  1. Here you will find an interview with Chester from New Zealand's Radio Hauraki. This is the second radio interview Chester has done in the lead up to their one-off NZ show in Auckland. http://www.hauraki.co.nz/player/ondemand/l...-park-interview
  2. I am wanting to create a full list of all Linkin Park releases from the LIVING THINGS album cycle. I would also like to include international releases, rare item release if there are any (e.g. Gundam from the ATS era) etc. Please help me to complete this list. LIVING THINGS - CD LIVING THINGS: Australian Tour Edition - CD LIVING THINGS - Vinyl LIVING THINGS Remix Subscription - linkinpark.com BURN IT DOWN - CD Single BURN IT DOWN - EU CD Single LOST IN THE ECHO - Promo CD Single CASTLE OF GLASS - Promo CD Single CASTLE OF GLASS - German CD Single
  3. Wait . . I didn't know there was another NZ-er on the message boards. Where in New Zealand are you from? Hopefully, I will meet you at The Summit. P.S. Grand interview haha. Chester is full of some wicked yarns.
  4. This is a relatively misinformed comment so please correct me if I'm wrong. I don't believe a lot will change on the direct LP front however I think discontinuing the Warner contract will allow room for side projects to grow e.g. Machine Shop Recordings amongst other projects. Warner seems to stem projects which makes me wonder if Mike has been abstaining from a new Fort Minor album until the contract with Warner has ended. As I stated before, a misinformed statement so please feel free to correct me. EDIT: Just read above statements about Machine Shop. Damn that's a shame because Mike & Brad were super passionate about MSR.
  5. THIS. THIS. THIS. I watch Live In Texas just for this and A Place For My Head. A setlist including P5hng Me Aw*y, LITE and POWERLESS would make me a happy boy. I already know that the rest of the setlist will be a wicked set of hits but these three need to be in there. I'm not normally a big POWERLESS fan but I can imagine it being such a good live performance.
  6. Would I be right in saying that the link in the original post is the one that the LPU were supposed to get a free download for ? Because a ) I didn't get a code and b ) it's just downloading now saying that i purchased it. I am so confused right now.
  7. Apologies for the double post however the Nü Metal Mixtape has been released. Visit mikeshinoda.com or Mike's Soundcloud to hear the mixtape in full. Did not see the second page of posts . . . Awkward.
  8. Nope. Keep an eye on his soundcloud for updates. This is where he has released all other mixtapes & assuming from his previous tweet he will release the Nu Metal Mixtape here too.
  9. I'm not sure what to think just yet. It feels slightly Julien-K ish but it doesn't seem like it's THAT exciting. but it's not bad. It's just your average slow paced electro rock track.
  10. Mike has finished scoring The Raid. The movie is completely finished. And at this point in time, there are no side projects being worked on. As long as it stays that way, this will be the first album since Meteora that's had no side distractions. As you've said, anything is possible and maybe some side projects will start creeping up but for now I'm keeping my hopes up.
  11. I'm certain it won't be that soon but I'm confident it will be released before 2013. Mike has been saying in all interviews that he wants this album to come out faster than any other album which is why they're not doing many shows right now. Especially if they've been writing songs on the road for the A Thousand Suns World Tour.
  12. I like it. To be honest, it's nothing spectacular but it is pretty cool.If SDC were on tour with Linkin Park again at any point, it'd be sick to see them debut Robot Boy like that.
  13. Over in New Zealand, we have all been watching and praying. It's on the headlines of every newspaper and every news bulletin and everyday looks just as devastating. I don't have a credit card (or much money left at all, for that matter) but I will talk to the family about donating and until then, my thoughts and prayers are with Queensland and Melbourne.
  14. I discovered LPLive.net through word of mouth via LPAssociation.com and LP.com I wanted to be a part of the site because I love getting amongst the community, especially a Linkin Park crazed one where people think similarly to myself.
  15. I wouldn't mind one either thanks. I missed the first half because of work.
  16. That was a great LPTV. It makes me so jealous of the people that got to go to the LPU Summit. It looks like you guys had so much fun (: As for the live tracks, I'm not getting too excited but I would like to hear them.
  17. This is what I get for not going on the computer in days. For sure, this would be my favorite set list of 2010, possibly ever. All of the videos are looking very cool. Looking forward to the DSP.
  18. We haven't had a good one in a while (: Plus, Metallica came down after the earthquake. But overall, I think it is much too late for Linkin Park to announce New Zealand tour dates considering they would only be announcing it days before the concert.
  19. Jeez, five years? That's fuckin' insane. Fort Minor helped me discover that there is a massive world of music outside of rock and it's not all that bad. Happy Birthday The Rising Tied, Well done Mr. Shinoda and thank you for teaching me how amazing diversity can be. I started listing my favorite tracks but I was kind of listing the whole album.
  20. It had downloaded ten percent and then it stopped and said that files are missing. I deleted any file to do with the torrent, downloaded the torrent again and tried again but now it just won't download, even though there are five seeders and no leechers.
  21. Am I the only person who is having troubles with Paris?
  22. The only song I've really listened to on No Sun Today is actually is Drag but it is such a good song. I will get around to listening to the whole album some day.
