  1. At least Pusha T's verse was good. Stormzy's was cringe worthy. But it's also a little different since the chorus was sung by Chester and Mike still had a verse in the song either way. Mike had an opportunity to do a good version of Lift Off though, with Chino in San Diego. MGK probably would do it too if Mike ever asked.
  2. It ain’t Lift Off without MGK (his verse makes the entire song good) and without Chino.
  3. Even if the tracks remain exclusive to that vinyl, like how The Hard Way was exclusive to TRT Special Edition CD/DVD, it will surely be ripped and shared online.
  4. Are these b-sides of Post Traumatic or brand new songs that Mike wrote since the album release in June?
  5. Even as far back as the Xero Tape from 1997 has cursing all over it. Dedicated and High Voltage, too. Reanimation, etc. Probably the band wanted to appeal to a very mass amount of people or the label did, and decided to not have cursing, because it may deter some people. Keep in mind, the 90's and early 2000's, at least in the U.S., were stupid about stuff like that. Nowadays, it's not like that. But who knows.
  6. I remember it, too. He did say exactly what you said, that they wanted to find better ways to express themselves in the lyrics. On Loveline in 2008, the April 2008 episode, someone asked Chester why they decided to start cursing in their music. Chester said ''because sometimes dropping the F bomb is necessary''. He then went on to say that Mike wanted him to say something that he would say in real life, out of pain, and Chester screamed fuck. And that's how the chorus idea came to be for Given Up. But they have cursed on so many other songs. Haha after and before.
  7. It probably wasn't ever intended for the studio version, but I'm not saying that there isn't a version out there with it. There are so many demos and stuff from every album that we don't even know about. Look at the ''much too easy'' By Myself demo for example. We have a ton of demos for By Myself, but not one has that version. Anyways, Chester would sometimes add stuff to specific songs during live shows. Like the scream he started doing during the bridge of The Catalyst in 2011-2012. Or the scream he started doing during the What I've Done bridge from like 2008-2017. And there are more examples. I also find it funny that the band cursed on material released before Hybrid Theory, but then everyone at the time the album came out, and then with Meteora, said the band didn't like to curse on their main albums. And then came Minutes To Midnight and everything after and the curses were everywhere. Not to mention that Chester swore so much during shows from 2000-2017 and so didn't Mike.
  8. Good news. Hope he plays everywhere - North America (U.S., Canada, Mexico), Europe, Asia, Australia, South America. Maybe a few rare places, too, that he rarely has played with his past ventures. Even though he just did a big U.S. tour, there are still a lot of cities and states that he could hit, as well as return to some, the reception has been very good. Europe, the same applies, as does Asia. And Australia hasn't seen Mike since 2013. It's good that he is continuing the tour.
  9. From the previews it actually sounds great. I hate a lot of LP's officially released live stuff because a lot of the mixing sucks IMO. Some is good but some is just bad. However, this new little EP from Mike sounds legit.
  10. I.O.U. is the most gangster song on the album; Chicago is one of the most gangster cities in the country. And you have Boston and Detroit coming up next. Seems pretty awesome.
  11. Yeah I guess but they still took Papercut, POA and SIB off of the main tracklisting, even on the DVD, which was weird, and put them on an alternate menu. The CD makes sense for time constraints but the DVD wasn't like Live In Texas where it was different then the CD. But yeah I guess that's a full show. Berlin 2012 for LT+ and Monterrey for THP+ weren't full shows released. Berlin had a few songs cut that weren't added to a different section of the DVD and Monterrey was only like half the show, maybe less. Download 2014 was only the HT songs, not the full set at all. So Madrid (if it's the full show idk) and Apple Store are the last full sources and the only that the band has ever done. Which is why, everyone should just download audience recordings and webcasts. :]
  12. Wasn't Madrid 2010 full show? Maybe it wasn't. If not, then yeah, I guess Apple Store 2008. Live In Texas's DVD is also the only other ''full show'' release I think, and even then, it's mashed up of 2 shows, so it's not really a complete source for a specific show. So if Madrid isn't, then Apple Store 2008 is the only full show they have ever put out. Lol.
  13. One of the worst bands I have ever heard live. Can't believe they are still a band and touring after all these years with little success.
  14. All of those songs are my favorite ones.... That's crazy. Haha. I love NCSM and Battle Symphony. My favorites on the album, but I also like Invisible. One More Light is great, too. A lot of those have really great meanings lyrically.
  15. Well, In The End from Mike's shows is much different then LP's In The End. But I see what you mean. They are Linkin Park's biggest songs though. I also agree I would love to have a full live album from Mike or more songs. Post Traumatic songs are good live. I like em. I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing he will live with Chester's ghost. I mean, they were brothers (not literally but you know what I mean). And he loved Chester ahd has no problem honoring him. Chester helped Linkin Park take it to the next level and become huge so.. All members of Linkin Park are aware that Chester was massive. They aren't trying to forget him, but instead, carry on with his legacy in mind
  16. Yeah, probably where I remembered it from. It's interesting how the band worked. Take for instance THP, where the album originally was softer, pop driven songs, which transformed into heavy rock and metal music. Then you have MTM and ATS, which both started off heavy, but became softer, experimental albums, especially ATS. MTM still had a few heavy songs. But it's really cool. LT and OML might have stayed the same style for all we know. I wonder what the first song that made the album was for those. I think Good Goodbye and One More Light (the song) were actually from 2015.
  17. I would love to hear Lift Off performed live, with Chino and MGK both. It would be epic. One of my favorites songs on Post Traumatic, possibly my favorite. I love the whole song. Interesting about the fans not being allowed to film. Probably was demo lyrics. Or Mike just didn't want there to be a video of it out there.
  18. Pretty cool, I guess. Although, there are already several pro-shots of each song here. It would be nice to get some Post Traumatic songs like the ones that Hahninator listed, but maybe we will someday.
  19. Question for any die-hard ATS fans out there... Out of the 15 tracks that made the album, does anyone know which one was conceived the earliest? I keep thinking that Robot Boy was from early to mid 2009, but I could be wrong. We know for example, Valentine's Day was the earliest song on MTM, and Mark The Graves was the earliest song on THP. It's interesting to me. Judging by LPTV and stuff, it seems like a lot of the songs were primarily created and worked on throughout 2010, since the album didn't come out until the last quarter of 2010. It could even be a case in which nothing from 2009 made the album. A lot of the 2009 demos and 2008 demos have a heavier sound, and New Divide was pretty heavy compared to the album, too, and the band put that out in mid 2009 and toured until September for it.
  20. Touching. I just watched an interview like a week ago with Chester and he said something along the lines of Linkin Park is his baby and it means more to him then anything in the world or something. It's sad how it all ended. but I know Mike will carry on his legacy , especially with the band. he is his brother
  21. No I don't think that even exists anymore.
  22. It's missing some stuff and also it's missing Team Sleep's remix of My December.
  23. Numb and In The End are definitely their two biggest songs. Everybody knows both and they're universally loved across the world. When they mashed Numb up with Encore with Jay-Z, it further catapulted the song, IMO. But Numb on it's own is their biggest song, for sure, that and In The End.
  24. Anyone have this in mp3??? http://lplive.net/shows/db/2001/20010126-1
  25. We could make a new version of this thread with everything he have learned since the creation of the thread. More songs from THP and OML, as well as other stuff.
