  1. OMG I just listened to Sorry For Now and it sounds horrible. Now I know why they never played it when Chester was alive. He is really struggling to sing the chorus and shit. And he sounded horrible on Chester's verse. Chester was much better. Maybe he really isn't as good of a singer as I thought. Sorry For Now is extremely easy to sing, it shouldn't be any struggle at all. But is clearly is. Maybe they will have to just outright replace Chester and shit. Won't have support from me but it looks like 99.9% of people are like fuck Chester so yeah.
  2. And you know what dude? Furher more, you can go f**k yourself. Linkin Park was SIX motherfucking people. Now it's five. Mike may have been the primary song writer but he didn't write every single thing ever recorded by Linkin Park. The other guys in the band helped out too and especially with earlier albums. So you're wrong, point blank. I bet you hate when people tell you that you're wrong. All you ever do is attack people, I've seen it time and time again with various people. And I'm allowed to say that I didn't like the set, which to me, was in a more respectful way than I have done in the past. You are allowed to not like something. Being a fan doesn't mean you have to love every single thing that an artists puts out. And people are allowed to express their opinions over something, especially something so fucking trivial. And so what if I complained about them doing it without Chester. I loved Chester. He was my hero. Do I think that it fucking sucks that he is gone and Linkin Park will have to go on without him? You can bet your ass I do. Will it be extremely hard for me to accept it and possibly not accept it? Yes it will. Not everything is so simple, especially something fucking huge like that. I know that a lot of fans have moved on and shit but I haven't, I'm still trying to. It hasn't even been a year since Chester died yet. Stuff is hard to accept.
  3. Who gives a fuck lol I live in the USA I can complain about whatever I want when I want
  4. Bit of a dickish post, especially since Mike is going to Europe. Europe got a shit ton of Linkin Park, even got to see Chester's last tour ever, so the U.S. fans deserve this first, IMO. And it's Los Angeles, Mike's fucking home town. Not to mention that this was a webcast of not the greatest absolute quality, and wasn't mixed properly, etc. You can see the crowd singing along, getting into it. What the fuck more do you want them to do? Nobody knew what to expect at all and this isn't a Mike Shinoda show, it's a festival, so maybe not everyone there even knows the music. It also isn't a mosh type of concert like Linkin Park, which was a rock show basically. This is very different.
  5. Didn’t care for it personally. I’ll probably get attacked for saying that. No hate or disrespect to Mike though for getting up there and doing it, etc. Really hated the Linkin Park performances. The Mike Shinoda and Fort Minor was OK, but I didn’t love it. So yeah. I might still go to a show if he did one in NYC but that’s prob it.
  6. Hope his set is more Mike Shinoda/Fort Minor. Didn’t expect or want to see a shit ton of Linkin Park songs. Save that for when actual Linkin Park gets back together to tour and write new music.
  7. I don't think that's the case because he had to play earlier in the day since he has 2 shows in the same day. But even if that were the case, I see absolutely nothing wrong with that because 30STM is a huge legendary act that should be headlining anything they play at this point. This isn't Linkin Park, it's Mike Shinoda, and he is liking to be featured earlier on the bill for most festivals.
  8. I called MGK being on the album way back and Soul attacked me for saying so. But cool tracklisting nonetheless. Can’t wait to hear a few of these.
  9. Same. I've actually been listening to a lot of 2010 shows lately. I never listened to a lot of the 2010 shows and they are pretty damn good. I think I like them more than the 2011 shows!
  10. That's interesting, because he came up with the name Linkin Park, too. So basically they were called Xero up until 1999 when Chester joined. Yeah I guess And One was the first.
  11. I just feel like a lot of people think Hybrid Theory and Meteora are immature. But idk like I’m still in the same mindset as I was when I first heard those songs as a kid and probably always will be. Can’t see myself growing up or whatever. I know LP sold that shit when they made MTM that they’re ‘’grown up’’ now. Fuck that though. To me, Mike and Chester are still the same dudes from the HT and Meteora days.
  12. Wow yeah... great video there. I wish we had this full show in HQ. Mr. Hahn’s DJ Tech released a pro shot video of BTH from the show. And we got a pro shot of Chester’s beautiful speech before OML at the Hollywood Bowl show. But it would be epic to have the whole show uncut and complete and in good quality. Even a good full audience recording would be cool.
  13. I actually like the Monza show a lot. I’ve seen some people say Chester didn’t sound good but he sounded great to me. But yeah I wish there were more recordings. I wish there were good quality full recordings of Birmingham (Chester’s last show) and Sopron. As well as Lima.
  14. Idk, I just look at stuff like the MTM cycle where they had 3 major U.S. tours and played many other shows in the U.S. during that era that werent even a part of a tour. Meteora had 5 U.S. tours. So on and so forth. They just played A LOOOOOTTTTTTTT in Europe for THP. And that cancelled 2015 US tour was never made up. I mean I cant really fault OML for not having a U.S. tour cuz of what happened but I dont get why Europe gets the huge tour first and the live album, etc. I mean they even played South America before it and not one track was from one of those shows on the CD. I get that Europe has a lot of fans and LP likes it but Europe isnt the only place in the world and every single member of the band lives in the U.S. the last that I knew. The U.S. is their home country. We should have got some more shows with the last few cycles. OML should have definitely had a couple shows during that promo tour here, NYC and LA for sure, not only Vegas. But it doesnt matter now. I just hope Mike plays a few shows here that arent just L.A. or Vegas. NYC has always shown LP love from the beginning of their career and yet NYC is skipped over and neglected a lot by the band.
  15. Since I live in the U.S., Im expecting to get skipped over again, since the last two album cycles for Linkin Park largely neglected the U.S. But I hope Mike plays a show in like NYC or something. Id go. To further elaborate on the song OML, I think its just a great song. Its one of those songs that any human can relate to. All humans pass on at some point and every human experiences loss in some way. Its a sad song but like I said its one of those universal songs that we can can relate to. And Chester sings it well. Thats why its a good song, at least to me.
  16. I find it absurd that more people didn’t record full shows for this touring cycle. Some huge new places like Peru and Hungary, and no full constant source. I hate when people put shit on YouTube and say it’s a full show but the show is cut in between songs and shit, or a combination of different sources, etc. All past album cycles have many full recordings. Berlin 2015 is a perfect example. Great show, great proper full recording. And that’s just one example. There are tons.
  17. Good Goodbye with those horrible guest features and annoying chipmunk shit throughout the song, I can understand that, as well as Chester's cheesy chorus. But One More Light is a good song with a good meaning to it. Just a raw stripped down song with Chester singing beautifully about something meaningful. I might have not liked it originally but I love it now.
  18. So.... what was the real first song that the band wrote when Chester joined? Were they still Xero at the time of him joining or were they officially Hybrid Theory by then? I know they became Linkin Park long after Chester joined in May 2000. But yeah, what was the first song? I have seen people say And One, Slip, Esaul, etc.
  19. LP skipped most of Asia for THP and didn’t get to play there for OML so this is good news for the fans there.
  20. I dont even care anymore because I realized that the Chester era is over. Nothing Mike or anyone does will ever be as great as the Chester era for me personally so Im not worried. The Chester era legacy is written in history and will always remain there. You cant change the past. Mike can play whatever he wants, it was wrong for me to not want him to play some of the LP songs. I guess part of it is that its still so hard for me to think of a future without Chester. I still havent really healed from it and my mind just wont accept it. But Im trying to be more open to stuff and open to the idea of the future.
  21. Let’s keep the MTM stuff off of the list, though. And HT. Luckily he didn’t put Meteora in there but we know Chester wrote a shit ton for that album too. I don’t care about other stuff. I actually think a lot of the newer stuff (ATS-OML) should be played.
  22. The first like three albums music dont belong on the list. With all of those albums we have seen videos and photos of them all collectively working on the music. And you have many interviews with band members talking about those songs. Bleed It Out doesnt belong especially because Brad cake up with the very first seed of the song, and it just doesnt belong at a Mike show IMO. Sorry. In The End and the LPJZ songs dont, either. I can understand stuff like all songs from ATS, LT, OML. But cmon. Its only those I have a problem with. The others are cool to me. Edit: Also, I want to add, I dont care if he plays any LP songs. But I didnt like the songs I wrote about a few of them. Yeah, you and 5 other people, your brothers in Linkin Park. Dont ever forget your brothers.
  23. Lol I can already tell how the future with this is gonna go. RIP Chester.
  24. Kind of annoys me that he put so many Linkin Park songs under ''stuff I made''. I like to think that everyone in the band made that together as a band. I know Mike came up with most of the demos and shit in Linkin Park but cmon man. I'd rather hear most of the Mike Shinoda and Fort Minor stuff if I was going to a show. I'd rather have 95% of that Linkin Park stuff played at future Linkin Park shows when they decide to get back together again and write and tour. Sorry For Now and Roads Untraveled would be cool to hear, though, and I don't have any problem with those being played. But of course, this is just all my opinion on shit.
