True. But the thing is that I don't understand why members of the band hate songs like High Voltage, My December, No Roads Left, Qwerty, Dedicated and stuff like that. Just because they don't want to play Hybrid Theory songs doesn't mean they can't play those kinds of stuff. The only thing I hate about LP's current setlist is that it's literally ALL singles, except for Session but I count that as more of an intro. Then again, it was on the Matrix Reloaded soundtrack but that's beside the point. At least during PR07 and stuff they had songs like Cure For The Itch and Qwerty. The 08 winter tour had some awesome songs too like Valentine's Day, In Between, A Place For My Head and My December. Then the 08 Summer tour in Europe had Reading My Eyes with the rest of those which was awesome. It seems that once PR08 kicked off they started getting tired and they just wanted to play the singles and get the show over with. Everyone knows there was hardly any crowd interaction and what not. I saw LP 6 times before PR08 and they seemed way more energetic than at PR08. When I saw them at PR08 they seemed tired and miserable pretty much. It's understandable though since they were touring for quite a bit. However, this Summer they should have stepped the set up a little bit. It was a cool set with Session returning, New Divide and Mike rapping different things over Points but still. They at least could have done something 'special' at Epicenter but instead they played the same set and Mike did Petrified over Points. I mean cmon. I'm just saying that for next tour they could AT LEAST play one song for the hardcore LP fans. I know members of LP hate the older material but is it really that hard to play even one or two songs for your DIE-HARD fans that stuck with you through all the bullshit with Warner and the long MTM wait!!!!

I'd love to have Bamboozle...as stated by me like 100 times since it was my first LP show and everything. But a lot of these shows would be awesome to have too. I'd love to have the show that Chester broke his wrist at in Australia, Berlin 2007 before Bamboozle and the Summer 08 shows with Reading My Eyes.

I don't listen to any of the bands you listed above. I listen to more alternative bands (Aiden, Escape The Fate, A Skylit Drive, Attack Attack!, Saosin, A Day To Remember, blessthefall, The Almost, and more) first off. Granted these bands haven't been around on the scene as long as LP but they don't play a bunch of their old songs, maybe just the singles. Bands strive to play their new material, not only because they enjoy it more, but because they want people to buy the album they are currently promoting. I know this argument is going nowhere for me because everyone here will jump down someones throat over old LP songs but still. Put yourself in LP's perspective and think about it. Also, I never said the band doesn't get sick of the songs you have mentioned either. I bet LP gets sick of every song in the setlist but that doesn't mean that they won't play the hits for the crowd. Do you understand? Chester probably fucking hates One Step Closer and Given Up but they still play those songs every single night because they are singles and big hits amongst the crowd. Yes, if LP played Carousel or And One, a bunch of die-hard fans would sing every word and love it. But also, there are other people attending the show that aren't die-hard fans at all. People that went just to see LP play in their city for a fun night out or something. It's not fair from a die-hard fans point of view but think about how the band thinks on this subject. Believe me, I'd like to see them play old songs but if the band isn't going to then why stress over it? We can't make them do it.

It would be awesome if they released them on iTunes again. Getting 7 min+ episodes are way better than these minute long episodes of random things.

I know I will get ATTACKED for saying this but I agree with Ryan. DBS didn't really hold up LP. Chester is the singer in LP, he doesn't need to be there for all the other aspects of the recording process, leave that to Mike and Brad and the rest of the band. Mike and Brad and the rest of the band do so much more than Chester does for LP. Chester just....sings the vocals pretty much. Mike and the rest of the band could write a whole album and have Chester come to the studio for a day, do all the vocals and call the album done. Also, DBS didn't even do a full tour or anything. Besides, Chester lives in Arizona, LP lives in LA. Do you think he's with the rest of LP all the time? I highly doubt it. It seems like LP is more of a job now for Chester which sucks. I highly doubt he even keeps in contact with LP when they're not recording/touring. It's like hey I have to go to LA for a few days and record the vocals for the LP album and the next time I see LP will be when we tour or something. But hey, I guess that's what happens. As for the website, I agree that DBS does need one. Myspace is a sorry excuse for a website, I mean, who the fuck even uses myspace anymore anyways? But I guess it's up to them if we ever get a website or not, we can't do anything about it unfortunately. Besides, DBS is pretty much over and done with now (until a future release) unless they do another tour so it doesn't really matter anymore. They could have done it in like August and it would have been effective.

Even though I don't have an iPhone or iPod Touch, still seems cool. Can't wait for the new song though. 6SS perhaps?

This thread makes me laugh. Everyone is like crying because Mike said they probably won't play Hybrid Theory EP songs live. Wtf? You guys need to calm down. I know many bands that don't play their older songs. Bands can play whatever they want. Wouldn't you get sick of a song you wrote over 10 years ago? Wouldn't you be sick of playing it live EVERY night? People need to consider that. Be happy they still play shows, or even play lead singles for that matter.

Can't wait for this. They'll probably be playing the same set though.

What is the point of this thread exactly? To discuss that Chester used to drugs? I don't see much of a point to it, but I'll give my opinion on it I guess since that's what I think may be the purpose of this thread? To me, if somebody uses drugs/alcohol, it's up to them. Who am I to tell them it's wrong?

Where are LPTVs from the studio for the new album? Where is the summer tour LPTV? I hate how all we get now for LPTV are like 2 minute videos of random things. We used to get awesome LPTVs.

I loved the newscaster episodes...if someone can find them that would be awesome.

After hours of waiting, we finally were let into the venue. We rushed to the stage and got front row. Kid Cudi opened up the show and he was amazing. I think he's one of the best rappers alive today and he performed really, really well. Great opening act. Next up was Dead By Sunrise, obviously the main event for us. End Of The World actually opened up the show for the first and only time in the band's history and rocked it. Condemned and Morning After went over really well too, the band was performing amazing. I knew it was being recorded for MTV, you can see us in the video.After DBS played, we hung out around the venue for a bit. We met LPxDC and a few other people during this time, which was cool. After that, AFI came on and they were pretty good. Paramore closed out the night and they were awesome. The crowd went insane for them.

Perhaps because Qwerty was played in the summer of 2006 before MTM was even close to being finished? They later recorded it for the fanclub and fans kept requesting it live, hence why they played it live at PR07. It's not like Qwerty was released as a b-side two and a half years after MTM came out, we already heard it way before MTM. I wouldn't even consider it a MTM era song.

I bet a lot of people will ask when the next FM record is coming out and he's just gonna say the same thing he always says. Anyways, I hope we get some interesting questions.
