  1. That isn't NRG right? It's nice that they return the favor.
  2. Can I ask you something? Why are you referring to Mike and Chester in stead of the 'protagonist'? I don't believe that Mike has been through all this (well.. duhh) and it would make him a very pessimistic person, which he is not.
  3. There is also a radio edit of What I've Done. This came out on iTunes the day it released and does not have a half of a second of the outro from Shadow of the Day in it.
  4. Normally the tracklist was already out there. Via BMI, a Japanese cd or BestBuy ( I think). It is funny that this year is otherwise.
  5. I'd like topics about songs and people giving their own interpretation on them. That would really open worlds to people. To see things in a way you haven't seen it before, in an other light.
  6. I don't think that Linkin Park is preaching religion. I think they sing from the perspective of people who are in trouble and think that way, not neccessarily trying to stimulate religion.
  7. But they also said that they were doing it this time differently. Not as the final stage anymore but also during writing and recording.
  8. I felt the same with Minutes to Midnight but I got used to it that I didn't payed attention on it. I'm referring to the abrubt endings of Given Up, the unsatisfactory end of Leave Out All the Rest, the end of Hands Held High sounds unfinished and the end of In Between sounds so uninspired. But the songs were good, better than the songs off Living Things. I think the Living Things songs lack the creativity and geniality that A Thousand Suns had.
  9. It is quite a contrast what Mike and what Chester say. Mike is the more careful one with "we don't know where this album is heading for" or something like that. I think he did that in one of his recent interviews. Chester, however, is like yeaaah new album sooon.
  10. That is mostly because What I've Done and A Light that Never Comes share the same chord progression. Try singing What I've Done on top of the piano.
  11. But it isn't realistic because Chester has his sideprojects. So I didn't picked that one.
  12. None of the mentioned options for me, please. I rather have the full focus on Linkin Park as that is where Mike truly shines. But when Chester is busy with one of his sideprojects, Dead by Sunirse, Stone Temple Pilots or maybe something else, Mike could make use of that time to record some Fort Minor material. What I'm curious about is how Fort Minor will sound because I don't think it will sounds like The Rising Tied at all (and it won't be that good).
  13. I remember people calling the album Trials and Tribulations.
  14. Power ballad isn't a genre. My thoughts on A Thousand Suns. Burning in the Skies: Electronic rock When They Come for Me: Rap rock (?), alternative hip hop Robot Boy: Electronica Jornada del Muerto: Electronica Waiting for the End: Alternative rock, electronic rock, electronica. (influences of industrial rock?) Blackout: Electronica, electronic rock Wretches and Kings: Rapcore, alternative hiphop, turntablism (?) Iridescent: Alternative rock The Catalyst: Electronic rock, industrial rock (?), rapcore, synth rock The Messenger: Acoustic rock
  15. Skipees, make a "Imperfections in Linkin Park songs"-list! On-topic: the album is available for stream in the Netherlands: http://click.e.wmg.com/?qs=de1292d85b656d0...333d696b6a67a41.
  16. What an abstract video. I like Ghost Town Media but they're putting too much CGI in this. I didn't got the plot, I only saw a cyber world (which wasn't a pretty one but that's an aesthetics choice), some faces and a girl. The making of is on http://dell.com/linkinpark/
  17. That is true, sir. But I think it is interesting to know these because we know how hard it was for them to pick a title. Can't remember. Just some stuff I wrote down during the years. It is possible they're from the Making of dvd.
  18. I also wrote something down so here's my list * ''Minutes to Midnight'' - ''Almanac'', ''Argue. Agree.'', ''Ascend'', ''Dictionary'', ''In Cold Blood'', ''In Triumph & Tragedy'', ''Linkin Park'', ''Leave Out All the Rest'' & ''Triumph in Tragedy'' ** ''Wake'' - ''WAKE Album Intro Idea'' ** ''Given Up'' - ''21 Stitches'' ** ''Leave Out All the Rest'' - ''Fear'' & ''When My Time Comes'' ** "Bleed It Out" - ''Accident'' & ''Re-f***ing-write'' ** ''Shadow of the Day'' - ''Saint'' ** ''What I've Done'' - ''Regrets'' & ''Bang Three'' ** ''Hands Held High'' - ''Song Q'' ** ''No More Sorrow'' - ''Ebow Idea'' ** ''Valentine's Day'' - ''Love and Sadness'' ** ''In Between'' - ''Apologies'' ** ''In Pieces'' - ''Pictures'' ** ''The Little Things Give You Away'' - ''Drum Song'' ** ''No Roads Left'' - ''Patients'' & ''No Roads Left But One''
  19. US Billboard Rock Airplay Debut/Greatest Gainer No. 15 "A Light That Never Comes" Linkin Park X Steve Aoki Alternative Songs Debut/Greatest Gainer No. 19 "A Light That Never Comes" Linkin Park X Steve Aoki
  20. The making of ONE song called ALTNC is combined going to be longer than the making of an album called Living Things....
  21. Just give Joe, Rob, Dave and Bradford some nice outfits and let them dance.
