  1. The point of the DVD was more to show the mindset of the band during the recording than to actually show the process of the recording. I liked it because it was a different take on what a "making of" DVD can be.
  2. I paid for it too. I liked the DVD because it was different from the previous DVDs.
  3. I thought the old-fashioned way was to release the video and the single on the same day.
  4. Not really a remix. The band just did the song in their band's style. Sounds pretty cool. I may have to check out some more stuff by these guys.
  5. But Trey Songz sucks. John Legend FTW!
  6. Here's my tentative setup for ATS: 1. The Requiem/The Radiance 2. Burning in the Skies 3. Empty Spaces/When They Come For Me 4. Robot Boy 5. Jornada Del Muerto 6. Waitiing for the End 7. Blackout 8. Wretches and Kings 9. Wisdom, Justice, and Love 10. Iridescent 11. Fallout/The Catalyst (since the Fallout synth is the intro synth for the Catalyst [or is at least very similar]) 12. The Messenger I think that should set up the election nicely.
  7. I'll bet you we get at least one of these on the LPUX CD and another on the LPU 11 CD.
  8. Everyone needs to stop complaining about the DVD. We've got some good insight into the recording of the album through the LPTV videos and stuff. I'm sure they're not going to stop giving us videos like that and I'm sure somebody can edit them into a making-of DVD or video for the album.
  9. So, is the remix done by the band Does it Offend You, Yeah?? Or is that just a coincidence? Edit: read further on the Wiki page and appear to have answered my question. It says that it is. Awesome.
  10. But what if Trey Songz debuted at number one and one of his fans decided to bash you for liking Linkiin Park? Would you be unable to defend yourself because LP took the number 2 spot? And at the same time: would you feel like Trey Songz is better if one of his fans pulled out the fact that his album went #1? It seems like a pretty weak stance to say that an album is better based on sales.
  11. Congrats to LP. Though I've never seen the big deal about chart positions.
  12. The round is finished: Plc.4 Mie Haed 2 P5hng Me A*wy 3 Enth E Nd 6 Pts.OF.Athrty 2 Ppr:kut 1 My<Dsmbr 3 Enth E Nd is gone. I can't believe that 3 people voted for Pushing! 13. Voted for Eminem, B.o.B., and LP. There's definitely way too much Gaga in these nominees.
  14. Somebody should just make fake numbers for Chester to keep him happy. lol
  15. This. I love Chester, but I'd rather he just stick to Linkin Park. I was not a fan of Dead By Sunrise.
  16. I don't think that sounds like Serj.
  17. I highly doubt they got the idea from the game Fallout 3, even as amazing as that game is.
  18. This is a really nice interpretation. It was a good read, thanks.
  19. Why does everybody care about how much it sells? If you like the music, the amount of sales shouldn't change that. And, let's be honest, it's a Linkin Park album and will sell enough to go at least platinum eventually.
  20. I'll see it as soon as I can. It's just that from the three live performances I've heard, it sounds pretty weak live.
  21. The Catalyst is pretty weak live. Too bad it will never be removed from setlists since it's a single.
