Wow I haven’t heard this song in years!

Wish they made a tribute Chester card.

I think this is the best of the three new songs. Feels a little different than other FZ songs and has that album closer energy. Good way to close out the FZ studio songs era. I will say that the LYF and LFY acronyms being so similar is already annoying me.

I’d much rather they play an LP song than Where’d You Go.

That Tulsa poster might be the worst gig poster I have ever seen.

Heh, I actually like this one more than the default FZ cover. Puts that new logo front and center in a big way.

Unfortunately, I don't think the new LP was a big enough draw for Dodgers Stadium. Sucks, but is what it is. I'm not trying to be whiney or anything (hell, some people never get/got a chance to see them at all so I try to keep things in perspective) but it is a little disappointing for sure. I'm not over here burning my LP collection or anything lol.

Damn. I live way closer to Dodger Stadium. I also had amazing seats and now I gotta fight for new ones all over again in a much smaller venue where LPU membership is massive. Also, NO MORE QOTSA!? What an absolute downgrade across the board. Hard not to be a little bummed here.

Even as an instrumental, The Emptiness Machine rules. One of the strongest songs they’ve ever made. They always create their best material when they take their time.

I’m 100% in favor of dropping Crawling for Blackout.

Posted in shoutbox but saying in here in the thread as well. Giving LPU first dibs to pre order show posters is such a legendary move. This makes snagging one so much less stressful. The poster scene is inundated by scalpers so not having to worry so much about competing against them is a relief. Nobody treats their fans better than this band I swear. The Cure did something similar with their posters but for the most part, a move like this is pretty rare or non-existent. Any fan of bands like DMB, Tool, NIN, etc. can attest to how stressful the poster scene can be. Going to try for a signed LA but will be happy with an unsigned just to avoid the hassle at the show.

Don’t forget, meeting tons of fans increases the risk they could get sick. Wouldn’t want them to have to cancel shows or play at less than 100%. I think the summit option is a good compromise if they every feel comfortable doing them again.

I think a small box set just focused purely on music and not a ton of extras would be cool. TRT, We Major, and FM Militia songs on vinyl is all I need. Would be more than happy to just have that, even if they are sold separately.

Wild stuff. Crazy to think that LP as we know them might have never existed without Jeff. Maybe The band just never makes it. The story of the band and their rise is seriously such a mash up of hard work and serendipity.

It’s easy to forget how local my favorite band is until Mike drops Dan’s Subs into an interview. I used to work at a place nearby that catered them all the time. I knew right away where that sandwich was from based on the foil before they even mentioned it hahaha. I Must’ve eaten like 100 of those sandwiches.

That song is my white whale. I have seen every HT song live in some form except for this. Would be a real treat to finally check this one off of the list.
