  1. I wouldn't say it's my least favorite LP song, but it's not the best like a lot of people consider it to be. I don't like it in the live sets because it's super long and drags on.
  2. I remember way back in the day when Astat found out tons and tons of info about LP that wasn't well known, as he was saying. Me and Astat have had our arguments and stuff over the years, but I respect Astat a lot and he is one of the most important members of the LP community as a whole IMO. So thank you for all your knowledge of LP and your knowledge of tons of other music related things as well.
  3. I'm loving the new stuff. I've always been a Julien-K fan, and none of their stuff has disappointed me so far. I think this 3rd album will be really good. All This From The Sky is my favorite out of all the new songs and clips, though.
  4. EP would be cool. I loved Collision Course and still do. As long as there are no collaborations on the upcoming 6th album, I'll love it probably.
  5. 2 from each album.. 01. Papercut 02. Crawling 03. Faint 04. Breaking The Habit 05. What I've Done 06. In Pieces 07. Burning In The Skies 08. Blackout 09. Lost In The Echo 10. I'll Be Gone
  6. The FM instrumentals are real, I have all of them. I downloaded them back in 2005. The artwork is probably fan made though.
  7. Am I the only one here who is sick of New Divide? I always loathe seeing that song whenever I see LP live.
  8. I hope they don't drop COG live. It sounds great live IMO, and it's also a single and was also used in MOH. I prefer it to many other slower LP songs in the set. I'm willing to bet when they start touring for the 6th album that the only LT songs that will stay are BID, LITE and COG. Those were the 3 singles and they are all great songs.
  9. I say it because I love Given Up. I am sure someday they will remove it. I guess I would still probably go to the shows, it would just upset me. They'll probably always play What I've Done, so I can go for that song too.
  10. Hmm.. if LP drops Given Up, I probably won't even go to live shows anymore. It's definitely my favorite song that LP plays live because of the awesome fucking energy and I'm not one of those guys who gets super technical whenever Chester isn't perfect live. LGM I could care less about.
  11. I'LL BE GONE is one of my favorite LP songs of all time, I wish they'd play that. It doesn't seem hard to play, just like most other LP songs. There are not a lot of vocal layering or a lot of electronic noises and stuff going on. Maybe the issue is that Chester has trouble singing it like he does with so many other songs.
  12. I wasn't aware that people actually liked The Catalyst in the set lists.
  13. Chester's screams were great at that show, and Mike sang the ending different than other shows.
  14. I am using Sydney 2010 for Faint with the Pez brothers.
  15. I will probably end up using Pez's show out of respect that I have for Pez. Also, LP brought a lot of people out on Faint in 2004 but it's not really the same so I see what you mean.
  16. Thank you for those. I don't want to have multiples of songs because I am trying to keep the compilation about 20 tracks, so I added Given Up (Montreal 2008) because of the full scream. I know there are Selma 2007 and Columbus 2008, but I felt Montreal was the best of the 3. I'm thinking about maybe adding A Place For My Head from Paris 2010 just because it hadn't been played since '08 at that point and because it shocked so many people, not to mention it didn't fully return until 2012. I also like In Pieces from Detroit 2008 because of Chester's speech before the song, even if it is a little harsh.
  17. It's a great performance, but I'm talking about rare stuff that they only did a few times, or ultra special performances and stuff. I may consider adding it.
  18. Since we possibly may not be getting another DSP ever again, I had an idea to make a compilation of the gems from all of the DSP's released, all the way from Auburn '07 to Johannesburg '12. For example, a gem would be A Place For My Head from Paris 2010. I don't mean entire DSP's, I just mean maybe a special track or something from different shows and stuff. I don't have the time to listen to every single DSP to pick out gems but I was wondering if you guys here could help me with some. EDIT: Also, I don't want to make a super lengthy compilation. I want the best of the best gems. Like maybe 20 songs or so. 01. Given Up (Montreal, 2008) 02. A Place For My Head (Paris, 2010) 03. In Pieces (Detroit, 2008) 04. Faint /w Pez brothers (Sydney, 2010) 05. Blackout (Salt Lake City, 2011) 06. Bleed It Out (Chiba City, 2011) Night 2
  19. To me, the worst LPU CD has always been LPU7, so I will vote with Skipees and say Numb (LPU7) I want to eliminate LPU7 and LPU3 before any of the others. I hope LPU5 wins because it's my favorite LPU CD out of all of them. No, LPU5 isn't the year I joined LPU (I joined during the end of LPU3), but the CD sounds awesome.
  20. HAHA yes. On the 6.0 newsletter, Brad answered my question in the Q and A, I was so excited that I framed the poster, and I still have it framed on my wall. Lol.
  21. What, is this some kind of joke here?
  22. IMO, Qwerty was most definitely a MTM demo/seed because it was shown in the seed folder on the making of MTM, plus it was recorded in 2006 at the Laurel Canyon studios (LPU6 CD says so). LP wrote over 150 songs for MTM, and only 12 (technically 11 if you don't count Wake) made the final cut. That is a LOT OF songs. Joe said on the making of MTM that they had weird dance songs, weird heavy metal songs, and more. I bet LP created all kinds of styles of music for the album, and Qwerty definitely fits. Yes, it did come into finalization on the plane to Japan for Summer Sonic, but they did go back and record it in the studio after the tour, and it was shown in the seeds folder, so it was probably considered, like all songs were, at one point.
  23. I wouldn't pay for shows that aren't special. No one does. That's why there are no more DSP's, because people generally only buy the shows they were at. It'd be insane if someone literally purchased every single DSP that was released.
