  1. I'll never forget the whiplash from excitement to disappointment when Heavy debuted in February, but then we were told the album wasn't coming until May. I didn't understand why there was such a long gap. Then by the time the album came out, they had released 40% of it already.
  2. The demo is audible in the Rock Band multitracks of ITE, on the kick drum track.
  3. I haven't downloaded yet, but apparently In The End leaked. Full multitracks, not the Rock Band version.
  4. Those are Linkin Park songs. This is a Mike Shinoda album. You should judge this album on its own merits, not by comparing it to past LP albums. Really unfair to do that, especially considering the very reason that this album exists.
  5. Are you being sarcastic?
  6. Definitely my favorite song from the album so far.
  7. I think itll be sooner than the 25th.
  8. I agree with what you're saying. I remember on the Making of MTM, Mike said that Chester was one of the best singers of our time and that nobody could ever sing his songs and make them sound anything like him. I 100% agree with him on that. That's another reason I would rather Mike carry on as the singer of LP. His voice is so different from Chester's that rather than trying to sound like Chester, Mike would bring an entirely different dynamic to all of their songs. That would be a way, for me at least, to avoid comparing his performances to Chester's. They both have their own distinct styles vocally. There would be no comparison to be made. Plus...it's Mike. If anybody was going to carry on the legacy of Linkin Park's music, I would rather it be someone who was there with Chester in the band all along. Someone who wrote a lot of the lyrics and lived with the songs and has a strong personal connection to the material.
  9. I feel like a vocal coach would definitely help. A vocal coach would help anyone regardless of situation, though. Mike is already a great singer, but he may need to work on his stamina if LP is going to resume touring on a scale anything close to before with him as the only vocalist. I can see how his confidence may also be an issue, especially knowing that he'll be up there singing songs that Chester used to sing. I just hope he realizes that he IS a good singer, and that he has the full support of the entire fan base behind him. Personally I would rather him sing the songs he can, and have the crowd sing some of the parts he can't (the bridges of APFMH, Faint, and OSC for example) rather than bring in anyone else just so that they can sing those parts. I think a lot of LP fans would agree with that.
  10. Yeah, LITE is different because there's more separation then in the video games, but not as much separation as the full sessions that have been leaking recently. LITE and ALTNC stems came from the same website.
  11. That's correct. Leave Out All the Rest is out but the separation isn't full, and they used the guitar from Astat's cover for some reason. I would also consider Lost in the Echo.
  12. Are you asking about multitracks that are full separation, and not from a video game?
  13. No problem! So much has come out recently that it does get hard to keep track of sometimes.
  14. These are just from LP's main albums. There are others such as New Divide and ALTNC that I didn't count in this list. And there's a chance I'm missing some anyway lol... I'm just going from my memory right now. Hybrid Theory: Papercut One Step Closer Crawling Runaway By Myself In the End Forgotten Pushing Me Away Meteora: Somewhere I Belong Lying From You Breaking the Habit Numb Minutes to Midnight: Given Up Leave Out All the Rest Bleed It Out Shadow of the Day What I've Done A Thousand Suns Burning in the Skies Waiting for the End Blackout Wretches and Kings The Catalyst The Messenger Living Things: Lost in the Echo Burn It Down Roads Untraveled The Hunting Party: Guilty All the Same Rebellion One More Light: Good Goodbye (Demo) Battle Symphony Heavy
  15. Literally not one person is saying "fuck Chester". Anybody that said that would have absolutely no place here on this site and they would have no right to even call themselves an LP fan. I don't think I would have any interest at all in LP's future if they replace Chester with someone else. That's the only solution I would be actively against, honestly. Also, one performance isn't a good indicator of anything. Chester himself had off nights where he would struggle to hit certain notes, and then he would bounce back better than ever. It happens.
  16. I don't think you should be attacked for saying that. You didn't say anything inappropriate. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. However I will say that once he mixed Bleed It Out with Good Goodbye of all songs, I immediately knew it wouldn't go over well with you lol
  17. Pretty sure the stream was giving us soundboard audio, which is why we could barely hear the crowd.
  18. Really cool to see a pre-show post again. Well researched and well written as always. A lot of cool info in here.
  19. Im pretty sure he said that. All the members of LP were working on their own parts to the song if Im not mistaken.

  21. The newer uploads, including the Radiance, Iridescent sample, New Divide samples, WTCFM samples.... they're all from one of Mike's keyboards that was sold. The samples were uploaded here on LPL by the person who bought them. Most of the other tracks that they posted "previews" of are already out. Then there are others, like the Faint one for instance. That is super old from a remix contest or something from like 10 years ago. Makes me think whoever that is isn't the actual source of anything and is just trying to sell things they either bought or came across themselves.
  22. One More Light is one of the most poignantly beautiful songs the band has ever written. Good Goodbye provides a moment of levity on an otherwise heavy (no pun intended) album.
  23. Whatever they decide to do, I'll ultimately support. Personally, though, I would prefer that Mike step up as the sole front man of LP. Play the songs he can pull off. Alter some songs that are out of his range normally. Play some of his solo songs after converting them to full-band material. I realize some people will vehemently disagree with me, and say that it would be inappropriate for Mike to play any of his solo stuff under the LP name, but I disagree. I would have agreed if Chester was alive. I didn't really like Welcome being played by LP, for example. The only positive to that was that it gave Chester's voice a break. Chester is gone, though, as much as that still hurts to say. The Chester-era of LP is over, and the next chapter is LP's to write. If doing any of that would help fill out a full set as a 5-piece, then I would rather that as opposed to bringing in another vocalist on a permanent basis. Outside of a tribute show or special guest, I really wouldn't want to hear anybody else but Mike or the crowd singing Chester's parts on a regular basis
  24. Mike has sung on every song released so far from his album. 3 of the 6 released songs are all singing. One could argue that Watching As I Fall is also all singing, but whatever.
  25. Technically, yeah. Honestly though, in my opinion, UIB is far superior to About You both lyrically and in terms of ambition.
