Yeah he even says that Deftest was just a ...test lol. So TBH this time I trust him when he says that him and Mark trying a Deftones impression is probably not worth to be hyped π
Imagine being that age (Iβd be 58 at that time) and listening to the first ever approach to LP by your hero who passed away more than 30 years prior ...wow bittersweet
Yeah itβs like when some of my friends say βNumb is the best LP songβ and I act like βnot even top 10, The Catalyst Figure 09 and Roads Untraveled are far superiorβ
just throwing titles of songs they do know πππ
TBH I donβt agree about it being bad, itβs interesting, yeah itβs clunky but interesting, very raw. I find it more interesting than many LPU demos we got in the past TBH, same for CHB. But itβs a personal point of view π
Iβve never treated PB as the holy grail, never been THAT interested, but I really like it, not underwhelmed at all, strong for being a demo, but Could have been is as good if not better, not to talk about Stick n Move
To me everything sounds better on the HT20 version with Chester. I remember hearing the other in august and thinking it sounded really bad and clunky. The Chester version is very rough and he sounds weird too but to me is a great improvement. Really from my personal point of view if it depended only on me this thread would not exist ππ (no offence to Mark, he was crucial in forming Xero and is really good on stuff like Dialate)
