As we saw with Welcome and what was going to happen in fall 2017 with Fort Minor, Mike doesn't necessarily need a break from LP to do anything. I just look at it as he had the opportunity to release a new song and did. Yeah the LP comeback was WELL under way by that point. It did seem like an album was coming though because of the "new era" comments.

Massively missed opportunity with MTM to do that considering the b-sides for that are absolutely insane.

People missed the music for a very long time. That's what's happening. And the new single they dropped with Emptiness Machine kicks fucking ass too. Combination of both things.

Linkin Park is making waves on the Billboard Rock Charts right now, just under a month from the release of the new album 'From Zero'. "The Emptiness Machine" tops the Billboard Hot Hard Rock Songs chart at #1, Hybrid Theory single "In the End" tops the Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart for the first time ever at #1, and "Heavy is the Crown" also tops the Hard Rock Digital Songs Sales Chart at #1. While "The Emptiness Machine" and "Heavy is the Crown" have been performing quite well lately, "In the End" comes as a surprise. Or maybe not? A recent tweet from "Pop Culture 2000s" of the music video for the song has over 80 million views, over 83,000 retweets and over 400,000 likes.

Sonic Temple in OH and Rockville in FL are surely locks for LP. But they’re a month after this. Will they do fly dates like 2015 or schedule shows between them? Would much rather see LP play a headline show over a 70-80 minute festival slot at Sick New World.

The lineup for Sick New World in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 12, 2025 has dropped and features Metallica, Linkin Park, and many more bands. This is expected to be the first of many 2025 concert dates announced for Linkin Park on the From Zero World Tour.

It will never hurt to try, but this wasn't handled very well by the label at all. Complete mess. I would say "at least they tried" but they deliberately excluded so many fans from the fixes that you can just chalk the whole thing up to a bad attempt to make it right. Nothing to do with the band themselves or their direct team. Worst case scenario, just buy it on Discogs for the fixed version.

Yeah the way this information all came out is quite odd. The Indonesian press woman was just...weird and this was not done (maybe "presented" is the right word) well at all. Surprised the label saw this and let it be posted. This doesn't seem like a traditional interview because so many tiny bits and pieces are coming out about it.

The host in the new Asian interview says the band is going to Jakarta in 2025.

Good Things Go is from 2020 (at the latest) so it's not unreasonable to think a lot of these songs could be from any time 2019-now, including parts from collaborators and other songwriters they were working with in that entire timeframe. Honestly since Rob didn't leave the band until at least late 2022 or early 2023, what's surprising is there is no Rob credit on anything on the album since he was actively involved in the band in 2019, 2020, 2021, etc.

Linkin Park appears set to release the third song from their upcoming album From Zero soon. "Over Each Other", track 5, was recently delivered to digital streaming platforms for a release soon. Fans will recognize credits on this song as including collaborator Jon Green (Hollywood Bowl MVP and One More Light album collaborator, as well as Friendly Fire). Matias Mora also has a credit on the song. It is rumored that Joe Hahn may have directed a video for this song as well. There is currently not an exact known release date, but it could be as soon as this week.

The band is doing everything right currently. Releasing a ton of live footage. Releasing new LPTVs which people have wanted for eons. Love to see it all. Would love a digital live EP or something.

It's pretty difficult to do 360 in a stadium - U2 did it with an endstage in a stadium (still 360), Metallica is doing full 360 and Ed Sheeran is doing full 360. You also have to sell way more tickets for that and specifically in the USA that's going to be a problem for LP. Mike said in the Zane Lowe interview they have 3 stages - launch stage (Warner show), 360 arena stage, and the stadium stage. This production should be pretty cool. What would be nice is if the big boxes remain on stage above the band for these upcoming stadiums (and Bogota arena show). In 2025 surely the 360 stage returns in some capacity. No way they did all that work to only use it 5 times, right? They aren't big enough in the USA to play stadiums in every city so they can use the arena stage in 360 to compliment that in certain smaller markets across the country when they tour. Europe, Asia, South America may be stadiums and festivals the entire time because LP is MASSIVE in those markets. Australia - not sure what demand there would look like.

Following Emily Armstrong's recent comments that the band would rehearse this month to add new songs to the setlist for the November shows, Mike Shinoda echoed these comments on Discord on October 3. Emily said in an interview in Korea, that "Two Faced" is really fun live, as well as "Casualty" and "Overflow." She said, "Those three, I think, were the ones we've kinda been talking about… like, really wanting to explore live. Ihink we're gonna do some rehearsals when we get home and, you know, put it into our live set.” Mike said on Discord, "Right now, it's quite a bit of effort to put a new song into the set. Not just the band working it out, but the production (lasers, lights, content). We're working on adding a new song or two." Let's see what they end up playing in Paris, Texas, and South America! Any guesses?
