  1. KROQ has just announced a contest to have breakfast with the band. "To help us celebrate the September 14th CD release of A Thousand Suns, join us at Kevin & Bean's Breakfast with Linkin Park! We’re getting together to spend some time with the band at a very intimate venue. They'll be answering your questions and performing live. It's not possible to get any closer to the band without actually joining them on stage. This is a Linkin Park fan's dream come true. You've got two ways to get in. Listen to The Kevin & Bean Show all week. They'll tell you when to call. When they do, dial 800-520-1067. An alternate way to get in is via the KROQ Street Team. If you’re not a member, now is the time to sign up!" Enter the contest here. Article link can be found here. Good luck to those who enter! Apparently the New York City show will NOT be the band's only live performance of 2010, as the LPUnderground.com email that was sent out reads. "Want to attend Linkin Park's only 2010 US show? Linkin Park will play live in New York at the Best Buy Theater on September 14th to celebrate the release of A Thousand Suns." It seems they are doing MORE than one show.

    New LPTV

What are you talking about? This was posted right when it went up, lol.
  3. why the fuck would anyone get in like at 11am? lol @ all these crazy people wanting to be first.
  4. 11am is perfect. The show will be soooo good. I bet the setlist is going to be a setlist they only play once. I hope they do ATS start to finish, take a break and do like 6-8 more songs...with a few being unique. APFMH please? P5hng?
  5. Probably won't have one for NYC, which is stupid....I hope they do it. It'd be a great idea. Sell it at the merch booth, why the hell not? Probably gonna be a one time only unique setlist (maybe ATS start to finish).
  6. This. Easier To Run please! Perfect for the second song of an encore.
  7. Good luck!!! I got mine, I'll see you all there Gonna be a GREAT show
  8. This! Need one for 9/14! NO EXCUSE not to have one!
  9. Positives: -Phoenix! Hell yeah, lots of great shots. Cool looking bass. -Overall idea of the video was really cool -Slow mo of Rob before the bridge ala WID video -Shots of Chester and Mike together, that was cool -City effects ala SOTD video were nice -Effects like smoke, paint, water were A+. -Fort Minor vibe to the video. See: Petrified music video or Where'd You Go music video where Mike is wearing a hoodie and looking like a gangster, this time in a car Negatives: -Brad? -Needs more Joe, would've loved to see him jamming with his fists smashing into the turntable or something, lol -Way too much Mike Shinoda. wow, lol. little overdose right there. Chester is always all over the videos but Mike in this one was EVERYWHERE. -Radio edit? Ending seemed really weird. Video was badass but the end was like ...what? Got confusing with everything there at the end. Hopefully there's a version for the full song. I think the slow mo at the end confused me. -No shots of all of LP together jamming
  10. 2000: Halloween LA. Hometown crowd. Badass crowd and show. 2001: Not sure. Berlin and Tokyo are really good. 2002: Uniondale. Sal! Great crowd. 2003: Hmm, not sure. Probably London Wembley was the best. Loved the Papercut setlist. PR03 was really good. 2004: Mountain View. Best encore ever. LP's best setlist they've ever played. ROCKIN' SHOW. 2005: MFR. Hands down destroys Live 8, dunno how you could even say Live 8. Only performance of FRGT10 ever. All 6 CC songs. Hometown crowd. Nasty. 2006: Tokyo SS. LP brought it, lots of proshot clips. Zepp could be better but we don't have it. Osaka's RME is better than Tokyo's because of the bridge vocal fuckup but otherwise Tokyo is just dirty. 2007: Atlanta. Best TLTGYA/WID around. My first LP show. Zurich and the Euro shows were really fucking good. Hamburg stands out. 2008: Madison Square Garden. LPJZ, what a crowd. PR08 Berlin stands out. 2009: Stuttgart. LP just fucking brought it. Plus, RME!
  11. Ready to see Chester get pounded in the face with POWDER!
  12. Doors at 7, line up between 5-5:30 in my opinion
  13. Venue is small as shit meaning you can see and hear well from anywhere in the whole theater. Doors at 8 I think? Wouldn't get there till 6:30 if I were you. Hour and a half before is what I always do and is always perfect. You can be way back in line and also be up front too just because how people disperse when they go inside (bathroom, water, merch, food, walk around, chat with people, etc). Wouldn't worry at ALL about this show. Would like to check out NYC and show up at like 6 something.
  14. Damn. ATS is basically a Mike Shinoda creation lol. Dave golfs all week and Mike calls him in to record, and Dave calms him down at the same time as Mike basically lives in the studio and is obsessed. What an intense interview. Hope they play the whole CD in NYC.
  15. GOOD question. Yes it is international.
  16. What's up LPLive? Mark here. Just thought I'd put up a thread saying I'm really enjoying all the activity going on in the community with the excitement and curiosity about LP's new album. "A Thousand Suns" is dropping 9/14 and I can't wait. Anyway, I wanted to let you in on a little secret. We're doing a giveaway for a really cool item very soon. That's the only clue I have for now as our staff is still figuring out the exact rules for it, but let the guessing begin! Thanks for supporting the site - we really appreciate it. I love coming on every day and seeing all the new discussion about whatever has popped up in the news that morning. Thanks! Remember, the first show of 2010 is only three weeks away!
  17. Please play a fucking song I haven't ever heard before besides ATS material. I have heard every HT, Meteora and MTM single like 9 times live. Please play something else. All of ATS would be badass. Or all of Hybrid Theory + new songs. APFMH, F09, play something I have never seen PLEASE.
  18. Would've sold you my extra ticket for $70 if you wanted it. Hilarious. Don't ever buy from scalpers like that, jesus.
  19. You've got to make your sig smaller.
  20. This is really cool. I bet the interview is badass. Hope someone scans it!
  21. Just thought I'd let you all know that the New York show is now sold out. Congrats to those of you who got your tickets! If you didn't, then hopefully you can score some off of some people that change their mind at the last minute. If you are still looking for tickets, I advise that you post a reply in this thread and ask around. But anyway, the show is totally sold out. There were only about 1,000 tickets available due to this being a small venue, so at 2 tickets a person, only around 500 people can get tickets. For this sale, the presale codes were assigned a certain BATCH of tickets - the LPU had a certain amount and the LP.com ATS preorder had a certain amount. After those were gone, that was it. For those of you wondering how it sold out, there you go. The LPLive Show Roll Call thread can be found here.
  22. and loves From The Inside, lol, wtf
  23. I'm an admin here Jim. I can edit ANYONE'S posts to say WHATEVER I want
