Isn't that the exact rumor from Brazil's fans, that the band was filming the content for a documentary like that while in Brazil? That is not a safe assumption after knowing Mike has recorded a majority of guitars on some of the past LP albums. It is probably a mix on From Zero of Mike and Brad. That is one of several clues that gave away Emily was the new singer well in advance of the comeback. No fan group or fan online wanted to ruin any special moment the band had planned, and the press did absolutely zero homework on a singer to the point where they seemed to intentionally be deceiving people with names they were throwing out. They do shoot every single behind the scenes moment. More than ever now.

Colin went live on TikTok on April 8th - it unfortunately looks like there is no full recording available at least yet. The most notable thing he mentioned was about QWERTY, interestingly saying: "QWERTY is a good song. We might put it in, I don't know. We’re rehearsing soon, so we'll uhh.... that might be in the set, it might not, I don't know." Understandably this caused some interest with fans, as the song has only been performed nine times in 2006 and 2007. It was up for a possible performance at the 2011 Hamburg 2011 LPU Summit but seemed to cause some disagreements with the band on if they should play it or not, eventually settling on a Joe idea to perform a song by someone else with Mike recommending Adele's Rolling in the Deep. Linkin Park's last performance of QWERTY, on August 21, 2007 in Toronto, Canada - THAT'S how bad videos were back then. From 2012 to 2013, Linkin Park racked up 44 performances of VICTIMIZED, which had the bridge of QWERTY mashed into it. The last performance of that was on August 19, 2013 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. That will bring it to over 6,400+ days since QWERTY was played in full and 4,200+ days since it was performed in any form. On the From Zero World Tour, the band has pulled out surprise performances of quite a few songs, with notable debuts of Friendly Fire (also off of the Papercuts greatest hits compilation, like QWERTY), Keys to the Kingdom, and All For Nothing. The setlists have changed every leg of the tour so far with a substantial amount of songs rotating in and out right now. With Up From The Bottom expected to make its live debut, is there room for QWERTY? Also on the TikTok Live, Colin showed off his tattoos. We'll let you know if a full recording surfaces. And we'll be on the watch to see if QWERTY pops up.

Mike Jones from iHeartMedia recently connected with Emily and Phoenix virtually to interview them about Up From The Bottom, the From Zero Deluxe Edition, upcoming shows, the general state of the band, and more.
-
The festival apparently posted some clips of the shows online recently, according to BroodingAnanas.

Absolutely, we'll get the sources updated for the shows.

Linkin Park recently restructured their 2025 South American Tour for this fall and notably left off two shows originally announced in 2024 - Rio de Janeiro and Porto Alegre. With Rio being the second-most populous city in Brazil, it was odd that it was left off of the tour. Now, a new report from FogãoNET sheds some light into the cancellation of the concert in early November 2025. With Live Nation looking to host Linkin Park at Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos in Rio, the Botafogo de Futebol e Regata soccer club in Rio has denied the show, citing scheduling concerns with its 2025 season. Linkin Park will perform in São Paulo one day before the second game of the Copa do Brasil final, interestingly. So if that show is going to get two nights, it will have to be on the 7th (the day prior. The report also says that the Palmeiras club rejected a concert by Linkin Park at Allianz Parque, the stadium they played two shows in last fall. The report says, "Botafogo rejected an offer from promoter Live Nation to host a concert by the band Linkin Park at the Nilton Santos Stadium in November, fearing it would be without its stadium in the decisive stages of the 2025 season, reported “Canal do Nicola”. In addition to Botafogo, Palmeiras also rejected hosting a concert by the band at Allianz Parque." Linkin Park ended up adding a show in Curitiba on November 5, 2025. It looks like if they want their selection of cities and venues in Brazil, they will have to visit in a different time of the year.

Yeah. Pit was over $300 - super expensive. The show sold pretty poorly. They undoubtedly did a ton of North American shows after 2 (almost fully) canceled tours in a row here. But in the future it would not be surprising to see like 10-15 show North American runs. Save the amount of shows for internationally where they are bigger than ever. Agreed. Makes way more sense financially and demand-wise to go elsewhere in early 2026. They are a massive European band and it makes sense to do the outdoor stadiums in the summer, but maybe they'll hit Australia/New Zealand and Asia or something - who knows.

The bridge is really good on this track. Solid song.

Linkin Park has announced a sale for the 2025 North American leg of the From Zero World Tour: "North America: "Up From The Bottom" tickets are now available on the From Zero World Tour. For $39.50 (plus fees & tax where applicable), you can request randomly assigned seats while supplies last. Submit your request by April 2, 2025 at 11:59pm PT at http://LinkinPark.Tickets."

Totally thought "Fortnite Festival" meant it was some kind of show with cartoons like the Gorillaz do, or something. Like an LP performance. lol
-
Or they are adding more than expected in some cities and they need to adjust accordingly? Who knows - totally unknown for now.

Linkin Park has announced that on Thursday, March 27 at 4pm PT, they will reveal a redone South American Tour for fall 2025. Previously announced with the From Zero World Tour announcement last year, only dates and cities were revealed without confirmed venues or on-sale information. It appears the tour was still being booked at that time. With shows being removed from the band's website this past week, it looks like some shuffling has occurred (like 2012) and we will see redone dates for the tour. We'll see what they announce but as of today, this is the largest tour in South America that Linkin Park has ever performed - with shows in Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil. EDIT 3/17: The new tour dates for South America later this year have been confirmed! The band will be performing in stadiums throughout the continent. October 25, 2025: Distrito Verde, Bogotá, Colombia October 28, 2025: Estadio San Marcos, Lima, Peru October 31, 2025: Parque de la Ciudad, Buenos Aires, Argentina November 2, 2025: Estadio Nacional, Santiago, Chile November 5, 2025: Estádio Couto Perreira, Curitiba, Brazil November 8, 2025: Estádio Morumbis, São Paulo, Brazil November 11, 2025: Estádio Mane Garrincha, Brasília, Brazil LPU Legacy Presale: Monday, March 31 @ 10am (Local Time) LPU Passport Plus Presale: Monday, March 31 @ 12pm (Local Time) General Onsale: Thursday, April 3 @ 10am (Local Time) Santiago General Onsale: Thursday, April 3 @ 11am (Local Time)

"In this special episode of Women Who Make Q101, Lauren sits down with Emily Armstrong for an exclusive conversation about her journey, creative process, and the experiences that have shaped her career. Tune in as Emily shares insights, inspiration, and what it's like to be one of the influential women making waves at Q101."

Why is it the fault of the label if the band didn't want to put more than 10 songs on the album? They have whatever creative control they want in terms of the album length. They did 10 songs on OML and didn't release Friendly Fire for a long time - the other full songs from that era aren't even out yet. They kept Meteora at 10 real songs and an instrumental and an intro, and didn't release Lost or More the Victim for 2 decades. If LP wanted this song the album, they could have put it on the album lol. Of course there is big label stuff going on with them on every major decision they make but they have been pretty transparent with the label letting them do whatever they want to do on the actual studio albums, even going so far as the band picking the singles if they want to.
-
They just said at the iHeartRadio Awards that they will be performing this song live. Awesome.
-
New Divide? If it's a From Zero Deluxe or something then it's still from the album in a way lol

Because it's better to be sure about something these days; we previously in the early days of the website post a ton of rumors, leaks, etc and as a result there was a good bit of misinformation around. It isn't solely about that, though. The band does not ASK us to refrain from doing that, but out of respect we choose to do so because as LPLive has grown since 2006, they (the band themselves, especially Mike, and their management team and label) have been nothing but extremely kind to us when they honestly don't have to have any relationship with us at all. They have helped us with information throughout different points in their career and we have a great relationship with their team, especially Adam, Lorenzo, etc. We just don't see any reason we need to upset anyone by blasting leaks. For the same reasons, that is why we refrained from ever mentioning Emily publicly before the reveal, etc. We have lots of conversations internally about what we should say or not say and we try to be as professional (we are just a fan site, of course) as we can with it all. As we've aged, we've preferred to let the band roll their own campaigns out and we report on them as they happen. Of course people have heard the song with the leak, but we still truly don't know what it is for or really anything else about it. Great track. Let's see what happens from here.

Following teasers over the last week or so online, Linkin Park has posted "Up From the Bottom" on social media, which is likely indicating it is the title of the new song they will be releasing. As far as what this song is a part of, or really IS, we are not sure. The band posted a photo of the six of them in the studio today with the (likely) song title and so far, that's really all we have after the teasers.
-
The studio clip is the same chord progression as the MIDI, right?

Linkin Park has released a new video of "Overfow" from Monterrey, Mexico on February 5, 2025. This is one of the latest songs to debut off of From Zero and comes from the third performance of the track. But if you pay attention in the video, a link to https://download.linkinpark.com/ pops up where you can download a new MIDI file titled "UP." It looks like the teaser campaign for the band's new song has begun.

Linkin Park has posted a video of Colin playing "The Emptiness Machine" on drums. With videos like this being quite rare in the LP world, this is a welcome surprise. Notably, the song is a completely different mix from what was released on From Zero. Check out Emily doubling the vocals at the end of the song, but also the absence of sound when the song cuts out as she sings the bridge, and the vocal effects used throughout. What do you think?

How is it a "stunt"? Wouldn't we have literally loved that for every album? Meteora with Lost, Fighting Myself and More the Victim? Minutes to Midnight with No Roads Left, Across the Line, Blackbirds, What We Don't Know, etc?

Love Guilty All the Same and A Line in the Sand.
