  1. Is it worth it trying to raise money thru donations for recordings of shows?
  2. Do you have a sample or a link or anything for it? I have source 2a but not the source 2b you are talking about from Download 2007. I would assume it is the same camera angles but I might be wrong. Jonas might have this source, or Biel or Felipe. I have never seen that 2008 source anywhere.
  3. Yes he does have live pitch correction on his voice. Call in Astat, he's an expert on that.
  4. I like the speeches. Hope they keep it for the USA tour, but drop a ton of shit (aka the entire encore lol) to make room for ALITS, KTTK and APFMH. Wish I was there! Frankfurt is where I flew into in 2009 when I went to 4 shows. The venue looks epic - I'll come sometime and see LP there.
  5. Yes. There is simply too much money to be made in Europe at the festivals to pass that up when you have the availability to do it. They earn much more headlining one of those festivals than they do playing several arena shows. Rock am Ring/Rock im Park, Rock In Rio, Pinkpop, Rock Werchter, NovaRock, etc all pay LP BIG money.
  6. We get offers all the time to tape. Just this year: Minnesota show for $125 both London shows for 200 euros~ 3 audio shows on 2015 tour for $300+ Can't afford any of it If you have GA then have fun with that, you don't see LP all the time so I'd enjoy that show.
  7. Both. We had an offer for someone to video both London shows for 200 euros total or something....we can't afford it. Your source would be greatly appreciated. I'd rather you do it than have zero recording, of course. Audio 100% for sure and I'd like you to do video if you could.
  8. At minimum a DVD recording should be able to be done. Not sure how it's possible to record in 4K. People are going to just have to mess around with it.
  9. Use your dvbs2 receiver that is built into this TV to tune to the channel it's on. Free channel. If you have the TV it should be relatively easy to find it. Let us know if you do get that TV...that'd be a big help.
  10. Does anyone know exactly how region specific this is? For instance, Germans can obviously get it. However, how much more of Europe can get it? UK? Russia?
  11. https://twitter.com/ninlive Ryan at NINLive/RITC tweeted about it for us, so some NIN fans might try and help. We have our staff really trying to get it captured. I'll keep you all updated. If anyone can do it, it's the hardcore LP fans. I have faith.
  12. Thanks! I added all of the sources. I really appreciate you taping the show And best comment ever on source 3, that's how I was at a few shows I recorded haha. Went nuts on OSC bridge at Zurich 2009. This is literally how I feel every time I want to record a show...I want to just jam during the heavier stuff.
  13. I'll do it this week for you.
  14. I'm not sure either as Linkin Park hasn't promoted it at all. Only Warner Music Germany. Maybe Samsung thinks fans will see the announcement and buy the TV, which would happen to exactly zero people. All it's doing is creating a headache for us. In case you guys didn't see it - we will host a webcast of this show a few days afterward (or maybe the day after the tour ends or something so everyone can see it and we don't exclude UK fans) for ALL Linkin Park fans. There's no sense in it being broadcasted with some insane restrictions on it.
  15. How possible is it to even get this recorded? Do I need to advertise this more? Make posts on certain forums? What do I need to do?
  16. I thought that tracklist looked fake....the titles seem SO odd to me but hey, I thought LPU9 was fake too when it leaked, ha.
  17. Set A. It's on the show page (which is down for a few hours, but will be back soon) Paris will be Set B. Added the sources to the show page! ITE video looks amazing. Let me know when you have more info and I'll get it added for you.
  18. Great post. I remember the 2005 Fort Minor show being canceled...oh the days of the Fort Minor message boards, haha. And the 2007 show...the recording has an amazing TLTGYA version (PushingMe source). That's the most recommended recording that I have of the 2007 European Tour. 2010....APFMH. Damn. I'll never forget fans coming back for the REST OF THE TOUR and saying they asked at the M&G for APFMH and the band said no, ha. I wish they'd incorporate it into the setlist now. What a badass video of it in Paris in 2010. Arras 2011 - very cool venue too.
  19. I am surprised they didn't put much footage of him actually playing the songs. He shredded the fucking Faint solo and What I've Done solo. He's a good guitarist. Didn't answer the question of if he rehearsed in LA with them or whatnot...they didn't even mention Brad.
  20. Linkin Park takes The Hunting Party's European Tour to Wien, Austria on November 14th, where the band will play Halle D of Wiener Stadthalle, the largest indoor arena in Austria. This show comes as the third show in three days, after performances in Leipzig on the 12th and München on the 13th. The band is no stranger to Austria, but it has been quite a long time since they have performed in Wien. They opened for the Deftones there in March 2001 in their first show in the country and returned in September 2001 to headline the same venue, the Libro Music Hall. That's the last show in Wien for Linkin Park until now, meaning this is their third show in the city. However, they have performed across the country in other cities since then.... In 2004, Linkin Park was set to headline Aerodrome 04 in Wiener Neustadt, which is less than an hour south in a car and a little shorter by train from Wien. The show was announced by the festival but never announced by the band, and the festival later said it was later "canceled" for an unknown reason. The lineup for that festival was pretty wild - Metallica, Korn, Linkin Park, and Slipknot in that order on the main stage! Korn would have been after Linkin Park on the bill even though they were opening Projekt Revolution just over a month later. LP is no stranger to Nickelsdorf, headlining NovaRock in 2007, 2011 and 2012. In 2007, they had to literally piece gear together from across the festival (via other bands, etc) to play the show due to the storm in Venezia damaging some of their equipment the day before. The 2011 show was pretty standard, but featured a rare Waiting For The End without Jornada Del Muerto before it (the second time that happened on the A Thousand Suns touring cycle). And in 2012, a crazy storm forced the festival to evacuate before Linkin Park's set...but they did get to play and they performed a shortened, 65 minute show. The city of Graz had two headlining shows in 2008 and 2009 in their intimate Stadthalle, which only holds 5,000 people. The 2008 show there was the first time that There They Go was ever rapped over the outro of Points Of Authority, which instantly became a fan favorite....you likely know it from the Road To Revolution DVD filmed later that tour in Milton Keynes, England. Finally, Linz, Austria held an arena show on the A Thousand Suns World Tour in October 2010. This will be the band's 9th show in Austria since 2001. At the last show in München, Set B made an appearance so Set A is likely coming for Wien. We have an update from two shows ago in Leipzig - Mike and Chester sang part of Waiting Room by Fugazi over the bridge of Bleed It Out. The song was actually on a recommended playlist (on Mike's blog) in summer 2007 of rock songs that he grew up liking and was also on the preshow mix for Projekt Revolution 2007. Here's a video! After this show, the band heads to France for the first time since 2011 to perform in Paris, then back to Germany for the last three of nine shows. The show in Berlin on November 19th will be recorded for a Live DVD, and will also be broadcasted via satellite to Samsung UHD televisions. More information on that broadcast can be found in this thread. For the rest of the 2014 tour dates, click here.
  21. http://www.ses.com/4233325/news/2014/20362143 "First live concert in the world to be broadcast at Astra 19.2 degrees East in Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 pixel) in HEVC standard, at 50 fps and a colour depth of 10 bit" There's the English press release. I have no idea what that means, but it says "The live broadcast will begin at 9 pm CET and can be received with Samsung 2014 Ultra HD screens." So if I don't have that television I can't get it?
  22. Question for the German fans.... Why is the venue named after a guy so involved in the Nazi party? I did some research on him and I don't really understand it.
  23. I blame half on Julien-K's electronica stuff in the songs and the other half on Howard Benson, who polishes the fuck out of rock music he touches. Some of it turns out epic like Three Days Grace if you crank the guitars up like on One-X and Life Starts Now. But I totally agree. The overall sound of DBS is really bad IMO. And I disagree about songs that can't be played live. Robot Boy is a fantastic song. LP truly doesn't have many songs they can't play live. I bet Robot Boy would sound decent, but they never tried it. A stripped down version even with the synth solo still there would have worked. For Living Things, they just voluntarily chose not to play many of them live. Powerless, seriously? That shit seems easy for them.
  24. Irresistible I like the cities too. Nashville is fantastic and I have never seen a show at the Orlando arena. Greensboro because Nick D lives there. That's 3. KTTK and ALITS...aka new setlists so 2 more.
