Holy SHIT is all there is to say about Raleigh. The best band performance I've seen since they came back - 6th show I've seen. They absolutely burned the place down. The crowd on the floor was insane, just going nuts all show. Like 15-20 around us just formed a huge group in the middle of the floor roaring all the words to the songs and jamming. The pit was to the right of us and was going nuts. It was SO LOUD and mixed absolutely flawlessly... so impressed with the sound. LP came in with a mission and lit the place on fire and the crowd just reacted massively to it. A++ show, the song debut was GREAT and Stained sounded amazing. We are incredibly outnumbered in the crowd with every single person around us besides who I came with ( @ChuckCheese @xxHybridXeroxx ) had never seen the band. It's almost a 90% new fanbase out there, which is very good for the long-term success of the band. Met Erynn after the show on the front rail. Super nice guy. Ran into all sorts of people. That was a massive show and the floor was popping off. Couldn't say anything better about it - Emily was really in the zone all show and the vibes were just so high the entire time in the crowd and on stage. Even better than the Austin show. The setlist they are playing kicks ass - how about that From the Inside? Awesome! Emily came right to us in the pit and the place was going craaaazy. The From Zero songs kick fucking ass live. LP is in the zone right now... go see this if you can. Wow.

Definitely didn't see Stained coming - thought that third rotation song may be Unshatter. Points is good.

Well there are no gang vocals in the first place lol. Mike is the only one singing that line and it sounds like sampled vocals are layered on it. Dave, Joe, and Alex are not on the mic on that. Seems like an odd choice, right?

Would much rather never have Cut the Bridge in a show over a song like Lying From You, From the Inside, etc, lol Really surprised they didn't hit Points and something mellow mid-set (LOATR, etc).

The rotations don't make any sense unless now they are random as there were Set A and Set B rotation songs in Set C. Maybe Lying From You is completely gone?

It's... really unique. Can't pinpoint a previous LP song like it. Mike whispers quietly on the bridge to give you an example.

Really great technical analysis here - greatly appreciate it. So it's really just Alex learning the songs slightly differently than Brad played them - you could argue he learned them more accurately and in relation to the studio version, sure. All I meant to point out from Sept 5 to now is the guitar indeed sounds quite different to me in those specific spots when Alex is playing. I of course know he is a very talented guitar player.

"chunky" or something, like the rhythm is off. Like... "chunka, chunka" and not smooth or something. I don't play guitar. But I can immediately notice at the show that Papercut, LFY, POA, APFMH are really sounding different on guitar. Thats just how it is now. Listen to that and compare it to like Rock am Ring 04 and you can hear a night and day difference. What exactly it IS, I am not sure, because I don't play or speak in guitar terms - but I can hear it audibly very easily at the show.

Austin looks like it's the magenta/purple new one for FZ Deluxe, right? Or am I wrong? I noticed the Papercuts zoetrope lookalike but not the blue one.

Well it's fine because the LPU pit is even too close to the stage so the back of that coming and going for merch and bathroom will work great. Good Things Go is awesome. I am surprised it is rotating - I'd have thought it'd be more of a staple than Overflow. Thought Cut the Bridge was coming after Mike didn't do it in Austin on Bleed It Out. Wonder what the other set rotations are. There are 4 rotation spots. Points, Keys, Unshatter, Lost in the Echo?

Heard them at the From Zero Fest in Austin but wasn't able to confirm that info yet. They sound good though.

Yeah it looks like LP did well with this setup and knew what to do since Tokyo had it. The vantage point is fucking cool. Too bad that's probably the only show it happens at in the USA.
