Yeah I mean it’s not my favorite song on the album, it feels a bit “disjointed” at times, but it’s energetic and cool. I don’t understand how someone who is a LP and grunge fan could literally hate that song. Lol

Really don’t want to enter into this, as I said a thousand times I don’t want to defend Sean because I don’t have clue on some of the facts he and you guys are taking about. The only thing I can say seeing those conversations on Twitter is that yeah he’s been pretty rough with some of you guys and that’s not a good thing obviously. On the other side, I talked to him on Direct a bit and I can see and understand to a certain extent why he could be upset about people being so negative on GD projects. But really, don’t want to defend him and take his parts because there are many things I don’t know so I just enjoy the music for what it is, one of the best things involving Chester that happened in this decade.

Don’t want to start on this defending Sean saying that it’s true he lost a lot of money in the making and he did it only for his beloved friend Chester because I don’t know if it’s true and I’m not Sean’s lawyer or anything like that. My only point is that it’s natural that if Amends sold 1000 copies WW and never entered any chart they’d have abandoned the idea of a new release, but considering the fact that the album did well for what it is (a grunge album of remix/remaster/reboot by a band that was only known by hardcore LP fans as CB’s first band) it’s pretty natural that they are planning to release another record with leftovers. They are not touring with a new singer (I’d consider that a 100% cashgrab move), they are not dippin’ in the penny jar with unreleased stuff that magically appeared after Chester’s passing or anything like that.

Yeah totally see a similar treatment to the one they reserved to “She Shines”, could be explosive. In an old interview Sean said he and Mace had more than one option for “Drag” and wanted it to be special. Can’t wait

They are highlighting music by Chester many fans didn’t know and others didn’t enjoy that much in its original form due to the poor quality of the instrumentals and mixing. That’s literally it, but to each their own point of view, not gonna argue on this for the 1000th time since april.

The “douches” thing was referred to Sean, I was analyzing both parts and stigmatizing both the bad behaviors. Don’t want to enter in that territory again, seen how much I loved “Amends” I’m just as excited as I was 2 months ago at the idea of a new record, but yeah, I myself won’t get in the mood of being harsh towards negative opinions on the new record and, more important, won’t act like “THIS IS BETTER THAN THAT”. As of my own view on the possible 2nd album, I’m hyped as fuck, can’t wait and personally fucking loved the deluxe edition with the book at the point that I purchased both the cd standard and the deluxe, so can’t really complain about editions lol

Maybe both parts should stop bitching. Calling the album “cashgrab shit” on Twitter is not very kind and nice, and on the other side calling people who follow LP since the beginning “douches” is bad. Just listen to the music and enjoy it, or skip it if you don’t care 😊

Don’t think they’ll release it soon, they seem to be in the very early stages.

They are literally just revisiting the other songs, I don’t see why this is a problem. Can’t wait to hear Hole and Drag and Starting to fly etc seen what they did with Amends.

Already confirmed they are working with Esjay. TBH I personally don’t get the production issues you and others exposed about the album. It’s not me being defensive on the album but really even on songs like Morei Sky or Shouting out I think the production is really cool and fitting, but it’s just my point of view. As you may already know, I consider the new “In time” close to perfect, very high in my all time fav songs list 😊
