  1. Does anyone know the song TDG played after The Good Life?
  2. If LP was one big surprise I would go insane!!! That would be so awesome!
  3. Great show!!!! 20 Eyes in high quality (sort of) finally!!!
  4. New riffs in Let Down!!!
  5. Yeah and the scream in Fire were awesome too...good show IMO.
  6. Condemned was so good!!!
  7. They sound good tonight...I hope someone rips this.
  8. The CD is just unappealing to look at to IMO. Like if I wasn't a LP fan and I didn't know who DBS were I probably would have gazed right by the album if I saw it on a shelf. I mean who uses jewel cases still? Lol. The biggest thing that disappointed me about DBS was there was no DVD/lyrics/or any bonus tracks besides Morning After which is almost identical to the 2006 remix. I hate that.
  9. Do people still go see DBS live anymore?
  10. I think mainly because there were no bonuses with the CD, no website and shitty promotion. Plus hardly a tour.
  11. I like the interviews. If you guys ever wanted to interview me, I'd be game for it. I don't trade or anything though but I've been to 8 LP shows and I've been a fan forever.
  12. I bet it will be a shortened set...I highly doubt they'll play Into You or In The Darkness or anything like that. I think they should do a heavy set since they only have roughly 25 minutes, it would leave the crowd rocking. Something like (Crawl Back In, Condemned, Morning After, Let Down, Walking In Circles, My Suffering, Inside Of Me, 20 Eyes).
  13. It would be awesome if Mike produced the whole album...
  14. I bet it will be similar to what they did with MTM, do a European Tour and play some US shows scattered across the states.
  15. I say change it to LPL. It sounds better/cooler.

    History

HAHA Nippon Budokan 2003!!! I also wanted to add in that I think I remember Mark talking about making lplive on the LPU forums back in like late 2005...I remember I first heard of him through LPU5 maybe? I joined during 4.0...
  17. I liked the chat too. All in all, it contained some good news + info. It wasn't 5 MTM B-Sides he was talking about though, those were new songs for the new album. He said one features both him and Chester singing going back and forth, that to me sounds fucking awesome. I wouldn't get my hopes up about an LPU Tour though. 8-10 songs on the new album won't really bother me that much if they're all great songs. I bet we'll end up getting 12 like always though.
  18. Everyone hates Kanye because of his arrogance/the Taylor Swift incident but I actually happen to like some of his music. LP/Kanye collab would have been cool. Any way to get these pics in higher quality without becoming a member?
  19. DBS is fucking awesome but it should be done with by now. What I don't understand is why the record wasn't released in 2005/2006 during the hiatus or why it was released in fucking October of this year. It could have came out in January/February/March/April of 2009 before New Divide came out and LP went on the Summer tour. Fuck, it even could have just came out in September. October 13th was really late if you ask me.

I heard about in 2006 maybe through the LPU I think. I didn't join the forums until long after that though. I like this site because it has the best news post and IMO, the best LP fans.
  21. I'm not going to get overly pumped for the 'new song' because like Hahninator, I 3/4 believe it will be an instrumental or a mmm...cookies related track. We shall see.
  22. - No DVD with the album. This really pissed me off to be honest. To some it's not a big deal, but I thoroughly enjoy watching the making of DVD's from LP and pretty much any other band because it gives you an inside look on the mood and evolution of the final product, plus LP ones are usually pretty funny and Ryan is hysterical so I figured the DVD would be cool, but no DVD. They released low quality making of 'clips' on myspace but no DVD? Cmon. - No bonus tracks with the album except for Morning After and Crawl Back In (Live) from iTunes. Wtf is that. 20 Eyes should have definitely been a bonus track, as well as some STUDIO recorded acoustic tracks. That would have been amazing. - No official website. Nobody uses myspace much anymore, Facebook, Twitter and several other social networking sites have taken full control. Why no official website? They've never given an explanation or anything. What the fuck ever happened to deadbysunrise.net or whatever? - Again, this really pissed me off but it may not piss off most people. Why no god damn lyrics in the album booklet? Why no explanations of songs or anything like that? Mike did that with the FM album, and LP has been doing that for their past two studio albums. Fuck, even JK had lyrics in the DTA booklet. - Where the fuck were the damn meet and greets at the shows? I went to NYC and Ulalume to see them and I met Elias and barely met Ryan and Fu. Not even that, but I wasn't prepared so I had no sharpie or anything to sign, plus I wanted to meet Chester. You would think that DBS being Chester's fucking passion project that he would be extremely grateful to the fans. If it weren't for the hardcore fans of him, hardly anyone would have attended the DBS US headlining shows. What pisses me off even more is that there was no M&G at Ulalume. NYC I can almost understand but Ulalume wasn't even a headlining show, they played second on the bill. He could have easily done a M&G with fans, fuck, even LPU members like myself! That would have been awesome. But no...
  23. Hey, I tried to hold it down for LPL too!
  24. I still have a hunch that the drugs gave him that grungy sound he had in the HT days!!!
  25. We waited for what seemed like forever and then we got in. We rushed right to the stage and got front left, right in front of Amir. I would have liked to have been on the side with Ryan and Chester but oh well, it was still awesome. We watched Velvet Code, the opening band, and I really enjoyed them. After that, DBS was just about to start playing. Fu and Elias came out and then the opening riff to Crawl Back In started playing and the band came running out. The band seemed really into it. They rocked through Crawl Back In and proceeded with Condemned and Morning After, both rocking the fuck out of the venue. Ryan was slamming on the guitar and going nuts. Next up was Fire which sounded cool live and I enjoyed watching Amir play it. Let Down, Walking In Circles and Too Late were all awesome, the lighting set a really cool mood for those songs. Next up was End Of The World. They closed with Inside Of Me and 20 Eyes, both awesome.
