  1. It's so crazy that they were booked for Hellfest, it just makes no sense. Even with all these changes it feels awkward
  2. NCSM is such a fucking great song and it sounds much more solid live than BS
  3. That's why I specified that the lyrics are the same. Since OML was sang a capella and later played full, the only repeated things were melody and lyrics, same for TR and TC.
  4. The Requiem and The Catalyst have the exact same lyrics, both on the album and during the whole ATS tour live and that was never a problem. While I do think it's a lame choice to open with OML a capella, it doesn't bother me that much. Also, SIB was dropped many times before, I guess we didn't see it even once during the ATS era. I agree it's bad to drop Papercut for SE though.
  5. The current set needs some improvements, but nothing is worse than all those cringy shortened versions. I'd only accept that if they actually gave a shit about THP and put like GATS, MTG and ALITS in the same set or something like that(all longer songs that would take more time from the set). But in the way they did it there is no excuse.
  6. I don't know if we'll ever see Crawling back to the original version live, it seems to be very hard on his voice and I don't see them bothering to lower the key and then bring a guitar on tour just to play that song.
  7. This is a realistic set with the same songs played in Chile, I left it untouched from COG to Faint. Rearranged the beginning and made the encore have an upwards flow instead of the rollercoaster that is Numb-Heavy-Papercut. I prefer it this way. 01. Fallout 02. The Catalyst 03. Wastelands 04. One Step Closer 05. Talking To Myself 06. Burn It Down 07. Castle Of Glass 08. Good Goodbye 09. Lost In The Echo 10. Battle Symphony 11. New Divide 12. Invisible 13. Waiting For The End 14. Breaking The Habit 15. One More Light 16. Crawling 17. Leave Out All The Rest 18. Somewhere I Belong 19. What I've Done 20. In The End 21. Faint ---------------------------------------------------- 22. Heavy 23. Numb 24. Papercut 25. Bleed It Out
  8. While I love OML and think the problem of this set is more in the order of the songs than in the songs themselves, I would never book them for festivals such as Maximus and Hellfest.
  9. I think no song in OML works well as a show opener, Although TTM is the closest they could get to it, it's still not there.
  10. People say it shouldn't be in the beginning of the set because it doesn't have loud guitars, but the upbeat and the epic atmosphere are so great that I don't care. I just love that song so much
  11. The Catalyst is fucking awesome live, the problem is that they cut the keyboard solo from this version, they should play the video version if they wanted to shorten it. And I think Wastelands is sounding very good too, I'd even put it as the opener.
  12. I'd love that, although I'm not sure if he could go through the high notes at the end
  13. THP and HT were the only ones not to hit number 1, will you still minimize the others to "radio friendly pop"? And even THP, given how heavy it was it sold a whole lot, even a little more than OML. Your points are almost always invalid
  14. That could be true, but LPLive only used the word "dropped" to talk about the live set, so it seems he was talking about it too
  15. It's number 1 because it's Linkin Park, not because it's pop. Unless you say every album was a radio friendly pop record.
  16. To the people talking about high notes, I think he hits some in the chorus of Sharp Edges, doesn't he? And also in the last chorus of Talking to Myself. Anyway, I'm ok with it, I think sometimes it's harder to sing high notes than to scream. So you only listened to Heavy studio version and One More Light live? To be honest, there is no other song that sounds similar to Heavy in the album, and there are much more real instruments in the songs than people make it seem. The word "pop" doesn't stand to only one thing, a lot of songs in MTM and LT were pretty much pop or pop rock.
  17. Brad's guitar sounds so cool in Battle Symphony live, why the hell is it so quiet in the studio? Damn.
  18. They were rehearsing Battle Symphony and Numb in the instagram stories, it will probably be very close if not the same as Jimmy Kimmel
  19. The mighty shinodaconda meme was talked about https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DocyhKXwDSQ
  20. I think it's a very solid song built on a track that could've been better. I still like it a lot though, and it sounds like Linkin Park more than people give it credit, certainly much more than Sorry for now, Halfway right or Sharp edges for example. They made a lot of these build up kind of songs since MTM, if you gave Heavy a different production and turned the guitar volume up it would sound A LOT like Powerless.
  21. Bring me the original folky versions of Skin to Bone and Roads Untraveled, I'd love that. I'm not totally sure RU came from a folk demo but I know STB did.
  22. Anyone who comes to a fansite saying the band should disband is much more likely to be trash than any kind of "fanboy", whatever definition this word falls in.
  23. If you don't like this, fine, but talking like it has nothing positive is just absurd. All a matter of perspective. And it's not even that much different, a lot of LT songs would sound just like this album if the band used trap-like production and turned the guitars' volume down a little bit. Think of Powerless, BID, LITE, LGM, IBG...
  24. I like how Sharp Edges functions to One More Light as The Messenger did to The Catalyst. It's like a glimpse of hope after the shit happens, a message that we can bear whatever happens and keep going on.
  25. They were playing around with folk back in LT, but your comment could be just a joke so anyway I agree with Rogue about it being fantastic, I love it. One More Light was probably their first song to make me cry out of pure emotion since Hands Held High.
