  1. I think it's possible they will do GG short + LITE short, although I hope they play LITE full
  2. Kilmer

    Japan Promo

They did that with In Between, Castle of Glass Experience and others, not that hard at this point
  3. I meant just by analyzing the music itself, which song is better or more remarkable is subjective. I personally think Wretches and Kings to be among their masterpieces. Wastelands would fit better in HT or Meteora than Lost in the Echo, because of the loud guitars and the riffing style, while LITE has a lot of synth layers, which wasn't very common back then.
  4. I think Wastelands will probably stay as the most HT/Meteora sounding song to be released after those albums
  5. I'd bet most of them were not present when the +40min A Thousand Suns piece was divided back into songs and interludes. Coincidence or not, Mike was the one who got the closest, saying 14 tracks
  6. I think the period after every sentence could be seen as putting an end to the person's time in the match, it's just like the period, you know nothing will come after that in the same sentence. Still can't figure out the cellmate though. Anyway, I do agree Stormzy's lines sound stronger, and it gets better after you get used to his accent, which I kinda wasn't.
  7. Loved this, so funny. It's crazy how none of them remembered how many tracks were in A Thousand Suns
  8. Generic songs? Folky vibes and experimentation in a lot of Living Things songs, The Hunting Party had heavy songs with solos, which was something we've never seen before from them, and also that album has a lot more experimentation than people give them credit, they ventured into punk rock in War, prog in Mark the Graves, A Line in the Sand was a huge epic thing... I don't see these generic songs, save for a few you could point out for their structure or lyrics, but not the majority of them.
  9. There is certainly a Linkin Park vibe in the chorus and the structure, and at the same time it sounds fresh with the badass grime vibe.
  10. I don't know why people are putting new songs as piano versions in these sets, of course they will play those at full band mode.
  11. Keeping the piano Crawling for the shows would be a way to bring it back in full song structure without making it so hard on Chester's voice
  12. I think it would be good to get a different song as the opener, not necessarily from the new album, just new in that slot. And I agree A Line in the Sand would be THE closing song, there's a reason it was originally called Odyssey, and that's because it's fucking epic.
  13. I laughed a lot reading that setlist, this whole thing was genius work. Let's all stop being bitter to life and the band and just enjoy a fucking joke yay
  14. Anyone else thinks of the The Catalyst video when the guy opens his arms like that?
  15. That sounds like the final version of Truth inside a lie, and it even says "truth inside a lie" in the chorus
  16. "The full band is very involved in the selection of the songs, for example Joe saying he doesn't like Rob's drums on a demo. With six members, it's hard to get all six members to like every part of every song. Mike makes large documents in his computer of all of the notes/comments by band members on each song." I hope all the assholes who bitch about "Mike owning the band and everyone else silently accepting what he wants" read this.
  17. The intro reminds me of Lost in the echo with that start and stop thing. Love the vibe, I liked this more than Heavy in the first listen. Good lyrics as well, specially in the verses.
  18. These are fucking awesome finds, I didn't think we'd still get unknown Xero songs. Does anybody else feel like Fiends sounds similar to It's going down?
  19. Does anyone know the chords for Symphonies of light reprise? It sounds like there are only 3
  20. I wonder what they will do with BIO, Mike should rap AFN over the bridge, the guitar part even sounds kinda similar.
  21. I'd honestly prefer to see any of the three songs by itself than the medley again. Specially LOATR, since it's the one we don't see for the most time.
  22. Man, this is probably the messiest performance in their whole career, so many mistakes haha I think that as long as Chester can sing it well they will keep playing this song
  23. Great post, I'd just add Brad to "Mike, Chester, and Kiiara performing stripped down versions of a few songs just over a week ago", since he played in 2 of the 3 songs. Looking forward to all the promo
  24. I agree it could have been better instrumentally, even if they just put the guitars volume up, not to be more like rock, but it would give the song a bigger atmosphere that would sound great. I really like the song as it is anyway. I wouldn't call The hunting party a nu metal album though, I consider less than half of it as nu metal.
  25. It doesn't need to be as fast as Heavydirtysoul though, it could be something like the slow rap in Easier to run
