  1. Getting reports the show got stopped due to sound problems and they played Emptiness Machine twice.
  2. We legitimately will get in trouble from the band's label, no matter how much the band and their team support or like LPLive, if links to leaks and locations of leaks are posted here. We've been warned about it before so we don't take any chances. We have to keep LPLive running forever.
  3. Many of you have heard the new album at listening parties and various clips floating around the Internet! The album is officially out November 15th but we want to know your thoughts on what you've heard, what you think are the best songs, and more. Leave a review!
  4. Enjoy! That's awesome! You'll tie me for shows with 4 on the tour haha They should play Keys at this show since it got cut previously. The current band lineup is much more suited for later-career songs than early career. They'd do great on as much THP as possible.
  5. This show was so much fun. The crowd was into it, the production and sound were amazing and WAY better sound than the arena shows. Had a total blast in the pit with everyone. The mini-set on the catwalk was so unique for LP and a definite highlight. All For Nothing... wow. Badass!
  6. Listening party event was fun - crowd was really diverse and a lot of people that really have enjoyed the band for quite some time.
  7. On the way - looking forward to it. Didn't check the Paris set in case they changed something/anything. Hoping they eventually start swapping more songs out - Runaway, From the Inside, A Line in the Sand, etc. Giving All for Nothing a 1-2% chance. Seems likelier Helmet could play it with Mike rather than LP play it since Mike is already using the "production is a lot to change/work on" reasoning for not adding a lot to the set right now.
  8. ALT 103.7 interviewed Mike ahead of the band's upcoming show in Texas. "Ahead of the group's performance, Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda had a chat with Camfield and explained why North Texas was chosen to be part of the Zero World Tour, how Emily Armstrong came to be in the band, and what the group hopes to achieve with their newest album From Zero." The interview is about 13 minutes long and Mike discusses the band's dynamic, how people knew about the band coming back but didn't leak it publicly, and more. Listen here.
  9. In an almost-10 minute interview during the Worlds 2024 press conference, Linkin Park discussed "Heavy Is the Crown", League of Legends, and more. Notably they talk about the alternate version of the song, which Emily says was surprisingly even harder for her to sing!
  10. It's from the Incheon, South Korea performance. Yes, the quality is not good. The band should post this in HQ on their YouTube.
  11. Emily is brand new, they have done what, 6 major performances so far? Give her like 50-100 shows, give her some years of experience. They are brand new to performing together - in front of a crowd is totally different than closed door rehearsals with the band and crew. She will grow into it.
  12. Nicely done. Need that new intro to stay in the set.
  13. LP is not in France today as they are doing press in London for Worlds 2024.
  14. Seems a bit audacious to play 3 days in a row with Emily already right off the bat, even if it's just one song today and one song tomorrow. Probably pre-recorded from something. Maybe this past week in London? Or in LA?
  15. One of Joe's best. Really good. Joe has been the MVP of the entire LP comeback.
  16. Overflow and Good Things Go are the standouts from the review so far due to them sounding unique. Glad Joe is back with scratching too. The LP return was sparked by him, and his energy on stage is the best it has been since the Meteora era, so no surprise he's bringing it on the album.
  17. The LP community always rips them, so yeah.
  18. Linkin Park will be performing twice this week ahead of the upcoming show in Paris, France on Sunday. First, the band has a performance at the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes, France on November 1. Due to the wording of this announcement, we are unsure if the band will actually be performing IN Cannes or if this is a pre-recorded performance done elsewhere (maybe the O2?) and just broadcasted for NRJ. Linkin Park has done something similar for the MTV Asia Awards in 2002 with One Step Closer from Projekt Revolution 2002 - one of the rowdiest live videos of Linkin Park out there. It is possible they are there, but we are leaning towards a pre-recorded performance as the wording is exactly the same as the Billie Eilish announcement and she will be performing in Atlanta that day. For this performance, the band could go with new song "Over Each Other", or one of the other two tracks released previously. Next, the band will perform on November 2 at the Worlds 2024 Opening Ceremony at London's O2, most certainly performing "Heavy Is the Crown." Stay tuned for these two upcoming performances ahead of the big stadium show in Paris!
  19. LPA has not let anyone down with yet another great track-by-track of a new album, this time by Joe in London! Joe was one of the lucky LPU members attending the band's listening party event in London on October 29. Joe goes into detail about all of the unheard tracks from the album from start-to-finish; about "Overflow" he says: "A long preemptive synth sound with a calming melodically electronic intro opens Overflow, with phasing echoing voices in the distance before glitchy imperfections set up another very unique and different vocal delivery from Mike. I noted awesome Deftones-like droning vocals from Mike before Emily comes in with some of her highest notes we’ve heard in a song yet. It’s a very unique Linkin Park song and my personal favourite on the album after two listens. Dare I say A Thousand Suns-esque? That’s my favourite LP album but even with that comparison it’s hard to really equate the two, as Overflow is very much its own thing and one of the more creatively interesting tracks. I can’t really put it on any other album but From Zero. It has very good vocals and a crunching instrumental that is slow but hard. There’s a face melter guitar riff for the bridge which stands out and takes the song into even more creative territory. “I keep on filling it up, TO OVERFLOW” Emily sings loudly as the song crescendos with guitar and possible scratching." Read the full rundown here. Great job LPA!
  20. Confirmed to be playing in London Saturday!
  21. The albums between ATS and OML were too rushed, IMO. Living Things and Hunting Party seem pretty rushed and not very cohesive listens compared to every other album in the discography. While I don't like the genre of OML, it's a better start-to-finish listen than the previous two. They took ages to make that album, but a lot of that was Chester going to rehab which severely delayed the timeline. The label also fully trusted LP at that time and allowed them to not have an album deadline - there was no set time they had to turn OML in unlike every other previous LP album in history. This is likely just for a few extra 2025 tracks. New album 2026-2027?
  22. Just heard they are looking to move the USA stadium tour to arenas next summer. Probably due to the Texas ticket sales. LP is not big enough for stadiums right now unless they bring someone else HUGE.
  23. But who says the songs they cut from From Zero are the ones they are working on right now? What if they finished 15 songs hypothetically, cut 5, and now are taking a batch of *other* songs? We don't know enough about what exactly they are doing to say for sure these are songs they considered for the album.
  24. In case you missed it last week, Mike Shinoda joined Jack Saunders on BBC Radio 1 to discuss the new Linkin Park song "Over Each Other." Mike said: "The original demo was all me, and then as we were writing, in the process we played with different iterations/ways of presenting it. Some of the tracks, it was just like, I wrote the demo and then it kind of like stayed very similar to that. Other ones were more of a collaborative process and I think this one fell into that category more. It had its different twists and turns with friends of ours and at the end of the day, when we did this version with Emily singing it all the way down, it like the song - it felt the most like what it was supposed to be." About the "get your screamy pants on" clip at the end of the song, Mike said, "This song leads into another song on the record called "Casualty" and... I'll leave it there." Discussing meeting Emily, he said the band was not ready to do Linkin Park in 2019 but he kept writing with Emily over time slowly, and eventually Linkin Park made sense. Mike adds that he forgot how much fun it is to play shows with Linkin Park, coming off of the first leg of the From Zero World Tour. Listen to the interview on BBC Radio 1. Mike joins around 34 minutes.
  25. Yep. ATS. Catalyst and Wretches were great picks at the time and still great picks in 2024 looking back at ATS. MTM was legendary with WID, NMS, and GU at the live shows before the album dropped. But for pre-release songs, ATS takes the cake until this album. Catalyst at the time was a bit polarizing (amazing song) but aged extremely well like the rest of the album did. Emptiness Machine was MASSIVE and is universally loved. They did extremely well with the new album in this sense by getting these 3 specific songs out.
