  1. Wow!!! Yeah, I (much like everyone else) would love to hear your story!
  2. Carousel and Step Up originate from the Xero era? That’s a very interesting tidbit of information...
  3. It is bullshit. Guy’s in over his head. He upped the price after Chester passed, you’re right, I think he wants $50K. Which makes the tapes impossible to obtain, unless one of us here at LPLive wins the lottery... really sad. I’d love to see it.
  4. I like the Xero era a lot too. I wish we’d get some live footage from that era, that would be epic. Would be so interesting to see what the sets look like. I don’t think Mark Wakefield is as terrible as everyone makes him out to be either. He’s no Chester obviously, but then again 99% of singers aren’t Chester. I consider Mark a average singer. He’s not terrible IMO.
  5. I like the idea of this thread! Download 04 would be a good one. In my mind the holy grail from that era would be a full PR04 show. Also something from PR03 as we only have 3 incomplete sources from that tour. Maybe Reading 03? There’s a lot of legendary tours from the Meteora cycle, so it would be harder to choose for that then Hybrid Theory. You also have the Japan 2006 shows, Live 8, MFR 05. So much.
  6. He was part of the band’s history too... awful singer or not. I don’t think 3 songs is a lot. I’m personally looking forward to hearing Esaul with his vocals. I’m wondering if Mike’s verses are the same as the LPU11 demo or different.
  7. I got the whole $200 box set. So pumped! I wonder which Projekt Revolution 2002 show is on the DVD
  8. 🤯🤯🤯 Seriously, this is the best promo cycle for an LP release I’ve seen. Leave it to LP to singlehandedly save 2020 for me. LOL
  9. I still can’t watch it either. Mike’s shows I can relisten to. HB I can’t
  10. Hell, there are better shows from the same tour! Los Angeles and San Francisco especially
  11. These are mine. 1. Cancelling DSPs. In the middle of the touring cycle no less. Would’ve been sick to have DSPs from 2013. The band was on fire. 2013 is the only LP year we don’t have any official release at all from. 2. Not playing more shows in 2013, the band had a Europe arena tour booked but fell through for some reason. 3. Not visiting Australia since 2013, while Germany got 50 million shows in 2014-2015. 4. Not making up the 2015 US tour where Chester broke his ankle. 5. Live in Texas, while a great live album, sounds too overproduced and shouldn’t have been from two separate shows, I wish they would’ve released Reading 2003 as a live album instead. Much better show + crowd with the same setlist as Summer Sanitarium.
  12. They never really seemed that way to me. Idk. The press are idiots. And I love your profile picture, that’s GIR from Invader Zim riding the pig right? I love that show.
  13. Pretty awesome! Always cool to see more recordings surface! Even if it’s just on YouTube it’s better than it being uncirculated at all.
  14. That is a really good point! Unfortunately we may never know the true setlist from this show.
  15. Audio is from the Phoenix 2000/08/15 video I believe. I’m not doubting that could be the set list, but unfortunately we don’t have 100% confirmation
  16. Yeah. I mean, we have Garo’s audio. Which is so damn good that it’s borderline SBD quality anyway. We do have plenty of stuff coming. I’m glad they at least played some LP. If I were German I’d be happy to hear several songs by LP on the radio. I almost never get that where I live because there’s only one alternative rock station. The rest are top 40 🤮
  17. Thank god we have Garo's excellent recording from this show.
  18. This is so cool! I’m glad some of these festivals are putting out some LP stuff! Hope we can get Rock Am Ring 2007 or Summer Sonic 2006 one day!
  19. Summer Sonic 2006 would be a dream come true for me.
  20. This is what's great about LP. Two different opinions and still you both are fans of the same band.
  21. My perception has changed certainly since the album came out. At first I really didn’t like it. At least until I heard the songs live. The songs translated extremely well live. Now OML is my 3rd favorite LP album (behind ATS and MTM). What hits me hard about the album is the extremely personal lyrics. The lyrics have helped me in some dark times. Here’s my track by track review: Nobody Can Save Me is my absolute favorite song on the album, it describes exactly what goes through my head sometimes, and how I’m the only one who can help myself. Not a fan of Good Goodbye’s studio version, but the live version absolutely slaps. Talking To Myself is one of my favorite live songs, and the studio version is pretty good too, although the live version puts the studio version to shame. Battle Symphony is okay, not my favorite on the album, but not my least favorite either. Invisible is great. Love Mike taking lead vocals, and this song, along with Sorry For Now, gives me hope that when LP does come back, Mike can front the band. Heavy is my least favorite song on the album, but the live version with just Chester sounds great, wonder if there’s a demo with just Chester singing. I’d love to hear that. Sorry For Now is good as well, Again much like Invisible, I love Mike taking lead, and I hope this song will be a mainstay in LP sets for years to come, sounded excellent on the Post Traumatic tour. Halfway Right is a good one as well, I can relate to the lyrical content in ways, always fighting with myself in my head. The title track, is super super emotional, I got tears in my eyes listening to it even before Chester passed. Now it’s brutal to listen to, still one of my favorites though. Sharp Edges is a great one too, reminds me a lot of Mumford and Sons. Sounds almost folky as well. If you read this all, you’re the real MVP!
