Yeah man, I love this community. I’ve been here since THP era. Love it here, and love all of you guys. I agree with Fleur as well, it all just sucks. Especially because it should be a fun new thing. I agree with you as well that LYF would’ve been a great tribute.

My rant wasn’t directed towards you, it was more so towards the situation in general. It’s becoming extremely frustrating to read all the comments on socials and shit, to the point where I lashed out. Do I find it odd that they don’t mention Chester and try to distance themselves from that era? Of course I do. Do I blame them? Not really. Because the way I see it, they probably don’t want to be accused of milking him, because his toxic ass family has already said that. Do I wish they would mention him? Of course! It’s just so exhausting to me to see all the discourse about the band and the fighting between people over it all over the internet. It’s like, over the past few days I’ve thought once or twice “I wish they hadn’t come back” because of how exhausting it’s all been. It’s gotten to the point now where I can’t even listen to LP without thinking about everything. I really just wish the press would quit fanning the flames and that the people attacking the band would move on.

I actually kind of agree with this. We’ve actually had A LOT of Chester tributes. I count Looking For An Answer as the one about Chester. On the Post Traumatic tour Mike talked about him every night. Then we got HT / M20 and THEN Friendly Fire? I’ve literally had it with all the entitled ‘fans’ complaining about everything when the band didn’t have to do anything at all. Would people just rather have had the band stay “dead”? I’m seriously tired of seeing so much complaining, not so much here as much, (there are people here who are guilty, not naming names) but on LP socials and every post about LP somewhere you have people whining about whatever they dislike about the new lineup. IF YOU DISLIKE IT SO MUCH WHY ARE YOU STILL COMPLAINING?! MOVE ON ALREADY JESUS CHRIST. I’m sorry to rant, but would it kill people to be a little more appreciative / grateful? Especially after everything that has happened.

Of course he was right. He’s literally the LP community’s Sherlock Holmes. He may be many things but he is rarely wrong on source info.

Yeah the initial livestream did not do her any favors lol. I actually think you’re right here, I’ve noticed she has amazing technique (she’s used vocal techniques I’ve never heard Chester use) but when you’re as nervous as she was you’re gonna make mistakes. Unfortunate that people made up their minds about her right there because you can tell now that she’s way more confident and in control of her voice than 10 months ago.

lol I bought one of each. I’m 1000% sure I won’t get any of the crazy different parallels or autographs or anything but that’s okay, I honestly think this is very cool, I used to collect American football cards as a kid too haha.

Not just you, I was listening to the Los Angeles Forum show a little while ago, Em’s confidence onstage now is like night and day compared to then. Love to see it! I noticed it in the backstage footage too, but I REALLY notice it during the performances. Her screams especially sound much more brutal and it also seems like she worked on or switched up her technique because it seems like she sings some of the songs much more controlled than before.

Epic video with epic audio!!! I was right behind him as he was recording this lol. Greenville was great, but crowd wasn’t as good as Raleigh. still good though, IGYEIH is nuts at this show though because Emily didn’t have the crowd sing the outro screams this time and it sounded GNARLY. I give Greenville a solid A grade, Raleigh A++.
