They moved the set time up 5 minutes because they were super close to 11pm in Austin with an 8:50 start lol

Behind the stage angle full show!

It's probably in tonight's set. Yeah I agree with the band here - they only played 6 shows (Mexico, Asia) with the new setlist so no reason to change it like crazy yet. They did change some stuff. Let's see what they do - remember this is only 6 headline shows and 2 festivals on this leg of the tour. The actual first like TOUR tour for From Zero is Europe.

Hmm. I think the rotation spots could be pretty cool. I have no idea what to predict here. -Lying From You, Points of Authority, Given Up -Casualty, Keys to the Kingdom, Cut the Bridge -Over Each Other, Good Things Go, ??? (My December would fit good here) -A Place for My Head, From the Inside, Lost In the Echo But there's still room for surprises and some other stuff we haven't seen yet with this stuff. One of them could be another From Zero song. There are a lot of options. Of all of this, I think it's pretty important to keep Lying From You, Keys to the Kingdom, and From the Inside in the set. Lost in the Echo is a banger too.

This was so cool and well done by the LP team. They had the From Zero Deluxe listening parties, so much free merch, the LP museum of cool stuff including guitars, drumheads, etc from all members of the band past and present having something there. Fantastic.

Actually was pretty cool. They sold it as endstage then the show sold out, then they opened seats behind the stage a few weeks before the show because their production allows it. Those were discounted tickets of course. But the band played to them quite a bit - they were back there a good amount of the show. I'd absolutely do that if I had no other way into a show. They can't do 2 nights in Austin so it made sense to do this. I really like the endstage. Anyway, let's talk Austin. This city has one of the best food and drink selections around and is just easily one of the top USA cities to visit. The From Zero Fest events before the show during the week were really cool and they played From Zero Deluxe Edition multiple times. I got a custom From Zero Fest LP hat with LPLive embroidered on the side with the state of Texas. Where else can you do that at an LP event? lol @LPPanther, Stefano, and @Numbrocker hung out for days in Austin and they were so much fun. Show day: LPU Early Entry was a massive queue and even with that, their team nailed it and got everyone in easily and quickly. Talked with Lorenzo a bit and it was great to catch up. When I walked onto the floor before the band came out, there were still only 2-3 rows of people so you can get VERY close at the show if you really want to. I actually recommend getting a bit further back because of the sound being better and you can see the production. I was too close to see the screens very good so I will back up at the next few shows. The pits were awesome and what a passionate crowd. In Texas you get just some of the best USA crowds for LP, I think the 25-30% of the crowd being Hispanic has a big influence on the intensity of the crowd. One thing I noticed is it seems people like us are in a huge minority now, more than ever and by that I mean that every single person I talked to that I DIDN'T know at the show had never seen LP before. Someone from Spain was next to us in the crowd. Someone else flew from Utah. People were there from all over and had never seen the band. It was pretty cool. The crowd was intense and fucking rocked where I was on the floor (dead center a few rows back) - the surging and pits were awesome. And it was LOUD, people sang everything. I saw Arlington and now Austin and I can't say how awesome it is to see LP in Texas. The show itself! Holy shit Somewhere I Belong into an explosive Lying From You is an amazing start. What is this, 2003? That's one of the best Lying From Yous I've seen with Mike's swagger on the verses and then he blew the fuck up on the bridge - watch the video. Badass as hell and Phoenix and Joe were jamming huge. This is what I meant by my comment that the "new" setlist needs another rock song at the start and they delivered with Lying From You. AWESOME LIVE SONG and they need to play it as much as they can! Seriously go watch LFY from this show, you'll love it. And Somewhere I Belong opening is just too good. The set was solid overall, not many comments otherwise. Two Faced live is a monster and the band has big energy on it. The crowd SURPRISINGLY was the craziest on: Two Faced, BURN IT DOWN (?!? What is this? lol), Casualty, One Step Closer, Faint, A Place for My Head, and Heavy Is the Crown. Aka, people love love love the new stuff. Until It Breaks was cool, the Enjoy the Silence intro on Overflow was cool. It was a shame that Good Things Go got cut but it'll be in another set. Up From The Bottom sounds really good and I am glad they played it. Due to Mike's comments earlier in the show about "new songS, we have NEW NEW songS and we'll get to those later" or something, I thought they'd for sure play Unshatter. But no big loss there. Overflow rocked. Just really love Somewhere I Belong, Lying From You, Faint, In the End in there. Would love From the Inside and Breaking the Habit.... Meteora bias showing, much? My only real complaints are Alex still REALLY bothers me on some of the older songs with how the guitar sounds but there's nothing I can do about that so I'll have to get over it. He is completely off on the Papercut rhythm... stuff like that. And Emily lets the crowd sing a LOT - I hope she will do less of that over time. Overall the band sounds good and I'm glad they are out there. More shows soon. GREAT CROWD (don't let a video fool you - I was right in the middle of it and it was a complete blast... intense fans). Please return to Austin some day... amazing venue and despite the bullshit you see online, the show was PACKED, you couldn't move a muscle in there and they sold that thing the hell out. Awesome.

They have been pretty transparent that Brad was not involved for a lot of the album and made his decision to join in with it all pretty late in the process. With Colin playing guitar in these videos, it seems like they were prepared for a while to be a five piece in the studio.
-
Looking forward to it. Anything they want to bust out is great and it’ll probably be a surprise to us what it is. Could totally see Up From the Bottom, Unshatter, and Blackout get played.

They are definitely significantly weaker in terms of other bands I follow for posters - Metallica, Dave Matthews Band, Pearl Jam, and Foo Fighters. The Mexico pop-up store had some amazing posters. These are in line with what LP likes for sure, because they are a bit similar to the 2008 ones they did on Projekt Revolution.

The LPU has announced Early Entry sign-ups will go live on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. PT on the LP Underground website. Posters for the six headline arena shows will go live at 9:00 a.m. PT on the LPU store, including 10 signed copies per show by the band.

A new interview has surfaced with Namouche Studios in Lisbon, Portugal where Emily visited in May 2024. The studio is credited on From Zero in the liner notes. The interview is short and doesn't reveal a TON, but says a videographer went with her (Mark Fiore?) and that Emily's friend, accomplished musician Alain Johannes, may have recommended the studio to her. Resident sound engineer Miguel Peixoto revealed, "The session took place in May 2024. She scheduled a full day, but only stayed for a few hours. She didn't record leads, but she sang and wrote some stuff, possibly lyrics." He mentioned that they didn't know Emily was even associated with Linkin Park at the time, saying, "In this case, the contact came through the band’s management, but at the time we didn’t even know who Linkin Park were, but then we put the names together. In the meantime, it was Emily who showed up. At the time, she wasn't associated with the band yet, so we thought she was just another international artist coming to record. The songs didn't have a name, just numbers and they came on an external disk. So we recorded the songs and she left. It was only when we saw a post on Reddit about Namouche and Linkin Park that we started to connect the two things." We are unsure what song Emily worked on in Lisbon, but perhaps some footage will be available on an upcoming LPTV episode for a "making of" video of the song, or songs.

@martinez You haven't seen any information on where the FZ Deluxe live songs come from yet have you?

2026 ( 20th lplive x 20th Summer Sonic 2006 )
LPLStaff replied to thigolpbr's topic in Everything Linkin Park
It's a great idea, but that's a huge ask of the band and it's beyond just Mike and their manager saying "sure" - it's about the label and all that comes into play with releasing Chester content now, etc. We're just happy if they acknowledge the 20th anniversary of the website in any form with a shout out or something. We definitely want the Summer Sonic show to be released and if the band does a box set for MTM we will push strongly for that if they ask us for any opinions. -
Looking forward to this and if these type of events continue for tour openers or big stops of the tour, they should serve as a precursor to Summits returning in 2026+.

Confirmed by the band for Friday.

Included on Linkin Park's new From Zero (Deluxe Edition) release in May with Up From The Bottom are new songs Unshatter and Let You Fade. Digital stores have started to update the track time for Unshatter, listing it at 3:16. Screenshot from Amazon Music below. Usually this is a sign that a new track is on the way sometime in the next few weeks. It would not be surprising if the band released a second song from the Deluxe Edition as the release is still about three weeks away. Whatever the case, it looks like Unshatter could be coming soon. So far, nothing is known about the song other than it was one of the earliest songs with Emily, with Linkin Park saying on their website, "Unshatter" was an early track we made while recording From Zero; Emily's huge vocal in the bridge was one of the moments that gave us an indication of what was possible together." Qobuz also reports "Unshatter" at 3:16 length and "Let You Fade" at 3:28 length. Let's see what happens! April 21 edit: Linkin Park has confirmed the song will be released on Friday, April 25, less than one day before they take the stage in Austin, Texas. The band also posted a new promo photo in advance of the song's release:

Doesn't seem like we will ever get it now if they changed the description to "the LP team wants this full show if anyone has it", aka now that they know about it they probably instructed people to not give it to fans. Seems like we won't be seeing it.
-
No Brad in this one, interesting. The original riff for this song sounds a little heavier than the final product.

Mike and Emily stopped by the KROQ studio in LA for a surprise interview with Kevin Ryder. Of note, the band says that they are rehearsing this week for tour and may work on up to 5 songs not in the show during rehearsals. Emily says they want to eventually play Lies Greed Misery as well, but not yet.

It's definitely weird to see Linkin Park without 6 people no matter what the situation is. We will have to get used to this over time. It's odd Brad didn't participate in it since this is a studio remix. But they may have filmed it in Europe in November and he was not there. Very unlikely he plays the show itself, he doesn't seem to like the travel aspect of touring.

Linkin Park has confirmed their appearance on May 31, 2025 at Munich, Germany's UEFA Champions League soccer/football kickoff show. Rumors had the band performing at halftime, but it appears they will perform before the show. The press release says that they will perform new and old songs, as well as a new remix that includes Numb that they created. Mike says, "When we first thought about the track that we made for this event ... it’s really all about the football. We had a bunch of references of past musicians, producers and artists who have made things which are special for a sport, so we wanted to take that inspiration and put our spin on it and do something made from the sounds of football. So, the track that we made is essentially the sounds of football, done in a LINKIN PARK way. All the things that it’s built on are sounds of the foot hitting the ball, the sound of the ball hitting the net, the sounds of the fans stomping in the seats. These were the things that when we’ve been to football matches, struck us as being the powerful musical elements when being there." The performance will come between the North American leg 1 and European leg of the From Zero World Tour this summer.

The Instagram followers of LP's management, a few LP band members + Adam but not Mike and Mike had liked photos of hers on her account without following her. That was a tell-tale sign along with the photo in July and August. So, they kept the secret until almost the last second - really impressive.
