  1. Right when was this interview actually done...because Mike says they haven't confirmed a producer yet I thought it was set that Rick was producing this new album as well?
  2. I wouldn't expect a full UK tour, but I'd expect more than one tour date for the whole of the UK...maybe 3 but the whole UK doesn't revolve around london even though many bands seem to think so. I know obviously bands do come further north, however london is excessively expensive to travel to and from not to mention gig tickets and accomodation...
  3. Haha, they're definitely real I'm sat next to my pair at the moment. Got mine for £35 from amazon
  4. Why, thank you
  5. I never realised they hated the video so much haha! Also if you actually read what Mike's said he is on twitter but he's using it as his bitch by doing a twitter feed from his blog so he's outdone PHX completely haha!
  6. Nah he isn't, you should just learn to take his tweets with a piece of salt. He's only having a joke, but I can understand him getting pissed about people asking him questions to ask to other band members - that's pretty lame and harsh...
  7. Haha, maybe they decided they are going to adapt it...joking that's blatantly not going to happen. I still can't believe looking at those that any of us believed them...and I wonder who actually released them. Also what the hell is (w/#3) next to NRL? lol
  8. To me I take this more as being experimental rather than actually sounding like those three things. And at the end of the day should it make it to the album you won't recognise the song from the description because LP wouldn't want a song that sounded like somebody else... On the guitar solo note, I'm still very undecided - they've never been a prominent part of LPs songs and they could then just be generalised into a rock/metal band who plays guitar solos like most other rock bands. However, it would be nice to see some more experimental guitar and more difficult guitar structures. As my music tastes have expanded over the years and listening to LP I do sometimes feel they're average musicians compared to other bands, I'm not having a go at the band at all here because I love their music and will until the day I die and they will always be my favourite band, but it just seems the guitars are very basic and the bass is always played very low barring a few songs. I'm not asking for a straight up rock/metal album such as metallica/a7x/bullet something like that, I'd quite like to see guitar evolution along with the electronic sound. Maybe something like ND but with a much more difficult guitar...hopefully someone sees where I'm going here
  9. LP don't choose which shows they're gonna go to, the festivals contact them and ask them to play
  10. Well at least hopefully from this video you can see that the crowd at knebworth was actually very much for LP unlike the great slagging off it got from that recording a month ago
  11. That's like way over a year old haha, but it was thoughtful of you to drop it in anyway
  12. What was the difference between the logo for meteora and for HT because Mike said they changed it with every album...does he mean after the release of LIT? Nice to see there will hopefully be a new stage because after the Euro winter tour the stage was a little lame - nothing compared to what they used to be, I especially liked the one for Summer Sonic! And also nice to hear they're considering something special for HT 10th anniversary

  14. That still works so rather than ask for a download link - search that for now
  15. Me or the guy above me? If me, why?
  16. Chester sent you the link?
  17. I don't think FTI would really count... I would put And One in there and Step Up. The revamped High Voltage for HT that didn't make it. Either original My December or the live one from SFTU unless he did a better one elsewhere? Dunno if it would class as rare but By Myself from LIT. Definitely put ASP and QWERTY on there, I actually prefer the studio version they did but whichever you think he'll prefer BTH from Edgefest unless of course he went to the show with you haha. Put She Couldn't on there for definite. Erm POA crystal method from LPU2. What else...Hip hop Medley and Wish RME and that's me done - hope this helps!
  18. I'm not gonna do a full set just the encore...dunno if you could class it as completely unrealistic but it depends if APFMH ever gets played again. ---1st encore--- New Divde (maybe a transition piece into:) Faint ---2nd encore--- A Place for my Head One Step Closer (Reanimation intro and bridge, extended outro) Onto the subject of a full album in one set - I know both Maiden and Metallica have done it and going by the success of HT I think it would only be right that they did this at least once next year to celebrate 10 years! Admittedly I would love to be at this show as it would be amazing, maybe do an LPU tour and do it there? That would be awesome!
  19. How about adding in a 'Mark all topics as read' button then you know which topics are new and aren't new
  20. I would imagine it will be before 9th October because that's when most of Europe gets OOA, just remember you have to sort travel expense out and they may not give you a whole lot of notice to book your flight/train/bus if that's how you would be getting there
  21. I'm hoping to go to a UK show but it depends whether I've started university and where the shows are taking place. I think they will play a couple of songs no-one has heard yet to be honest, but I doubt they'd do an LP cover - it's not like Mike who could use Reanimation as back up. I think they may throw in technical difficulties though?
  22. I've not had a bad experience with band merch, though just because it was started by Brad and his father does not automatically mean it will be the best company in the world...
  23. To be honest I don't really like Fire that much , it's okay but I think CBI and MS are much better
  24. No, he sucked in 04/05. He does quite well now, shouts more than screams but still good Chester is good in the main, a few songs he's off and one or two he sings instead of screams. These would be better if they were done how they used to, but if the voice changes he can't help it
  25. I'd heard Molly's Chamber and wasn't impressed but that was it and that was through friends rather than radio
