  1. Camden will be one of those DSPs I put on a CD for my car and jam to all the time haha. One of those epic DSPs you listen to a lot....
  2. Good god the crowd on GO AWAY on APFMH was just awesome. So loud.
  3. Posted an update in the main post.
  4. Setlist updated in the main post. Great set, all 3 sets this tour are fucking awesome.
  5. Jonas recorded the shows we went to so I will ask him what the deal is with some stuff. Take a look at the 2012 HCT pages and see what needs to be added/subtracted/changed from them. Surely I missed something like maybe some WID piano intros or OSC ext intros or something.
  6. The Honda Civic Tour show pages should be updated. Bristow has a Game Of Thrones + 2012 Intro for With You, because I noticed in Uncasville the 2012 Intro part of the intro was dropped, but it was there in Bristow. Check the DSP. Maybe I'm wrong though, I haven't checked the actual YouTube recordings, which I'll do later tonight.
  7. It seems like Linkin Park will finally return to New Zealand in 2013! "Linkin Park have announced one Auckland show, in the first of what could be a wave of bands tagging New Zealand shows onto appearances at Australia's Soundwave Festival. The multi-award winning band will play at Vector Arena on February 21 next year as part of their Living Things world tour. It will be the American band's first trip to New Zealand since they played to a sold-out Vector Arena in 2007. Linkin Park - Living Things World Tour: February 21, 2013 - Vector Arena Auckland Tickets on sale September 7 from Ticketmaster. My Live Nation pre-sales start on August 31." Linkin Park sold out two shows in a row in Auckland in 2007 (show pages here and here) to start their Minutes To Midnight Australia & New Zealand Tour. Two shows in Auckland were rumored for December 2010 but the band didn't end up stopping in New Zealand on their 2010 Australian Tour. LP first played in Auckland in 2001 and then didn't return until 2007, so this will be their fourth show there. This show will fall before the band goes to Australia for the 2013 Soundwave Festival, which starts on February 23 in Brisbane. PS: Our 2013 tour page is coming soon! Source here. Thanks to marzo23 for the heads up! Who's going? EDIT: Confirmed by Linkin Park on LP.com. "Linkin Park will be heading to New Zealand and Australia in February and March. On February 21, they'll be playing at Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand. They'll then head to Australia for Soundwave Festival." 2013 Tour Dates: 21.02.2013 Auckland, NZ, Vector Arena 23.02.2013 Brisbane, QLD, RNA Showgrounds 24.02.2013 Sydney, NSW, Olympic Park 01.03.2013 Melbourne, VIC, Flemington Racecourse 02.03.2013 Adelaide, SA, Bonython Park 04.03.2013 Perth, WA, Claremont Showground
  8. Mike at the Alpharetta M&G said they ran out of time in rehearsals to rehearse any more new songs so those will come on upcoming tours on this touring cycle. Aka I take it as they tried to perfect the new ones they were playing - BID, LGM, IMR, VICTIMIZED/QWERTY, etc and then tried to perfect the new stuff in the set/old stuff...LFY/Papercut mashup, etc rather than worry about too many new songs.
  9. Linkin Park's eighth show of the 2012 Honda Civic Tour comes on the 22nd at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. The band first played Cincinnati in October 2000 on the Kottonmouth Kings' 'Riding High Tour' at Bogart's. They did not return to the city until 2004, where they kicked off Projekt Revolution 2004 (show page here). That show featured the American debut of the "epic LP setlist" that we are all familiar with. Pretty awesome show! While Projekt Revolution 2007 skipped Cincinnati, the 2008 version didn't, playing it on August 15, 2008 (show page here). The third canceled show in a row in 2011 was in Cincinnati at U.S. Bank Arena last year during the stretch when Chester was sick. The LPLive "policy" on shows means we will call this a make-up show (the next performance in a city after a canceled show is what we call the make-up date), so this will be LP's fourth show in Cincinnati out of five scheduled appearances. For this show we should expect a version of US Set A, last played in Wantagh, NY on August 15 (show page here). This set opens with 'TINFOIL' and 'Faint' and has been changed already to include a full 'Lying From You' performance mid-set. Here is a full version of the LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent medley from that show, featuring the fog LP is using on this tour. At the last show in Auburn Hills, MI, LP played US Set C (opening with 'With You'), but changed it up slightly to feature 'Papercut' in full in the encore. An interesting fact is that so far in the tour, there has been only one show where a setlist has repeated itself exactly: Uncasville, CT - where 'Crawling' was dropped from US Set C for the second show in a row. 'Crawling' remains to be seen on this tour even though it was originally in US Set C and was in the leaked LPU Summit US Set B (but later removed for that night's show and replaced with 'Empty Spaces'/'When They Come For Me'). Do you think it will show up on this tour? Are you glad that it is finally getting a break after all this time? Would you like to see any other singles get a break from the setlists? One thing I'd like to mention and get some replies on is how I've noticed the band has a "renewed" sense of energy on stage and seems to be playing better shows than 2011 - does anyone else agree with this? The shows on this tour that I saw absolutely blew away the 2011 shows that I saw, but maybe that's just me. Thoughts? Who's going to the Cincinnati show? M&G for anyone? Anyone updating us with what the band plays? After an off day, LP plays Tinley Park, IL on the 24th and Noblesville, IN on the 25th before heading to Texas for two shows. 11. I will analyze all these set notes, show notes, etc tonight when I am working on the pages. This is the first chance I've had to look at anything because I was gone for the first 6 shows. Mainly it is me that does the info on the show pages so that's why they have not been so up to date lately. We are listing VICTIMIZED (w/ QWERTY) as its own song and then LFY/Papercut on the next line. I know in Set C it says its the same song but we are splitting it since LFY/Papercut is played in another set. Damn Soul it'd be great to have you on staff if you want to edit show pages and stuff, this is GREAT info.
  12. On the 21st, Linkin Park plays their seventh show of the 2012 Honda Civic Tour (with Mutemath and Incubus) in Auburn Hills, Michigan at The Palace Of Auburn Hills, which is right outside Detroit, Michigan. The band has played this venue before, first on the Family Values Tour in 2001 and then again on the Meteora World Tour in 2004. Detroit itself has had quite a few shows over the years, the most recent being at Joe Louis Arena in January of 2011 (show page here). A new setlist debuted at that show, giving 'Blackout' and 'Burning In The Skies' their American debut and it also was one of the few times 'New Divide' ever opened a show. The venue for the show today is one of only a few indoor shows on the tour. The first one was Uncasville, CT at Mohegan Sun Arena but that was just a Linkin Park & Mutemath show. The shows all three bands (LP, Incubus, and Mutemath) will be playing that are indoors are in Auburn Hills, MI, Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC (a non-Honda Civic Tour show), and the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, WA. For the first six shows of the Honda Civic Tour, Linkin Park debuted three new setlists for the USA - C, A, and B (in order). Each of these sets was played twice in a row and each went through a change or two. C had 'Crawling' dropped at both shows (once because of curfew and once because the band didn't want to play it), A had a full 'Lying From You' thrown in at its second show in Wantagh, NY and had 'Numb' moved up out of the encore, and B had 'With You' and 'Empty Spaces'/'When They Come For Me' swap places in the setlist. An earlier leaked B from the LPU Summit was also different (it included 'Crawling', for example) than what ended up being played that night in Camden, NJ. With the rotation going like it has, we can expect US Set C in Auburn Hills. The question we have though is if 'Crawling' will remain in the setlist or not. What do you think? Are you pleased with the setlists on the tour so far? I thought for the video in this post I'd put up 'Bleed It Out' from Alpharetta, GA the other day with the 'Sabotage' bridge and pyro on it. Who's going to Auburn Hills to see the show? M&G for anyone? After this show, LP plays in Cincinnati, Ohio on the 22nd followed by an off day and then two back-to-back shows in Tinley Park, Illinois and Noblesville, Indiana. For the full 2012 tour schedule including past setlists, click here. SETLIST: 01. With You (Game Of Thrones Intro) 02. Faint (Ext. Outro) 03. Given Up (Ext. Outro) 04. VICTIMIZED (w/ QWERTY) 05. Lying From You 06. Somewhere I Belong (2012 Intro) 07. New Divide 08. IN MY REMAINS 09. Empty Spaces 10. When They Come For Me 11. Waiting For The End (Apaches Intro w/ Until It Breaks verse 2 rap; Wall Of Noise Outro) 12. Breaking The Habit 13. LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent (Ballad Medley) 14. The Catalyst 15. What I've Done 16. One Step Closer (Ext. Outro) Thanks to Ryan Jonik (http://twitter.com/ryanjonik) for the setlist! Set C with some changes!
  13. Discussion of that is no longer allowed here as something has been said to us by LP management so please refrain from discussion on that topic.
  14. A few days ago, someone (?) on last.fm posted six dates for Linkin Park in their upcoming events section of the site, but they were removed within 24 hours. These may be totally false but they could possibly be leaked for next summer - we will have to wait and see. Regardless, I thought a post about them would get some discussion going. The dates are: 01.07.2013 Lyon, France, Halle Tony Garnier 03.07.2013 Hamburg, DE, O2 World 04.07.2013 Stuttgart, DE, Hanns-Martin-Schleyerhalle 06.07.2013 Antwerpen, Belgium, Sportpaleis 08.07.2013 London, UK, O2 Arena 10.07.2013 Zürich, CH, Hallenstadion Thanks to Garo for the heads up! The Lyon date came with info on ticket prices potentially being 36-42 Euro and on sale November 15th. Something interesting is that the site is also listing the rumored Argentina date for the band. While last.fm lists the venue originally rumored, we have heard the venue will be Estadio GEBA. 05.10.2012 Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires Thoughts? Again these may be totally wrong and we have seen them on just ONE site so take them with a grain of salt.
  15. sealed reissue is like $40-50 max, sealed original is like $500+
  16. IE is the only one (what a piece of shit browser lol) that ever worked for me. the new Java in Firefox CRASHES on its own at least 5x a day. fuck it.
  17. Get it now then lol, it's on the DSP site. IMR sounds AWESOME.
  18. Best time I've ever had a LP concert, ever. Setlist was a total surprise to me - APFMH finally and damn did it live up to my expectations - so epic. WTCFM and POA in the same set...yes! I have never seen a crowd explode on POA like that ever, and the same goes for LFY. Encore is so sick. Shinoda said get the fuck up and it felt like the entire place EXPLODED on LFY. Then Papercut then OSC. Holy shit. Summit was great. Met a ton of awesome people and had a blast. Chester w/ the LPL shirt in his wardrobe = sweet. M&G at the Summit was genius with how the band came to us - they all talked for a while. So cool.
  19. Oh man what a show. I got lucky and got a M&G last minute, which was awesome. Band remembered me from Camden. Really cool M&G. LP just blew the entire fucking place apart, one of the best shows I've ever seen them play. Crowd exploded. Had such an amazing time.
  20. Uncasville was the worst show of the tour that I saw. Sucks the intro is gone but what can you do, at least we get DSPs. Pooch said the other DSPs were cut because the venues demanded too much of a cut from LP so LP mgmt said fuck it. I don't blame them. Glad we are getting some shows. Camden was fucking epic.
  21. Your setlist is wrong. No Numb in the encore. LOL at reference there. Numb was moved up. LFY was a great addition. Shitty day today and venue staff were being dicks about MFR seeing the show. Five mins before LP we got a great spot really close. Way better show than yesterday. Wow. So loud and band was rocking big. So funny how you can see the same setlist two shows in a row and one show can be so bad and one can be so awesome. Apparently sal was there but we didn't get to see him Band jamming big. Would have been a great show for apfmh but oh well. On to Camden. Off day very needed by us. Gotta have apfmh in a setlist for Camden.
  22. Big chance for bad weather so stay tuned for updates to my Twitter. I think it will be C C A A B B C A B for the setlist rotation. A is as boring as it gets so B better be epic. If they surprise us and do B today that would be great but I think today is A. On the way from Boston to NYC right now. B needs APFMH, NMS, a new opener like something we would never expect, and some other songs not in A or C. C blows A away though as far as I'm concerned lol. A has to be the most boring setlist LP has played in years. No Blackout, no Runaway, no From the Inside like it had....damn. We will see what happens tonight. Stop by the MFR booth and say hey to us!
  23. Last night, hmm. Didn't raise much for MFR for some reason. People in Mansfield didn't want to donate much lol. Setlist was terrible, I mean terrible. C rapes that big time. Looks like another case of Europe getting the goods and the USA getting lackluster stuff. It feels like I saw almost the same show as Uncasville but just worse. Getting tired of LGM, BID, Numb, etc. Slow shit medley really kills the vibe of the show. Pit was just damn exploding big time during a few songs but some of the crowd near me didn't care at all. More people left during the encore than I've ever seen at a show I mean wow lol easily thousands. Wasn't a big fan of Set A at all especially with how epic it was in Europe but they dropped Runaway, Blackout and From The Inside, 3 of the best songs in that setlist. Replaced them with Victimized QWERTY, Lost in the echo and....?? Whatever else. Disappointed we didn't get any of those. I'd rather never hear lost in the echo again and have one of those back. So many songs they play at every single show. Best songs were Points, LOVE the album version live, crowd just explodes and then OSC which is easily their best live song they've got by far. Absolutely great. Worst were LGM, Jesus wtf is that shit lol, 30 year olds singing about choking on lies, Numb, BID, slow shit medley, and especially SIB and ND because I realized they just cut some epic shit from the set that I've never seen and instead are playing songs I've seen a ton lol Hopefully the set rotation calls for B today because idk if A will keep me interested lol. Incubus was FILTHY. God damn they RAPED the place. Much better than LP last night. Circles, Megalomaniac, Pardon Me, Sick Sad Little World, etc I mean wow so great. I wish they swapped headliners each show cause id love to see a full Inky set and work during LP at mfr.
