Wow! Whatever it is, b-side or new song, I’ll take it! It’s obvious the band is rejuvenated, you can tell by the energy of the album, the shows, and the overall vibe of the band members both old and new, they all seem to be having a lot of fun! It probably translates into making more music as well. Interested to see what they can come up with, I loved From Zero.

I hope you’re right lol. That would honestly be wild if they were to release a two part album. (Like Metallica did with Load & Reload - although I have no doubt LP’s part 2 would be better received than Metallica’s, those are some underrated albums however imo)

I think it’s hard for all of us in ways to accept the change. As Mark said, we were spoiled with Chester for so long… truly a once in a generation vocalist, hell maybe even a once in a lifetime vocalist. For me, as someone who was saved by Chester and still loves him dearly, having LP back is a true blessing because the band wasn’t just him, it was the others too. Emily’s fine imo, I just wish she’d sing a little bit more instead of having the crowd do parts. I think that’s her style, she likes getting the crowd involved. She obviously isn’t going to compare to Chester because nobody can or would. Which is also why I’m glad they picked her because a Chester copy would just be weird and uncomfortable. She brings her own energy and vibe to the band and honestly I see a little bit of Chester vibes in how she acts and her stage presence, but it feels NATURAL not forced. She’s not going to be him because she isn’t him, but she’s damn good for what she is and in the position she’s in.

I get the impression that they originally didn’t plan to perform it live, but because it is a fan favorite they decided to play it.

Holy cow they haven’t been to Indonesia since 2011? That’s a crazy statistic, I think the band might play it safe with this one, but then again you never know. I think we’ll get more changes to the set in April however. One thing I hope stays in April is the hybrid version of Lost, I need to see that live!

Me too, man. Me too. It IS a shame she can’t interact freely with the fanbase but I wouldn’t put it past some psycho to try and pull some funny shit at a M&G. I really believe that’s why we won’t have them at the very least until things calm down (if they ever do). @LPLStaff also mentioned that people would say shit about Chester to Mike / the rest of the band and that’s gotta be very emotionally exhausting. I completely get why we probably don’t have meet and greets, although it sucks.

Yeah, the sad part about all the Emily backlash is the accusations against her more than likely are bullshit. She can’t help what she was born into, and it would take five seconds of research (or listening to her music from Dead Sara) to realize that her situation is extremely complicated. It’s shitty how people only read the headlines and make up their minds to hate a person in a situation they don’t know anything about and refuse to be open minded and empathetic. Chester wouldn’t be ashamed of his bandmates for moving on with Emily, he’d be ashamed of the people who bully Emily in his name.
