I don't understand the font argument - looks fine to me. Reanimation songs aren't capitalized. LIVING THINGS is the first CD to have all caps everything (album name and all songs). Frgt/10 is the correct way, not FRGT/10. We initially had them all capitalized years ago, like P5HNG ME A*WY until we realized that was wrong so we went back and fixed it all. Yeah I'll change that for Cincinnati. -
Listing my favorites of the favorites here. Every show I'm listing is a great DSP start to finish. 2007: Auburn, Atlanta, Melbourne N2, Brisbane, Nagoya (yes all of these are A+ shows, band was on fire in 2007. Mountain View is solid too.) 2008: Hannover, Toronto (piano songs to start + APFMH? epic), West Palm Beach 2009: Stuttgart, Macao 2010: Hamburg (!), Melbourne N2 (debuts of BITS/Blackout) 2011: North American Tour was really weak. Worst tour they've done in years IMO. In Irvine, Foo blew them the fuck away and I guess that affected how they started the shows because nothing to me was good until Stockholm (5th show in). Only other 2011 one I like is Seoul. Not a great year for LP to me; 2012 really blew 2011 AWAY in terms of their live show. They looked so bored in 2011.

Why does it piss you off? Great point about UIB, I never noticed that. I'll go back and fix that for the 2012 shows. -

It's fine with me because in person when it's turned up and loud as hell, you can't tell at all. He didn't sound bad at any of the 6 (well 7) shows I saw this tour and listening to the DSPs, he sounds really rough at some parts of some songs. Never noticed it in person. Bring on the heavy songs. APFMH, Given Up, Faint, VICTIMIZED (w/ QWERTY), etc...keep 'em all. Bring in By Myself lol. Fuck it, play the heavy shit. Band sounds GREAT this tour. -

Nick said he was recording it -
On the 8th, the Honda Civic Tour featuring Linkin Park, Incubus and MUTEMATH rolls in to the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA on the campus of California State University. The venue is 10 miles south of Los Angeles, meaning this is serving at the home stop on the tour for both Linkin Park and Incubus. This is also the largest venue on the tour, holding 27,000 people. Wow! Linkin Park has never played here before so this will be their first stop in Carson, but we all know they've played 10 miles north in Los Angeles a million times before, most recently (not counting their Third Encore rehearsal sets) in May for the Music For Relief / Power The World benefit show at the House Of Blues (show page here). At the last show in Mountain View on the 7th, the band played US Set B. We would usually guess that this show would get another setlist but due to the Edmonton setlist picture saying "US Set B TV", we think that Carson will get that setlist. Why? Because the show will be shown live on AXS TV at 7:00pm PST, both LP and Incubus. Here is our chance to get a proshot video of Mike Einziger on 'Bleed It Out', a proshot video of 'IN MY REMAINS', 'LOST IN THE ECHO' and more! On the day of the Mountain View show, the Honda Civic Tour Twitter posted, "We've heard rumblings of a possible collab between @linkinpark and @incubusband. Will it be at today's show in Mountain View?#HondaCivicTour". It is unknown whether they meant the Mike Einziger/'Bleed It Out' collaboration or if they meant something different. What we do know is that there are only TWO shows left for Brandon Boyd to come out on a Linkin Park song and for Chester to join Incubus on a song! How sad would it be if the entire tour went by without either? Here is the best video yet of 'Bleed It Out' with Mike Einziger - thanks to Daniel for the find! Einziger is SHREDDING! One of the best collaborations the band has ever done, in our opinion. Is anyone from LPLive going to the show today? M&G for anyone? Remember, this show is one of five, well now four since Noblesville was released yesterday mysteriously, shows on the tour that will not have a DSP (Wantagh, Tinley Park, Mountain View, and Carson). After this show, the last date of the Honda Civic Tour falls in Chula Vista, CA on the 10th. Linkin Park then goes to Mexico to play MTV World Stage in Monterrey on the 12th and headlines Arena Ciudad de México in Mexico City on the 14th. Thanks for the setlist. Updated the main post. Hope they collaborate before the end of the tour. -
Using W.CD now instead of TPB. Someone needs to make a DSP cover like in the style of the previous ones. This: http://i1096.photobucket.com/albums/g325/T...31at15237PM.png Whoever made that one should do them for all the shows, then it'd be like the 2007-2011 DSP covers.

I don't think they've announced any details yet. Probably public since he said DJs, etc.

Thanks, I'll add that soon. http://lplive.net/shows/20120825.php Updated the Noblesville page after hearing the DSP. -
Indianapolis DSP is great. APFMH starts weird, like the guitar is really quiet and it gets turned up. OSC fuckup is hilarious lol. Great Papercut too, loudest I've ever heard Mike on the second half of the song with his harmony parts.

Linkin Park Adds Australian "Sidewaves": Sydney & Melbourne

Pretty high if you go to more than 1 show. Also not bad if you have 1 show you're applying for. They accept 50 for M&Gs so that's a pretty good chance. -

Linkin Park Adds Australian "Sidewaves": Sydney & Melbourne

Holy FUCK that is $112 USD. Linkubus wasn't even that much in some cities. Is Linkin Park insane? Nickelback is cheaper than that, Foo is half that price and even cheaper than half that usually, Muse is 1/3 of that. I don't understand. Will anyone buy a ticket that expensive for Linkin Park? Like will they even get half of a full crowd? lol I'm not even paying that much to see a 2 day festival with Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Avett Brothers, Ludacris, TI, Joan Jett, Neon Trees, Civil Twilight, Girl Talk and more. -
Mountain View! Linkin Park, Incubus and MUTEMATH roll into this city that gets quite a few Linkin Park shows on the 7th of September for the 2012 Honda Civic Tour. Being the home of both Linkin Park and Incubus, California has more shows than any other state this tour, with three to end the tour. And that means only three more chances for Brandon to come out on a Linkin Park song or Chester to come out on an Incubus song.... Anyway, the first appearance by LP at Shoreline was on Ozzfest 2001 (show page here) - a good recording of that show was released here in 2009, so check the forums out for that since it's a pretty solid performance. Their next show there was what just about any fan would tell you is one of the best Linkin Park shows out there (if not this one, they'd probably say Rock am Ring 2004) - Mountain View 2004 (show page here), the closing date of Projekt Revolution 2004. The eighth anniversary of that incredible show was actually just a few days ago. Featuring a very rare 'A.06', two takes of 'Wish', 'Sweet Child O' Mine' and incredible versions of many songs, that show is one of the best recordings of the band available online. The band returned on Projekt Revolution 2007 (show page here), playing 'Hands Held High' for the first time, 'Cure For The Itch' in a newly remixed version (the first performance of the song since 2001), and the 'No More Sorrow' long intro for the first time. Wow! A nice joke by Brad was played on Rob at the Projekt Revolution 2008 stop at this venue (show page here) and most recently the band played this venue last year in June for Live 105's BFD 2011 (show page here). Even though I used this video for the preshow post last year for BFD 2011, it's still one of my favorite live videos of Chester and it comes from the Projekt Revolution 2007 stop at this venue: At the last show in Tacoma on the 5th (show page here), the band played US Set C for the first time in seven shows. With LP going from US Set A in Vancouver to US Set C in Tacoma, it will be hard to guess what setlist this show will get. Edmonton's setlist said "US Set B TV" on it, so maybe since Carson's show will be shown on TV, they will get that setlist? Only time will tell! Is anyone from LPLive going to this show? One thing to note about this show is that while there was one in 2007, 2008 and 2011 at this venue (three previous shows), there will NOT be a DSP (Digital Souvenir Package) for tonight's show reportedly due to the venue disagreeing with the band on how much money they should get from the sale of each recording. Ouch! After this show, the band plays in Carson on the 8th and then closes the tour out in Chula Vista on the 10th. Mexico comes after that! For the full 2012 tour schedule including setlists from this tour and future tour dates, click here. SETLIST: (thanks to Kay and Mycophycophyta) 01. A Place For My Head (Long Intro; Ext. Outro) 02. Given Up (Ext. Outro w/ Extra Note) 03. New Divide 04. With You (2012 Ext. Intro; Ext. Scratch Outro) 05. Somewhere I Belong (2012 Intro) (Technical difficulties @ start of song) 06. IN MY REMAINS 07. VICTIMIZED (w/ QWERTY) 08. Points Of Authority 09. LIES GREED MISERY 10. Waiting For The End (Apaches Intro w/ 'Until It Breaks' rap; Ext. Outro) 11. Breaking The Habit 12. LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent (Ballad Medley) 13. The Catalyst 14. LOST IN THE ECHO (2012 Intro) 15. Numb (Outro 'Numb/Encore' lyrics tease (Mike)) 16. What I've Done (Album Transition Intro) 17. BURN IT DOWN 18. In The End 19. Bleed It Out (Ext. Bridge w/ Beastie Boys 'Sabotage', Mike Einziger, & Singalong; Ext. Outro) ---------------------------------------------------- 20. TINFOIL 21. Faint (Ext. Outro) 22. Lying From You / Papercut (Medley) 23. One Step Closer (Ext. Outro) Mike Einziger on 'Bleed It Out' with 'Sabotage' and a singalong bridge - sounds like a great rendition of the song! But unfortunately we aren't getting a DSP from this show....darn. Still no Brandon/LP or Chester/Incubus collaborations...two shows left!

Linkin Park Adds Australian "Sidewaves": Sydney & Melbourne
hahninator replied to Pez's topic in Newswire
You can't blame Linkin Park for that - that's something the promoter does I'm sure. Decides when to do certain presales and stuff and when general tickets go on sale. LP when they schedule a gig I'm sure in the contract it says something like "fuck it all, we are doing LPU M&Gs for our fan club before ANYONE ANYWHERE gets access to buy a ticket, whether it's the radio station or promoter's company or whatever". Gotta be grateful they give us presale tickets FIRST for almost every LP show. LPU really does a good job with stuff - sucks it's so sudden and surprising for people but at least LPU gives presale tix! (and before anyone. and sometimes without convenience fees, like Projekt Revolution 2008) -

Yeah two beats none for sure haha. I doubt it. They hit Australia only once every touring cycle so do everything you can to see a show or two (or seven) on this tour! -
Linkin Park Adds Australian "Sidewaves": Sydney & Melbourne
hahninator replied to Pez's topic in Newswire
Looks like the Sidewave shows are in those spots due to the routing/timing of the shows. A lot of off days between Sydney and Melbourne so it makes sense. When Auckland was announced so close to Brisbane I kind of thought there'd be no time for a Brisbane Sidewave since LP doesn't do many shows in a row anymore. -
