Not sure how I missed the LPA 2007 release as i was active way before that. Did LPA actually release them for a few hours or was it blocked shortly before release ? If so i wonder if there are copies floating around

Don’t agree on the 2 you mentioned, these are among my favs on Amends and god tier, but totally respect your opinion 😊 Really haha ? I cant stand them vs originals. Georgous songs in their own right but not the “ true “ versions to me lol. B12 i cant decide, new one is epic and old one is so good. She shines, both are amazing IMO Shouting out, god tier, cannot big up enough, same as the amends stripped version, best track on album. Sickness - new one, original great but Amends version wins. Sometimes - Basically the same but cleaner, same as WITE, Amends versions win just by production quality. All in all there are elements i miss on both versions on most tracks. Anything, Anything (2021 version ) wins because its harder, rocks more, but its basically the same type of rework as WITE and Sometimes Soul Song - both amazing, in a toss up i would say Amends version Just like Heroin - prefer the original Oh of course lol, opinions are what makes us, all good !

oh yeah dont get me wrong Shouting Out Amends version is god tier and also there are some versions that to me are the best. Just felt like they messed up In time, down syndrome, i prefer the original instrumentals.

Random thoughts. Wish it was the 2018 Hole, that thing is epic and its just grown into the definitive hole for me over the years, sad that people will never hear it. Starting to fly has become one of my favourite gems of GD, its seriously epic, i no longer look at the old versions of GD songs as non ‘ canon ‘ if you will lol, i believe both versions should exist side by side as the definitive versions, as there are reworked songs that blow the old ones out of the water, and vice versa ( in time, down syndrome, im looking at you ) Also believe we now know the majority of the tracks, assuming nothing has changed Anything, anything ( new version not the 2021 version ) Hole Saturation Believe Me Wake Holding on Drag Spin Anyone heard anything else ?

I actually love the idea but theres this mental block in my head that says new members new band. I know it doesnt make sense, but the only way it will be LP to me is the other 5 only. We will have to see

I believe people were also saying in 2020 for 2021. So basically everyone wanted an album no matter what asap. I get that, but the only way i could ever accept LP coming back is with MS as lead. I hate it when bands get new vocalist, to me it will be a completely different band. Tough times ahead

Thats just the thing you have no idea if they “ are ready “ its just the fan in you talking. I dont blame you, but Im just saying. Remember when the fan base were saying 2020 should be the year they release a new album ? LOL. They have lost their lead singer, if they dont come back ever i dont blame them as it wont be the LP you remember.

I hope we dont get LP news for years. If they announce a comeback, sad times for those like me that only see LP as including Chester, the end of the chester era etc If they dont then that allows more time to pass and keeps the door open.

Enjoy these years while we can. We have new GD and an unreleased Chester song. I cant help but but be sad when i think of, say 2029 when there is no more material to release, etc ( despite the hundreds of demos/outtakes) I love OML album, and would love to hear Friendly Fire, but a part of me always wants to have something in the vault thats never been heard, forever 🤣

iconic logo, and i loved how it was altered each album. Love the ATS one, and love the stripped back OML one. In fact i think OML had some of the best font design in an LP album. Just gorgeous.

Me too. I just remember WITE dropping in jan and the album was june wasnt it, but it did get delayed due too to covid
