  1. Wow, what a bitch that was. At first it kept screwing up and then it wouldn't let me get 2 tickets, I tried like 3 separate times. Eventually I knew I was running out of time so I said fuck it, I'll try to buy 1. And it worked. I then did it again and bought 1. And it worked. LOL. So I'm happy that worked out. Now it says there are no tickets available and they went fast. Damn.
  2. It actually turns out that I'm probably going to be going to the show. If all works out, I will buy my tickets soon. When you go to buy tickets it says that the event is all GA. So I guess that answers Catalyst619's question. The max capacity of the venue is only 500 people. It will be a cool show. I think since it's only Mike Shinoda performing, we will get a full set, like Identity L.A., maybe even a couple more songs. It's not for certain that it will be only Mike but it's basically implied, since the venue's site has the show under just Mike Shinoda and I think Mike would have announced if other artists would be there. A band called Velvet Code played before Dead By Sunrise when I went in 2009 here at the same venue and I can't remember if they were originally listed as performing or not.
  3. I don't get why people aren't allowed to simply discuss what they thought of the songs, etc. THP and OML both had reviews of songs out like months before the albums even dropped. Post Traumatic comes out in 10 days... Lol. Half the album is basically already out there for the world to hear. If a leak were to happen, Mike and his team would be smart to make it available for streaming ASAP to get that stream revenue because the days of the old model are over. I'm not saying it will leak anyways, OML didn't leak for like a day or two before it came out officially. I got my vinyl from Urban Outfitters like 2 days before (the day the leaks came online) so I just listened to that instead since I had the album. I wonder if that'll be the case where Post Traumatic comes in the mail a few days early since I pre-ordered it back in like March.
  4. I know nothing about instruments really and I will give it to Astat that he knows about these types of things more than anyone else on the site, so I'm not purposely trying to sound stupid. But didn't Rick Rubin and Rick's engineers that worked with the band at the Houdini House have a bunch of super old and weird vintage instruments that the band used while they were there? I remember it showing it in the full LPTV episode for the Houdini House, as well as the Making of MTM. Maybe somewhere else, too. I think Brad used a Les Paul at one point, in the LPTV, he is shown tuning it with one of Rick's engineers at the Houdini House. And MTM had a lot of weird instruments that the band wouldn't normally use or hasn't used since. Xylophone in the intro to In Pieces, right? The organ for HHH. Ebow effect petal, etc. And I know there was also a clip on the making of MTM or that LPTV where Phoenix said they had these super old amps that were extremely rare, etc. I think Mike used a motown piano type thing for BIO, too, as well as the tambourine that Rob used in the song, that he also shows in the making of BIO music video.
  5. We have full audience recordings for 3 of the 4 Summer Sonic 2006 shows (Tokyo has a few missing spots here and there but it's close to complete). And his singing/screaming was great at those shows, but I still don't think it rivaled 2003/2004 Chester. I love Minutes To Midnight and I think the tour for Minutes To Midnight was one of the best, but it still doesn't come close to rivaling 2003/2004 Chester. So I agree on the fact that Projekt Revolution 2004 had a better setlist and screaming, 2004 was still a great year overall. The problem with Projekt Revolution 2004 though is that some of the shows aren't as good as others, which is normal. For example, I think Camden 2004 is much worse of a show than Rock AM Ring 2004. Somerset and Mountain View are great from PR04, those are Godly. Charlotte is somewhere in the middle. And the other sources are shitty quality like Darien Center, but I can tell even by the low quality that Darien Center was epic. Live In Texas is probably the best sound the band has ever had for a SBD recording, IMO. Mike and Chester were of another world at that time, especially Chester. And the guitars were turned out super loud in the mix which I loved because guitar is fucking awesome.
  6. Damn really? Lol. It’s so close to album release and I figured they’d at least be able to just say how it sounds and stuff.
  7. Not gonna travel for this, especially since the NYC show is a few days after and it looks like I'll be going to that. I've already met Mike and the rest of LP a bunch of times so it just doesn't seem worth the drive and money for me. (NYC is a 3 hour drive from where I live). If I lived in NYC, I'd definitely be there, though. Anyone who lives in NYC should go.
  8. So the Vienna, Austria Listening Party was today, or is today, etc. Is it over? How are the other tracks? There are definitely a few that I want to know about.
  9. I wouldn't quote me on it though. Because I'm not that familiar with the venue at all, I've only been there once in 2009. You might want to google the venue and stuff and try to find out more info, or even just call the venue and ask about it.
  10. I thought the entire place was GA. I don't even remember from the DBS show, honestly. But I was definitely in GA and was front row.
  11. I'm going to try to go to the show but I'm not sure if I'll be able to. I actually saw DBS play at Gramercy back in 2009 and it was a cool show and venue, it was really intimate for me since I was used to always going to shows with massive crowds. EDIT: I can actually make it so I will be there.
  12. Does anyone have any photos of the merch table/booth at European Linkin Park shows? I'm looking for photos of MTM-OML Touring Cycles. All the way from the first shows of MTM (Berlin, Astoria, etc.) to the final show in Birmingham for OML (Chester's last show too). Anything before MTM Tour would be cool too but I'm looking more for MTM-OML.
  13. I've never seen the brand available anywhere. I'm sure maybe back in the era of 2004-2006 it was available to find. Maybe try searching for Whiteboy Brand Clothing or something. Finding the exact hat that he wore will probably be like finding a needle in a haystack, honestly.
  14. I am actually most excited for this song next to the last song on the album because the title sounds cool.
  15. So that's just a signing+photos it says? Any word on a show happening?
  16. Does he say that he hasn't heard the songs before? I was basing my claim off of that. Because he definitely has heard the songs before, you can tell. LOL. But yeah, there are loads of reaction videos all over YouTube, not just to music, but to literally everything. I don't get why they are a trend. I guess if people genuinely like it, that's all that matters. But they aren't for me.
  17. A lot of great ones you mentioned there. RAR 2014, Southside (my favorite show of 2017), Berlin 2012 (did have a really good sound, I love watching the DVD).
  18. I was going by the packages though, not the music
  19. So is it safe to say that Rock Am Ring 2004 is considered the greatest show of all time by the fan base? Seems to be the unofficial best show of the band and it has been for years. Even fans who dont really know the band know about the show. Lol.
  20. I have all LPU items from LPU5 and on. I have some stuff from LPU4 and LPU3 but in those years, I wasn't a collector and I was careless with my stuff as a 13 year old. I still have the LPU4 CD (Only the CD, no case), LPU4 Newsletter, LPU4 Wristband, LPU4 Shirt, LPU3 CD (with case too), LPU 3 Shirt, LPU 3 Guitar Pick. I also have the LPU2 and LPU1 shirts, as well as the LPU2 CD and HTEP Reissue from 1. But I got those years ago when the LPU sold them again, I wasn't a member for 1 or 2. So it's only 6 years old then in November. I would expect it to hold up that long. I imagine LPU products are better than the shit you can buy at Wal-Mart for a 99 cents like their carabiners.
  21. Same.. kind of corny IMO. Tell that guy to buy the music, too. Shouldn't be available for free, the LPU music. I guarantee that he has heard the music before too because he gets into the beat before the beat is even there. And whenever the chorus is about to start he starts going crazy. You wouldn't do that the first time you heard it. And for the Given Up live one he starts singing put me out of my fucking misery after hearing put me out of my misery repeated 4 times (it's also edited). Seems like he already knows all these songs. So it's really just for views that's all it is. I could film myself reacting to Linkin Park songs right now and say I've never heard them before.
  22. I do like some items in packages 9-16. For example, I have the LPU11 Flag hung up on my wall next to my computer because it's badass. There was some cool stuff in later packages. A lot of the packages from this decade are boring because there aren't much items included. Especially the last like 3 or 4. The PlugAir was just stupid with 13. I could review each package that I have (joined in LPU3).
  23. LPU7 had a caribiner, not LPU9. Unless you mean the one that came with LPU12 that was smaller. But that's an example of what I mean. The older packages were just epic with good products. 1-8.
  24. Yeah but are you going by the package or the music? I agree the music on that one is good. I like a lot of the music on most LPU albums. I'm just talking about the full package. Even though the stuff in the older packages was basic, I liked a lot of it a lot. I liked the art design for a lot of the older ones. LPU5 is actually my favorite LPU package of all. Loved the design. Loved that badass cursive looking logo too.
  25. Everything after LPU8 sucks (LPU8 being the last good LPU package). Sure, some of the music is cool on CD's past LPU8, but IMO, the package went severely downhill starting with LPU9. I'm surprised I don't see more of recent LPU packages like that up for sale.
