I would love to own this for collection purposes...I was kind of hoping for a bonus live track but oh well. Imagine a HQ version of MS live from Club Tattoo 08!!!
I can't wait to hear these songs, I'm guessing the more angry and dark sounds are the shorter songs. Can't wait for 'Inside Of Me', 'Condemned', 'My Suffering', 'Walking In Circles', 'Too Late' and 'Give Me Your Name'.
Oh, I see. Well U2 I could understand but not Britney Spears or Alicia Keys...if they did, you could definitely see why I said LP were becoming huge sellouts.
Eh...I'm not too disappointed that I totally forgot about the chat now. No good questions or answers really, like usual LPU chats. I still think the chats were good in like 2005, Chester actually answered one of my questions then.
=)
But...I'm sort of worried now that LPU9 won't have b-sides or demos after all since Mike basically just said no to MTM b-sides.
Actually, there is a video on youtube from backstage at PR08 and Mike said that they are not collaborating with Akon or Timbaland...and then they laughed about it.
Does somebody want to rip the videos? That would be cool, but it's not a big deal if nobody can. I gotta wait til I get home to watch these since I'm using a school computer right now...sucks.
No need to hear your voice or see your face
To know that you are with me
No need to kiss your lips or hold your hand
To know that you can feel me
When I look to the stars
I know just where you are
You're looking down upon me
No need to get locked up inside the past
I know it isn't changing
No need to let you go or say goodbye
I know that you'll be waiting
I've got to find a way to keep my pain from burning down to the bone
As for Crawl Back In
Sometimes I look at my own face
And I don't know who I am
I see a piece of everyone I know
Buried underneath my skin
I don't wanna be like them
I wanna crawl back in
It's hard to think of anything that I haven't heard before
I hear these voices in my head
They could be mine but I'm not sure
I hear them telling me who they think I should be
Why won't they leave me alone
I can't deny it
I try to fight it
But I'm losing control
I don't wanna be like them
I wanna crawl back in
Don't wanna lose my innocence
Don't want the world second guessing my heart
Won't let your lies take a piece of my soul
Don't wanna take your medicine
I wanna crawl back in
Sometimes I lie
Sometimes I crawl
Sometimes I feel like I wanna die
I love BIO from East Troy...I'm probably putting that on the CD. Remember though, I can't use all live tracks. He wants some rare studio tracks too. I was thinking maybe Carousel, And One, Part Of Me, No Roads Left, Announcement Service Public, Qwerty, High Voltage Remix, She Couldn't, Esaul and Plaster and then have the rest be live tracks.
I don't really like the video, I think it's really boring actually. I love the song though. I want to see it from iTunes because I only like to watch music videos in extremely high quality. I think the Let Down video will be heaps better.
He really is. It's like anything Mike touches turns to gold, that's what a guy that used to work at my local FYE told me a while back. Actually, it was when FM was released, he was like ''I don't really like Linkin Park but I have to admit, anything that Mike Shinoda makes is just amazing''.
It doesn't sound like Sonisphere's performance, that's probably why I thought it was so much different than the video rip I had. But...does anyone have New Divide in really HQ live?
What do you think are the worst bands that LP has ever toured with? It can be all the way from 1999 to 2009. To be honest, I wasn't a big fan of Ashes Divide or Chris Cornell.
Ok, my friend wants me to make him a CD that is just like a 'best-of compilation' of unreleased LP music and rare live tracks. I was wondering if you guys could help me out with this...just make a tracklisting of what you think would make a good CD. You can include demo's/b-sides/live/other songs, I have everything LP has ever done so I can pretty much put anything in the playlist.
I agree. Although, the lyrics to me can also be used in a sense that someone you know has passed, but don't forget that they're always right there with you, even if they aren't physically. The chorus especially
When I look to the stars
I know just where you are
You're looking down upon me
I think that kind of implies that the person has passed on, although the lyrics could also be interpreted in a metaphoric way, much like Valentine's Day from MTM.
Also, the line ''I know that you'll be waiting'' made me think that the person will be waiting for them in heaven.
I'm not religious by any means but I do feel the emotion from the lyrics in this song. I get shivers when Chester sings ''I know that you can feel me'' and several other lines in the verses, just the way he sings it.
