these years.
  21. Agreed on this. Feels like the only minor misstep here. As it is, I am waiting for the price of the Vinyl bundle to drop in price a little so I can at least have the LPU tracks on Vinyl. Bummer that they couldn't toss that into the Super deluxe as well.
  22. Beautiful song. Truly feels like a missing part of me has returned after all these years. Easily one of my favorite unreleased Linkin Park songs. Worth the wait!
  23. hey man, I'll eat crow on this one. You're probably right. That sounds exactly the same
