  1. Imagine a set that had no slow songs, just pure energy. Granted, it would be shorter for the sake of Chester's voice every night. 01. A.06 02. Given Up 03. With You 04. Lying From You 05. Figure.09 06. A Place For My Head 07. Qwerty 08. Faint 09. Papercut 10. And One 11. Crawling 12. By Myself 13. No More Sorrow 14. Don't Stay 15. From The Inside *ENCORE* 16. Carousel 17. Hit The Floor 18. One Step Closer
  2. I think they will just use Fire as an opener. The song has like it's own kind of intro, probably why it's the first song on OOA as well as the opener for the set at Stuttgart.
  3. Thanks man! I'll actually be surprised if I don't win...not to sound arrogant, but I like to think I am a good writer.
  4. You're tired of the band and their release habits? Then why are you still a fan? I think there will be some exciting things on the 9.0 CD, but I don't think people should get too excited because I highly doubt it will be like 6 b-sides or demos, most likely a couple and them some live tracks. I would be satisfied with that though.
  5. I like them all...I really hope Mike decides to bring the show to NYC because I'd be there for sure.
  6. I'm entering, I have a high college level in writing and I really want to hear the album ASAP. I'd be going to NY...
  7. Bullshit. How can you say that DBS is pop??
  8. It would be cool if the live version that comes with Out Of Ashes was from a different show than Sonisphere.
  9. It's not going to be funny when LPU 9.0's CD is horrid live tracks.
  10. Jesus Christ! This is the second topic on this already, it was posted in the DBS thread like 3 weeks ago.
  11. I didn't say it was unique, I said Chester managed to make his own sound that was different from LP. It's more rock driven, obviously, and that for Chester was different. It's not the same style of rock that LP is is what I'm trying to say.
  12. I will be highly surprised if they do a cover, I'm willing to bet money that they won't. I don't get why everyone is assuming they will. DBS isn't BOW and especially now that they have a full length album coming out, why would they play a cover? They're opening which means a short set and they have 13 tracks to choose from (Including Morning After) so I'm almost positive they'll select the best songs from the album to play.
  13. I really like how Chester managed to make his own sound with DBS that all the LP fans won't like. Most LP fans are very close minded, I've come to learn, so I think it's funny to read what people say about anything that isn't nu-metal.
  14. Hell yeah! I can't wait to see the video, it looks cool. I also can't wait until we can buy the video on iTunes because it'll be in high quality.
  15. If you pre-order the album, Fire will begin to download instantly. 'Morning After' and 'Crawl Back In (Live)' come when the album is released so you don't get those until October 13th which sucks. The funny thing is that we already have the remix of Morning After and Crawl Back In (Live) since I'm assuming it's the one from the Sonisphere EP.
  16. Um...me and everyone else in this thread that has said 'I'm going'? Kind of an obvious question. Anyways, it's a 6 and a half hour drive for me but I'm still going. After missing out on not being able to go to Epicenter there is no way I'm missing this, plus I could just ask for it as my birthday present although I'm not worried about money. I'm not sure if I'll be driving myself or if me and my friend are taking his car.
  17. I wouldn't say Benson is a weak producer by any means, he is just a different style than Gilmore or Rubin. He is more of a straight forward rock kind of guy, and I'm assuming that's what Chester wanted for DBS. He has produced a lot of albums that I enjoyed and has worked with some amazing bands such as (Three Days Grace, My Chemical Romance, Flyleaf, Papa Roach, Hawthorne Heights (not out yet, should be fucking insanely good), Saosin, Theory Of A Deadman, Zebrahead and Seether just to name a few). I actually like the albums he has produced heaps more than what Rubin has produced, I don't know about Gilmore...what has he produced besides LP? Anyways, after listening to Fire for about an hour and a half now, I have to say I love the song. I can pretty much tell how the vocals will sound on this album seeing as how Crawl Back In, Fire and the clip of Let Down all sound the same which I enjoy. I didn't like the stripped down vibe Rick Rubin used with LP, I like my studio songs to be more polished, I always have and I always will. Live is for the stripped down vibe.
  18. Holy fucking shit I did not see this coming. FIRE IS AMAZING!!! HELL YES!!! I love LP and DBS and LP fans.
  19. Fire is awesome, I love it too. I just wish we had the studio version, I don't think it's very good live. 3 more hours for me, I think I might wait for it.
  20. I think DBS should definitely play in Hartford, they should play at either Webster's Theater (Where I saw Madina Lake in May) or Toad's Place where Julien-K played like 2 months ago. If not CT, they should play in MA, NY or any of the East Coast states near our area.
  21. I saw a bunch of bands at Warped Tour this year that had 'Fuck You' on the back and I thought that would be cool to do with LP or DBS. I think it would have been effective at Epicenter this year with all the Tool fans, actually. I always like to rock the boat and I like to just be a rebel, so I like the idea for my DBS shirt. I'm not the type of person that will bash you for not agreeing with it though.

I remember last fall when everyone was like in shock at how hard it was to get the HTEP and LPU CD's. I'm lucky that I had a copy of HTEP since 2006 since I didn't have to wait like a year to get it after I ordered it. It's my baby, it was signed by LP the first time I met them. I should start sleeping with it at night to make sure nothing happens to it.
  23. I don't mind your t-shirt idea, but I'm making my own DBS t-shirt online and I'm having it sent to me. Much like a lot of other bands that I like (Escape The Fate, Senses Fail, A Day To Remember, and more), I'm going to make a fuck you shirt for DBS. Generally a lot of metal bands have stuff like their name or logo on the front and a big lettered fuck you on the back. I'll probably wear that to a show, if the security is stupid about it then I'll just sue them for not allowing freedom of expression.
  24. I don't think they're generous enough to actually let us hear *gasp* an actual CLIP from the album. Although, this is coming from the same band that has given us one single from an album that has been practically done since 2005. By now, I at least think we should have Fire and Let Down too, I think DBS is the only band to release a remix of a song that was never released (Morning After). I just don't understand why LP and their side projects are like the only musicians I know that never release anything. I mean, do they know that they have fans that like want the music asap not like fucking 85 years later?
  25. I bet the goodies are Morning After. What could happen at 3am (For me) tonight? Hmm...
