  1. I'd love to see LP related with something heavy again, since they haven't done a real loud songs for years...So maybe a Metal DTD album? On the other side, I'm not sure heavy guitars and screamings would fit the MFR's goal...Just imgine: "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!YOU ARE NOT ALOOOOOOOOONNNNNE!!!! AAAAAAAARGHHHHHHHH!!!!FUUUUUUCK HEARTQUAKESSSSS!!!!!!!!! " Anyway This....
  2. All I wanted to say. I listen to a lot of complex stuffs and I'm still enjoying Linkin Park songs...
  3. My favorite band member is Mike, obviously. He is the band's brain, and without him, LP would become a classic (and boring?) rock band. I know Chester is really important too, because of his voice and charisma, but honestly, he doesn't bring a lot to the music in itself. In my opinion, Mike composes Linkin Park music with the help of some other members, and uses Chester only like an instrument, after having finished the instrumentals, the melodies,.... It's maybe extreme point of view, but probably not so far from the truth...
  4. The realease of next LPU CD would indeed be the perfect situation for leaking some unreleased songs from the HT era... ->10th anniversary of LPU ->10th anniversary of HT It would give us more informations about the early Linkin Park day's...Wich is always great!
  5. It seems like I'm coming too late ...no matter....Happy birhtday man!!!! Thanks for all the work you 've put into LPL I wonder if in 2006, you could imagine the site you were starting would become the greatest Linkin Park fansite on the web...
  6. Mike edited his post about that "missing shows part": I think it's clear enough now that we will probably never get those shows, or at least most of them :-/
  7. 34...wow...time is running too fast ! Happy birthday Chester! Really, one of the best singer of the 21st century
  8. There are some crazy fans right here...Bedrooms entirely covered by LP posters, ton of CD's,...WOW! I'm really impressed....Wish to all of you luck in this competition
  9. Killing Fields is currently one of my favorite JK song, so I voted for it ...=D
  10. Cool video I would have prefered seeing a video for the kenna's song " Never Let Me Down" though, but well, I guess this song is more fitting with Haiti context.
  11. I completely agree with Chester's reaction. If the fans don't respect the physical integrity of other fans, they don't deserve autographs or anything else.
  12. Fucking amazing tour!!!! Cologne was amesome indeed, the crowd was in fire. I couldn't make a review of the shows I went to (because of my "not so good" English), but I can tell the positive/negative points of the tour though: + Intimate rocking shows!!!! + Made me discover The Delta Fiasco...At first , I didn't liked them so much, but now, yes (at least some of their songs) + Met a lot of cool people (Lee, Amit, Alex, Tomer,...) +...and Elias! (Would have liked meeting the other band members too, but I couldn't, unfortunately) + First time I came in Germany...Cologne has a beautiful Cathedral =D +++ And, of course, the LPL poster given to Julien-K! - some of the security guys were really not cool - and the story about the girl who passed out...Some of the fans are such individualist, they only care about getting an autograph from Chester...I'm sure they wouldn't react if a guy would die in front of them because of them pushing each other too strong...I saw an other girl who was feeling sick in Cologne for the same reason, it's not cool at all... ***And yes, cool pictures!! I'm on the first one =D
  13. You've got talent, man I especially liked the parts with Montreal and A.15....
  14. Wow, it's totally epic! I didn't even know it was for Julien-K when I signed....I'm impressed by LPLive and its members, really =D
  15. Since this thread is basically about the LPL Meet'Greets, can somebody add me to the Koln list? I'm going!
  16. So finally no dsp's we didn't have yet? Well, it's disappointing, but honestly, I had never been really excited about those one...I'm much more interested by the 8 bit-rebellion game. And also... Totally agreed
  17. Wilderness was one of those...But he didn't exactly jump in the canal, he fell into it! :-/I think people will remember the canals of Amsterdam now... Otherwise, I was at the Brussel show and it was fucking kick-ass! The avenue was really tiny, and so almost everyone was near the stage. The crowd was awesome too...Hope Chester will come back in Belgium one day =D Also, I met some LPL members (including Wilderness and Thapoet), really cool guys. I didn't understand everything they were saying because of the language barrier though, I guess I have to still improve my English ^^ After the show, I eventually met Elias, talked a little bit with him, and took a photo =D Really, it was a totally badass day! I could even go to the Koln show now...It's not too far from Belgium and it will be one of the last chance to see DBS live before a long time (I think), so...will see what happen
  18. +1....However, not too much songs either I think. I'd say something like 2 or 3 new songs, like they did before the MTM release (when they leaked What I've Done , No More Sorrow, and Given Up)
  19. I suppose it will be the same system in Brussel, right?
  20. This is kick-ass news! Love the beats...Especially Catharsis and Madison, which could have been, in my opinion, perfect songs if they were vocals in it.
  21. Well, to me, Qwerty at Summer Sonic 2006 was easily their best live performance ever. Chester's screamings in it are simply hardcore! \m/ Other than, I'd say: - And One (Rock Am Ring 2001) - High Voltage (Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2002) - By Myself (Live In Texas) - Wish (but not the Rock Am Ring one, I can't say where the show was...here is a video of it : ) Concerning the more recent show, I agree with the songs which have been quoted in this thread
  22. I'm really looking forward to saturday...Hope to see you there and have a ton of fun The problem is...I haven't got a fucking idea about where we could meet...I would prefer before the show, because I'm going alone, but then, where?
  23. Cool to see a video of it, but the parts when we can see the arms of dead guys are just not for me. I mean, I know it shows us the reality, but fuck, I have always been thinking that showing dead people with the intention of making somebody feeling sad is a little bit disrespectful. Would you like that someone was making a footage with photos of you being death? No, and I bet the Haitians in this video wouldnt have liked it either. Really, I'm not into those kinds of things. On the other side, LP made this video only for a good cause, I'm not going to complain too much.
  24. The GGG remix is really great...Moreover, it made me discover Metric back then, when Mike released it for the first time, and now I'm a fan of this band too...
  25. Well, I have exactly the same haircut now than Chester in this period...lol BTW, a killer performance
