Iridescent is an OK song up until the "gang vocals." At that point, the song takes a horrible turn, and ends up sounding like some type of cheesy pop song.

My two cents....I don't think the new songs translate well to the live show, with the exceptions being WFTE and Wretches. It just seems weird to me, to see Brad and Chester wacking some drums in the front of the stage. It's like they want to prove that the album is really them playing instruments and not all electronics. That said, it's still a solid set list and I'm looking forward to MSG.

I like the setlist, but it's not really a "new" setlist. LFY is the only different song, and they changed the order around. Not really that big of a deal IMO. Iridescent should be replaced with BTH, and the set would be awesome. Iridescent is a cool song until the gang vocal at the end, which I think, sucks and ruins the song.

I went on at 11:50 and had no problem at all getting tickets. I'm surprised to hear so many people were shut out.

Actually, it's not bullshit. Look at the prices for the MSG tickets and compare them to the tix at the other venues. Not sure if you know this, but everything is more expensive in NYC.

I agree that the StubHub prices are insane, but you guys have to realize that its NYC. Every show is more expensive there. I logged on 5 minutes early and the presale had already started. I was lucky enough to get two tix. Anyway, keep an eye on the tickets as the show gets closer, the prices will drop. They might not drop too much, but they have to come down a little. I bought my tix for the last LP show at MSG a week before the show, and paid $180 a piece for a floor seat. Good luck

I'm sorry, but you guys act like pit tickets at LP are dangerous. Come on now, it's an LP concert, not a Slayer show.

LP always choose lame bands to tour with. Prodigy is cool, but they won't be at the MSG show. I don't know much about the other two bands, but after checking out their sites, I'm not very impressed.

Do tix go on sale today??? I'm confused.

Just got back from the show....it was insane. They really sounded great tonight. The new songs were cool, though I thought the Catalyst was a little messy. Wretches &Kings is badass live. Chester was spot on tonight, he really sounded great. The venue kinda sucked, but other than that it was awesome.

If they only play for 1 hour Im going to be pissed.

I'm really looking forward to this show. I feel like I haven't seen the perform in forever. The more I listen to ATS, the more I am coming around to it. It'll be interesting to hear some of these songs live. I'm sure they will play a few songs from HT. I just can't see them shutting this album off from any live show.

All of you children who rush to defend this piece of crap are laughable. You sound like someone insulted your mother. Sometimes I forget how young most of you are, younger folks tend to be drawn towards pop music like this. this album will hurt this band in the long run.

Its total crap. Pop, synth driven crap. Blackout could be cool, but they ruined it with all the electronic garbage they threw in. Huge mistake on LP's part with this album.

I listened to a bunch of the tracks, and its terrible. Anyone calling it "epic" is a fool. Give me a break, they jumped the shark with this crap. At least now I know I don't have to waste my money on it. Its a god damn dance record.

Why is this guy a douche?? Because he slammed LP?? Some of you need to be prepared for this, I guarantee there is plenty more to come. And whether you want to believe it or not, he makes some valid points.

Blackout would be a lot cooler if it didn't have that annoying synth in it.

Actually, I'm a huge LP fan. However, I'm not going to go crazy over everything they put out just because it's LP. I don't care what some of you say, they could put out an album of dance tracks and country music and you would be falling over yourselves to say it was "so original", and " so epic." The snippets are a fairly good representation of what we can expect to hear on the album, and I think it's crap. If they truly don't care what people think, good for them, but I guarantee you this album will be reviewed poorly and will not sell anywhere near as well as their previous albums. Half the tracks sound like bad dance remixes. To me, this is a classic example of a band over thinking. You want a new direction, fine, but don't completely alienate your old sound. There is a way to make things sound fresh without making a 90% electronic record. What the hell does Brad do on these songs?? It's ridiculous, and it saddens me that my favorite band has chosen to go in this direction.

How do the snippets not give a good representation of the song?? Do you think their is some killer guitar riff and then it changes to a synth ballad?? Give me a break, this is what the album sounds like. I just don't understand the decision to abandon the sound that has gotten them to where they are. Do they really think this is what their fans want?? Some of you guys will go crazy over anything they put out, but alot of others won't.

I know its only 30 second snippets, but it sounds like crap to me. I mean WTF? I can understand some experimenting, but this is crap. they will lose a portion of their fanbase with this. I'll buy it, because I can't help myself, but I am disappointed already. Three years in the making and this is what they want their new sound to be? It sounds like Mike has had too much time to play with all of his beat making toys. I can't believe the other guys are into this sound. Half the songs sound like dance remixes....terrible, just terrible..and kind of sad too.

The whole thing is a mess, but I was still able to get tix. I was on here, the LPU event page for the show, and Ticketmaster at the same time and when someone figured out the password, I bought the tix immediately. I understand everyone being pissed, and it was a piss poor job by the LPU as usual, but if you really wanted tix you could have gotten them by being resourceful.
