I mean $10 USD a year really isn’t bad for early entry and some of the other perks you get, that’s less than a meal at McDonald’s. but I do miss the older perks such as the CDs and meet and greets a lot. I understand about not bringing M&Gs back, but don’t understand about no new music for the LPU. Some of the demos from the new album that we saw on LPTV over this past year would’ve been really cool to release…

I can’t believe it’s been a year already. Wow. I’ve had such a great experience and a lot of fun this past year. Seeing the shows, meeting new friends, following the tour online, new recordings. All of it. I hope it continues for awhile… I had no idea how much I actually missed it all until they actually came back.

Yeah man, I love this community. I’ve been here since THP era. Love it here, and love all of you guys. I agree with Fleur as well, it all just sucks. Especially because it should be a fun new thing. I agree with you as well that LYF would’ve been a great tribute.

My rant wasn’t directed towards you, it was more so towards the situation in general. It’s becoming extremely frustrating to read all the comments on socials and shit, to the point where I lashed out. Do I find it odd that they don’t mention Chester and try to distance themselves from that era? Of course I do. Do I blame them? Not really. Because the way I see it, they probably don’t want to be accused of milking him, because his toxic ass family has already said that. Do I wish they would mention him? Of course! It’s just so exhausting to me to see all the discourse about the band and the fighting between people over it all over the internet. It’s like, over the past few days I’ve thought once or twice “I wish they hadn’t come back” because of how exhausting it’s all been. It’s gotten to the point now where I can’t even listen to LP without thinking about everything. I really just wish the press would quit fanning the flames and that the people attacking the band would move on.

I actually kind of agree with this. We’ve actually had A LOT of Chester tributes. I count Looking For An Answer as the one about Chester. On the Post Traumatic tour Mike talked about him every night. Then we got HT / M20 and THEN Friendly Fire? I’ve literally had it with all the entitled ‘fans’ complaining about everything when the band didn’t have to do anything at all. Would people just rather have had the band stay “dead”? I’m seriously tired of seeing so much complaining, not so much here as much, (there are people here who are guilty, not naming names) but on LP socials and every post about LP somewhere you have people whining about whatever they dislike about the new lineup. IF YOU DISLIKE IT SO MUCH WHY ARE YOU STILL COMPLAINING?! MOVE ON ALREADY JESUS CHRIST. I’m sorry to rant, but would it kill people to be a little more appreciative / grateful? Especially after everything that has happened.

Of course he was right. He’s literally the LP community’s Sherlock Holmes. He may be many things but he is rarely wrong on source info.
